Chapter 15: Bong Hee

Two weeks ago.

Ji Wook: I won't.
Bong Hee: Huh? What?
Ji Wook holds her hand and puts it on his lap. He brushes his thumb with hers.
Ji Wook: Nothing. Forget what I said.
Bong Hee: Noh Ji Wook.

They were watching A Millionaire's First Love this morning and Bong Hee asked him by the end of the movie if he could love again, in case she will share the same fate with the female lead. Ji Wook didn't answer and said it wouldn't happen - that there's no way she's going to die because of an illness, because she's the healthiest person he knows. "You've only been in the hospital once, remember? When you broke up with me. Because you missed me so much." He , laughing at the memory, and she replied, "I didn't miss you. I was just not eating very well. That's it." Ji Wook still laughed and just stopped arguing instead. He just pulled her close to him and kissed her cheek, which made her blush. "Fine, if you say so."
 

Ji Wook: (sighs and looks at Bong Hee) I would never love another. It's only you for me.
Bong Hee: Ahh.. (Smiles) Really?
Ji Wook: (frowns) You think I'm lying?
Bong Hee: (laughs) Of course not. (She clings to his arm and brushes her cheek with his shoulder.) Me too..jagiya. It's only you for me.
Ji Wook: (smiles and kisses her hair) I know. But can we not talk about that? We're too young to die. And if you ask that once again, we are not going to watch tragic movies anymore. You understand?
Bong Hee: Noh Ji Wook, you're so serious! (She laughs)

Mr. Byun: Son, you have to eat something.. You haven't eaten for two days. You'll get sick..
