“Momo!”

Momo clutches her chest, heart-beating fast. Who knew Mina could speak that loudly?

“Wha- umm. I fell asleep, huh? Sorry,”

“You better be! You can’t sleep tonight!”

Momo hears frustration in Mina’s voice. But the watery eyes that accompany it seems out of place.

“But why~?” Momo whines, accentuating her question in English. She tries to blink the sleep away.

“I can't sleep! And it’s your fault!”

Momo stares at Mina, trying to recall what she did to make Mina feel this way. They just had a movie marathon. And surely, they turned off the TV after watching the last movie.

“Momo! Don’t sleep~! Pleaseeee.”

Mina’s shaking her head now and cuddling a bit closer to Momo. The warmth has an opposite effect on Momo, Unfortuantely for Mina.

Mina hears snoring so she tugs on Momo’s arm…

pinches her cheeks…

tickles her side...

Momo flinches.

“Okay! I’m awake. Geez, Mina.”

Momo’s unsure whether to be irritated or sympathetic. Mina hugs her tight, face snuggled between her neck and collarbone. She remembers what happened now and she giggles. It’s a bad idea, she realizes, now that she’s nursing a smack on her arm.

It doesn’t stop her from teasing the adorable girl beside her.
