BORAM'S POV

It's already getting dark and I'm still wandering here on the streets.

I wasn't lost.

I wasn't homeless either.

I just want to walk and enjoy the silence in this place before I go home.

It's not that it's noisy at home.

It's just that the kind of silence there is different.

Why I say it's different?

I'm just walking here on the sidewalk.

Just me and my drawing book for few more minutes.

Until suddenly I heard someone running from behind.

**sigh**

I guess the silence already ends.

"Hey kid. You're lost again?" She ask when she catch up to me.

If you think that I know this girl well,...

I don't.

It's just that one day when I was walking here same time as today like I always do, this girl came to me.

And she actually thinks that I'm a lost kid.

Heol.

I never talk to her since that day but here she is pretending that we were close friends.

We don't even know each other's name.

Well, I do remember that she introduces herself before but I wasn't actually paying attention so I don't know her name and since I never talk to her, she doesn't know mine too.

"You love to walk here during this time. Aren't your parents worried? Why do they let you wander in here alone? It's not good for a kid like you." She said while she's annoyingly chewing her gum.

My cousin Eunjung would surely run away from this girl.

Now back to this girl.

Who the hell is she calling a kid?

I wonder if she really thinks that I'm a kid or she's just teasing me for no reason.

I decided to leave her and headed to my car and leave her like I always do.

"Good evening Miss Boram dinner is ready" Ahjumma greeted me when I arrive at home.

"Mom and Dad?" I ask.

"They're not yet home Miss" She said.

What do you expect Jeon Boram?

"Pack the foods and bring it to your family Ahjumma. I'm not hungry." I said and headed straight to my room.

When Ahjumma left to go home the surrounding became even quieter.

This huge house is filled with silence.

A deafening lonely silence.

I do love silence but at the same time I hate it too.

It's hard to explain it but that's just how I feel it.

I just get my sketchpad and start drawing.

I keep drawing till I realize what I just drawn..

"Why you always interfere when I'm on the midst of getting drowned in silence?" I said to the girl that I just unknowingly drawn.

Why am I even drawing her?

I better sleep.

THE NEXT DAY

EUNJUNG'S POV

I arrive early at school as usual.

"Morning..." Qri greeted me.

She is my bestfriend and my cousin.

"Morning" I just replied.

"Did you go in trouble or something?" She ask.

"Nope. I just get damn mad at my nanny and get her fired. She always mess up and you know how I hate mess. If I have to witness everyday I'm going to get sick!" I irritably said.

"Don't exaggerate things Eunjung. No one gets sick because your dirty clothes mixed up with the clean ones." Qri said and laugh at me.

"I'm just being neat." I said and rolled my eyes on her.

"OVERLY neat....You're a hypochondriac" She said.

"No I'm not. You're the one who's exaggerating things" I said.

"Uh-huh and you're the one who's in denial Ms. Student Council President" She said.

"Stop it Qri. I just hate mess. I hate dirt. All of that could make you sick and sickness leads to death don't you know that?" I said and she just laughs at me.

**sighed**

"Here..Put this on my seat. I need to go to the student council office" I said and give her my bag.

"Sure." She said and take my bag.

"And Qri..." I stop her when she was about to get inside.

"I know Eunjung. I'll wipe your chair till it shines. I'll even use disinfectant and put your chair in quarantine to make sure it's dirt free." She said and winks at me.

Ah jinja!

My cousins are weird.

"Just wipe my chair. No need for your crazy ideas" I said and just laugh at me.

I headed to the office.

I'm the President of the Student Council and I own this school.

My Dad gave this school to me.

I have two cousins and those two were the only people I hang out with in this school.

Jeon Boram and Lee Jihyun who is also known as Qri.

Our mothers were sisters.

Boram is a silent type and she likes to draw while Qri loves to teasing people like what she do to me.

Tsk.

**phone rings**

"Hello Dad" I answered the phone.

"Your nanny came to me begging for another chance but it's still up to you Sweetie" He said.

I get tissue and wipe my chair before I sit there.

My Dad is just too kind and easily forgives people.

"No Dad. I won't accept her anymore and besides I'm old enough to take care of myself. I don't need a nanny" I said.

"But Sweetie you n-"

"Dad I can take care of myself. Please" I said.

"Alright if that's what you want." He said.

"Thanks Dad" I said.

"Anything for my princess" He said and we hang up.

I just check some files there before I headed back to our classroom.

"Goodmorning Pres." Park Hyomin greeted me with her beautiful smile.

Though I'd like to greet her back, I don't have the courage to do so.

So I just pretend that I didn't hear her and go to my seat.
