Seulgi reaches out and fails. She frowns at Moonbyul but the other girl is unfazed, moving the bottle further away from Seulgi.

“I’m sure Irene wouldn’t want to see you get home drunk. Solar texted me saying they’re already on their way home.”

“Mm-hmm. Then I’ll just come home when she’s already asleep.”

Moonbyul takes a swig from her own bottle. Her face is flushed pink yet still far from being as tipsy as Seulgi.

Seulgi’s eyes narrow to a line, if it was even possible, questioning the look and smirk her friend is giving her.

“What?”

“You and I both know she won’t sleep until you come home.”

“Sorry, Irene.” Moonbyul’s bent forward in the deepest bow she could muster for an apology. Solar, having been called as 1) designated driver and 2) pawn in facing an angry Irene rolls her eyes and just sighs.

Solar can only utter half a goodbye when Moonbyul pulls her away as soon as Irene accepted their apology. Sort of, because the couple just assumes she does.
