Bong Hee: I already said no.

Ji Wook: I know.. But Bong Hee..I really want this. I have to help them in this case. I can't just sit here and not do anything. I need to put that murderer behind bars before it's too late. You understand that, right?

Bong Hee: I don't. You're not the only prosecutor in this city, Ji Wook.

Ji Wook: They asked for my help. They chose me.

Bong Hee: I can't believe this. (She's trying so hard to calm herself.)

Ji Wook: Honey..

Bong Hee: Don't call me that. Not now.

(Ji Wook gives up. He knows she's hurting right now & it hurts him even more but he just can't let go of this case. He tried to reach her hand on the table but she avoided it. It hurt him a little bit.)

Bong Hee: Do you really want to leave me?

Ji Wook: (shocked) Bong Hee..no. Of course not. I never wanted that. Never. If I could take you with me, I will. But I know you have work & you love it. I can't do that to you.

Bong Hee: 4 months.

Ji Wook: Max. But I hope it won't come to that. I hope we can rest this case as soon as possible.. (He saw the sadness in her eyes. She's close to crying.) Honey..please.. Look at me. Don't cry.

Bong Hee: If I don't see you in a day, I miss you so bad already. And I worry so much.. If you're eating..if you're feeling well.. 4 months? How will I survive that? What if you get sick.. how about your nightmares.. (She's now crying.)

Ji Wook: (He couldn't stand it anymore. He stood up & sat beside his wife.) Hey.. (He held her face with both hands & brushed her tears away. It's breaking his heart, seeing her like that.) I promise to visit you every weekend no matter what.

Bong Hee: No.. It's a long way from home. You'll just tire yourself.

Ji Wook: It doesn't matter as long as I can see you.

Bong Hee: (cries harder & hugs her husband) I keep asking you to not go even if I know it's really important to you. I'm sorry..

Ji Wook: I understand. It's hard for me, too, believe me. I don't know how to live even a single day without you.

Bong Hee: You might think I'm overreacting but 4 months without you will feel like a year..

Ji Wook: I feel the same.

Bong Hee: Will you be okay? Will you promise me?

Ji Wook: (He faces Bong Hee & nods.) I'll try. How about you?

Bong Hee: (shakes her head) No. Not when you're so far from me. But I will really try..

(Ji Wook smiles weakly, and then he kissed her on the lips gently.)
