AFTER FEW DAYS

HYOMIN'S POV

"Jiyeon think positive. I'm sure Eunjung have reasons why she never showed up or even call or text you this past three days" Soyeon unnie said to Jiyeon

We're already here at school.

In Eunjung's office to be exact.

It's been three days since we haven't seen or heard anything from Eunjung.

Her cousins doesn't even know where is she is?

"Yeah, unnie is right...I'm sure Eunjung can't take not to see you for long" I said.

"But three days feels like forever. I miss her so much" She lifelessly said while sitting on Eunjung's chair.

She's playing with the rilakkuma keychain on her hand.

"What if her Grandpa have something to do with this? I'm worried about what might her Grandpa do to her" She added.

That's what we suspect too.

"Boram and Qri said they'll try to figure out. Let's wait for them and by the way Jiyeon. Do you know where Hyojoon is?" Soyeon unnie said.

Yeah.

I never heard from Hyojoon too.

What's with the missing people this days?

His wedding will be tomorrow.

"Hey, what if Mr. Kim kidnap Hyojoon and Eunjung then force them to continue the wedding tomorrow?" I said before Jiyeon could answer unnie's question.

"Possible but I'm sure the old man did not kidnap my oppa. Oppa left but he didn't tell me where will he go but he promised to come back" Jiyeon said.

Hyojoon left?

"But it's still possible that Mr. Kim have him. He's alone" Unnie said.

"No. He's not alone. His stepsister is helping him....Yoo Inna is helping him" Jiyeon said.

Yoo Inna??!

So that's the reason why I haven't seen that woman on practice.

"Hey, we know where Eunjung is" Kyul said when she arrive with Boram.

I immediately approach my girlfriend and hug her.

"Where is she?" I ask.

"In her house" Kyul said and sigh.

"In her house? She's in her house all this while?" Soyeon unnie ask but I wonder why Jiyeon is not saying anything.

"She's grounded. Grandpa is not allowing her to talk to anyone or come out on her room" Boram said.

"We're trying to call uncle Hahm but we can't reach him." Kyul said.

"So what will happen now? There's supposed to be a wedding tomorrow. If Hyojoon is nowhere to be found why does he have to keep Eunjung??" Unnie ask.

"I never heard of any cancellation or new plan about tomorrow's event" Boram said.

"Jiyeon-ah. Why are you being so quiet?" Soyeon unnie ask her.

Jiyeon sighed and brush her face.

"I need to see Eunjung and talk to her" She said.

Mwo?

"And how will you do that?" I ask.

"Love will find a way" She said and get up.

"C'mon. We'll be late for our first class" She said and walk outside the door while we were just cluelessly looking at her walk away.

"Is that the effect of not seeing her Seobang for days?" I ask.

"I don't but that love will find a way thingy sounds dangerous" Unnie said.

I hope she's not getting herself in some kind of trouble.

So since our first class was about to start in few more minutes we decided to follow Jiyeon on our classroom.

SOYEON'S POV

I'm worried about what Jiyeon plans to do.

Well, she really good at getting herself in trouble eversince.

**phone rings**

"Mom?" I pick up the call.

Why is she calling me at this time?

She knows I'm in class.

Good thing the teacher is not yet here.

"I need to meet you at lunch. I'll text the address to you" She said.

"Alright, I'll just inform Hyomin and Ji-"

"No. Only you" She said

Mwo?

"I'll hang up now. See you later" She said and indeed hang up.

"Is everything ok unnie?" Hyomin ask me when she go back to her seat.

Our teacher just arrive.

"Yeah, I'm ok...Hyomin I know how much you love Qri but you have to limit yourself. Our Mom could've ask someone to spy on us" I reminded her again.

She clings on Qri like there's no tomorrow.

"You don't understand unnie" She said and she really looks sad.

What does she mean by that?

LUNCH

Like what Mom said I meet her in this restaurant I never been before.

It's just a few minutes’ drive from HEJ University but I didn't find this place really inviting so I never tried eating in here.

But I'm still wondering why does it have to be only me.

"Hi Mom" I greeted her.

"Good that you're here on time" She said.

"So....Why are we here?" I ask.

"Soyeon as my first born I am expecting so much on you" She started.

"And one of these days you will be the one in-charged of our businesses. I trust in all your capabilities but you still need help" She said.

"Yeah...I'm sure Hyomin will be really much of a help as long as the place where we'll be working is ghost free" I said.

"I wasn't referring to your sister. Right now I want you to meet your potential fiancé" She said.

Fiancé?

"I'm sorry Mom....Did you just say the word fiancé?" I ask.

"Yes, and you'll be meeting him right now." She said.

It feels like a thousand stones hit me!

WHY THE HELL MY MOTHER IS PUTTING ME IN THIS STUPID ARRANGED MARRIAGE THINGY?!!!

IT'S STUPID AND I JUST SAID IT!

I'm still calm outside drinking water but I'm in rage deep inside me.

This is just against my will!

After few minutes my so-called potential fiancé finally arrive with his parents.

But what shocks me more is that when I found out who the guy is!

YANG YOSEOB

"Greet them" Mom nudges me.

I stand up to greet them.

"Hello Mr. And Mrs. Yang" I said and bow to them.

Then glared at Yoseob while he just smirked on me.

"It's nice to finally meet you Soyeon." Mrs. Yang said.

"Very pretty like her mother" Mr. Yang said.

I just smile.

I'm not happy! Even they call me pretty a million times.

"Have a seat" Mom said to them.

"I should sit beside Soyeon. We're on the same class at the university" He said and sit on the chair next to me.

Why is he acting like we're close?!!

"Oh that's a good thing then. Is our boy treating you well?" Mr. Yang ask.

I was about to say no but then Yoseob suddenly interfered.

"Of course Dad. I treat Soyeon right" He said.

"Play nice or I'll tell them EVERYTHING I know" He whispered to me and face our parents again.

"See? We're very close" He said and laugh.

I just force a smile.

Damn it!

How could he threaten me like this?

What's his motive for doing this?

I thought he likes Boram but why does he's making our parents get the wrong idea about us.

"It's good then. You two look good together" Our parents said.

Yuck!

Please stop saying its good coz it's never good!

BORAM'S POV

I was looking for Soyeon on lunch break coz she suddenly disappears.

Hyomin told me that Soyeon go outside to meet their Mom.

So now I'm here near the parking area waiting for her to arrive.

I want to give her my new painting.

She said she would love to receive painting from me every day.

I hope she like this one.

While I was sitting on the corner I finally saw Soyeon's car arrive.

I was about to approach her but I stop when I saw someone get out from her car.

I saw then talking but I can't hear what they're talking about.

Why is she with him?

I don't want to have any negative thoughts about what I saw now.

I never know the real reason why they're together anyway and I'm just....

I'm just Soyeon's friend.

I just left and waited for Soyeon on the hallway pretending like I saw nothing.

But no matter what I do I just can't shake it off my head.

She left to meet her Mom but she comeback with Yoseob?

I fix myself and smile when I saw Soyeon approaching.

I tried to be cheerful as I can be right now.

"Soyeonnie" I said and handed my painting to her.

"Oh Boramie. Thank you" She said and smile.

She immediately checks my painting.

"It's beautiful" She said.

"I'm glad you like it....So, how was your lunch with your Mom?" I ask.

"Nothing special. Just a normal lunch and that's why I immediately comeback" She said.

"You should've bring Hyomin with you. It's lonely to drive alone" I said and she giggled.

"You always drive alone" She said.

"That's why I said it's lonely" I said not making it so obvious that I want her to talk about the reason why she came back with Yoseob.

"It's a peaceful ride all by myself way back here" She said.

I just smile.

She's lying

Why does she have to lie?

She could've just tell me that she's with Yoseob.

Why does she need to lie?

QRI'S POV

Wedding or no wedding by tomorrow one thing is for sure.

I'm leaving.

And it's really hard for me to leave.

I tried asking help on my parents but they're just too busy to pay attention.

**sigh**

"Sunyoung unnie still not asking you to stay?" Jiyeon ask me.

We're still here in the cafeteria waiting for Hyomin coz she headed to the restroom but....

How does Jiyeon know about this?

"She didn't tell me. I just heard her talking to you over the phone one night" She said.

Oh...Is she a mind reader?

"And I'm not a mind reader you're just too transparent right for me. Remember when I first figure out that you like my unnie?" She said.

"Yeah...I will leave tomorrow. All that she have to is to ask me but she won't do it. Does she want me to leave?" I ask.

I keep asking myself that too.

"Of course we both know she want you to stay and we also both know the reason why she can't ask you to stay even if she want to. You shouldn't have doubted her." She said.

She talks like she's not going crazy for missing Eunjung.

But what she said is true.

I'm aware why Hyomin can't ask me to stay.

It's because of me.

She worries for me.
