Chapter 4

Everybody's home for Ji Wook's farewell party. Eun Hyuk noticed that Ji Wook doesn't speak a lot today and there's something wrong with his smiles. He's smiling but it doesn't reach his eyes.

He also noticed that Bong Hee also felt it too.

Eun Hyuk: Did you guys fight last night?

Bong Hee: Uhh...no. He just started being like that this morning. He won't even let me help him prepare the food.

Eun Hyuk: He cooked a lot! You know Ji Wook. When he's confused or going through something, he cooks a lot.

Bong Hee: And I found him cleaning the house at 5am like can you believe that?

Eun Hyuk: Oh. Then something's really bothering him.

Bong Hee: I know. I'm so worried. I asked him earlier but you know your bestfriend. He just said no and that I don't have anything to worry about.

Ji Wook: Eun Hyuk.

Eun Hyuk: (a bit shocked, hoping that Ji Wook didn't hear their conversation) Oh! Ji Wook! My friend!

Ji Wook: How's the case I endorsed to you?

Eun Hyuk: Ah. (Laughs) Ji Wook, it's your party. Let's not talk about work, okay? (tries to laugh)

Bong Hee: Jagiya.. (Smiles and goes to Ji Wook and links her arm with his) Lawyer Ji is right. Let's forget about work for the meantime.. Please?

Ji Wook, of course, can never resist his wife's charm.

Ji Wook: Okay.

Bong Hee: (smiles) Thank you.
