Sana POV

  I woke the next day a bit nervous and excited since today if was my little date with Richard. But to tell you the truth, I wasn’t excited because of Richard. Chewy… I was just glad that she was able to go with me. Maybe I can spend some time with her and further our friendship. ‘I wonder why I felt so happy whenever she was by my side.’ I then got ready for school and made my way out of my apartment but an unexpected surprise waiting for me outside. I couldn’t help be smile. She was stranding by my fence dozing off with her head bobbing slightly. But she still kept her posture and body straight no matter how out of it she was. I went over and decided to play a little prank o her. I snuck up to her until I was really close and hovered my hands around her stomach. ‘1…2…3!’

Sana: Chewy-ah! Wakeie wakie~

I the tickled her near her stomach area and she jolted up quickly and started laughing like crazy, but when I stopped, I couldn’t help but run away a little but ahead of her in case she was going to tickle me back

Tzuyu: Sana! You’ll pay for this!

She then ran to me and we started chasing each other around and then she grabbed a hold of my hand and hugged me by the waist. But the position was little… We were face to face with each other and were only a few inches apart. I never noticed her eyes were this pretty… I couldn’t help but use my hands to cup her face.

Sana: ‘You have really pretty eyes.’

Tzuyu: w-why thank you…You are really pretty too…

 Wait did I say that out loud?!?! This is so embarrassing. I then felt my face getting red and hot and I used my hand to cover my face to avoid chewy seeing how red I was. ‘Why is my heart racing right now… She said I was pretty too…’ But just then chewy let go from the hug and then grabbed my hand and held it in hers and started walking. I felt so happy at that moment.

Tzuyu POV

I really did not know what got into me… I just wanted to get some payback from being tickled…since I was very ticklish… But I ended up hugging her. Our face was this close and I could almost guarantee you, I would almost want to kiss her. But my thoughts were distracted when she said those words... ‘You have really pretty eyes.’ That was when I was confused with myself… those simple words itself made my heart beat fast.

Tzuyu: w-why thank you… You are really pretty too…

I was a bit embarrassed by it and I could have sworn I looked away from her right after I said it. But then I turned back only to see Sana covering her face. Why was she embarrassed, I was the one that said it? But then my heart ached knowing that she was dating Richard. ‘can I be a bit selfish...’ I then took her hand in mine and started walking.

Tzuyu: Come one… Let’s go to school. We don’t want to be late on the first week of school.

Sana shyly nodded her head and I could help but hold her hand a little tighter. We then walked on our way to school and I was just enjoying the moment. Best friends…I felt really uneasy knowing that I was her best friend. Do I really just think of Sana as a friend? Why do I always have these thought… Ever since my talk with Mina, I felt more strange as well. We arrived to our room A1 and I helped Sana to her seat.

Sana: Thank you Chewy~

Tzuyu: Of course, anything for you.

I then saw Sana smile and I couldn’t help but smile as well. I then sat down next to her. Then all of a sudden I Saw a guy outside our class room. He looks okay but He’s wasn’t my type. A whole bunch of girls of my class started squealing as he opened our class door and walked inside. He looked around high and low and he was looking at my direction. ‘Wait can he be?’

Richard: Sana!

He made his way over and jogged to Sana desk and placed his arms on the desk and tried to kiss her cheek. Sana Dodged and I couldn’t help but feel a bit relieved.

Sana: I don’t like doing that stuff at school

I never thought Sana can be so serious.

Richard: Sorry sorry, I just got excited. Are you okay with going out with me today? We have a date and I wanted to go to the movies.

Sana: Mhmm. But is it okay I bring a friend?

Richard: Why do you want to bring a friend?! (in a cocky, smirk way) you have me here and that she be all you need. You know I love you, right?

I couldn’t help but cringe a little of how cocky he sounded. I lowkey and quietly took her hand in case she needed some comfort.

Sana: I just thought that it would be more fun with more people. Oh! And meet Chewy! My best friend! I want her to come with me, if that’s okay with you?

Richard then looked at me long and hard and noticed my basketball keychain.

Richard: you play basketball, right? That key chain is only for people who have done professional club basketball.

Tzuyu: yeah. And my real name is Tzuyu. Chou Tzuyu.

Richard: Ohhhh. I heard some things about you. I was actually in that club to and heard of this amazing underclassmen. But unfortunately, they had to drop out because of personal reasons.

Tzuyu: Yup. That’s me. So, can I come along?

Richard then stared at me for a bit and then he grinned. Somehow, I felt that something was wrong about this guy. He then patted my shoulder.

Richard: Sure. And Tzuyu, let’s play some ball sometime.

Tzuyu: Maybe. I haven’t played for a while so I’m pretty rusty.

Richard: Cool. I’m looking forward to it. He then went to san and held her hand. I’ll see you in afterschool.

He then left and as he opened the door to go to his class, Momo and Mina went in and Richard said hi t them. Momo and Mina just bowed and once he left, I can see Momo’s face turning dark.

Sana: Good morning you guys!

Momo: morning.

Mina: Good morning Sana! And Momo… What’s gotten into you… You’ve been this way all morning.

Momo: Sorry I had no sleep last night doing work and preparing my speech for the public announcement. Mina~ forgive me.

Sana: Thanks for your hard work Momo!

Momo: Of course! Oh and Tzuyu, I have something to tell you since Sana told me that you were joining the dance club. Can we talk outside?

I was confused and I looked at Mina and Sana hoping to get a clue what was going on.

Sana: We can talk as a group Momo! Why the secrecy.

Momo: I also want to do a bit of one on one with Tzuyu! You and Mina became so close to Tzuyu and I’m just the outcast. Poopoo~

Tzuyu: Why don’t we talk at lunch time Momo Unnie.

Momo: OOOOoooO. YOU CALLED ME UNNIE~

Mina: YAH CALL ME UNNIE TOO

Tzuyu: Mina unnie.

Then I saw Momo and Mina jump up and down an I can’t help but laugh. Just a small gesture made them so happy. Maybe being with people isn’t so bad after all. Then I looked at Sana and for some reason she was sulking and pouting.

Tzuyu: Sana Unnie are you okay.

Sana: Don’t talk to me! Go talk to Momo and Mina! Humph~

I couldn’t believe how childish she was but I thought she was really cute. I couldn’t help but laugh. I then leaned closer to her and whisper in her ear.

Tzuyu: But I like talking to you more than Mina and Momo:

Momo: HEY WE HEARD YOU!

Sana then laughed and then hugged me.

Sana: She is mine! And I am the only special person she needs.

I couldn’t believe my ear… For a minute, I started giggling but then I realized that the way I’m feeling is much more than what I think friends should be… ‘I think…I think I’m actually in love with Sana…’

Momo: Okay lovebirds...you can stop now… All this mushy mushy is getting me sick...

Sana: Now you know how I felt last time when you guys were kissing at my house.

Momo: Yeah yeah…But really at least keep it to a minimum.

Sana: I can do whatever I want.
