Chapter: 30

 Whenever I woke up in the morning, I catch Yuri staring at me, or sometimes I feel her beautiful hands tracing my face, I often pretend that I am still asleep, I love what her doing, she’s blabbering some words that I can’t understand, but I sense that all are nicest words intended for me, when I open my eyes, she will smile widely,

“Done admiring my face?” I joked, before she will fight back, but these past few days, she’ll just obediently nod at me, she refuse to make any argument, I know why,  we cross the calendar on the side, we only have two days before the full moon,

“oppa, we only have two days left,” she said in her lowest tone, from that day, she’s been calling me oppa, I have no complain anyways, it sounds extra special that way, ”can you do me a favor?” she asked

“What favor?”

“Can we just stay here today? I don’t feel like going anywhere, let’s just spend the remaining two days here in your room, can you please?” she look up and pout at me,

How can I reject, I’m also going crazy, thinking that we have only 2 days left,

2days=48hours=2,880 minutes=172,800 seconds, I’m going crazy thinking that it’s just this short,

 

I found myself lying  on my bed again, she seductively lied on top of me, I move the strands of her hair that covers her face, she looks at me differently this time, she’s more beautiful up close, our gaze fix with each other,

“Yunho it’s time for school,” my mother went it, she eyes me suspiciously,

“Don’t stand up; she can’t see me anyway, just told her that you can’t go,”

“I can’t go to school, I feel so sick,”

“Really, okay, just eat your breakfast,” she ordered

“Later Umma,” I answered

“Okay,” good thing, she didn’t asked much, I sigh, closing my eyes,

“Do you feel guilty, that you lied to her?” she asked

“N,no,,,”  I answered, I don’t feel like doing anything, anyway

“Good because I am, but I can’t,, “ she continue running her fingers on my face

“What are you doing?” I asked amused, my hearts beats loudly,

“Memorizing your face, so that, even though that my head will forget everything about you, my hands will remember you,,,,” I can hear her crying inside, I knew she is hurting as much as I am,

“Go on, do what you want,” I ordered

“my pleasure,” her hands travelled on my lips, tracing them ,being this close to her, I realize she have this very extraordinary smell, her smell combination of vanilla and caramel, if she chose to remember me using her hands, I’ll chose to remember her using my nose, so that every time that will smell vanilla or caramel I will remember her.

“Can I kiss you?” she plead, “I know it was foolish but can I kiss you?”

“But I will faint right?” I asked

“no you’re not,” she assured,” because it’s my choice and I want it to, that’s the reason why you will not faint,,”

So that’s the reason why I didn’t faint before, because like me she wanted to be kissed

“Why you didn’t tell me before?” I asked, slightly betrayed

“Because I was afraid, afraid for you to see my feelings, I hate it, how we easily attached to our master, to the point that it’s hard for us to let go, and the foolish truth that this special feelings will disappear soon,,”

“If you just tell me earlier,,”  I shift our position now I am the one on top of her,

“Do you have any idea, how I wanted to kiss you?” I told her honestly; in an instance I captured her lips, it didn’t take long for her to answered back,

“I love you Yuri,”

“I love you Yunho,”

We chose to spend these remaining hours hugging each other, kissing, saying I love you over and over again, my mother and sister didn’t asked, and that made me feel okay,

I am happy and lonely at the same time, after eating I go back to my room hugging Yuri in my arms,

Funny though, if my wish failed I am the only who will remember such a different affair, in these two days we reach on a different level, Yuri became my first girlfriend, I have no idea if I will still fall in love like this in the future, I am not confident of myself.

Yet the time betrayed us, it slip without us noticing,,

“It’s time,” her soft voice woke me up,

I stood up to see another beautiful woman beside her, also wearing that colorful yellow genie attire,

“Who is she?” I asked

“She’s also a full moon genie, she’s my friend Sora,” she introduce, I bowed at her,

“Why is she here?” I asked confuse, erasing the thought that she came to pick up Yuri,

“Every time a last wish is made another genie must be present,” she explains. She sight deeply and asked, ”what’s your last wish master,?” I can hear the loneliness in her voice,

“Wait,” I don’t ant to make a mistake, that’s why I wrote my wish on a piece of paper, I just hope it will work, I unfolded the paper and read before them,

“I wish for Yuri to become human because I love her and I want to spend my forever with her, that’s my wish,” I stated,

They are speechless; they look at each other worriedly,

“What are we going to do?”   Yuri asked worriedly

“What now?” I asked

“It will come true but with consequences, “Sora explain

“: what consequences?”

“every rules are stated on the book, it says , it’s all right if genies fall for their master because it will disappear after she accepted another job, but if the human master falls for the genie and stupidly wish for her to become human because of his desire to stay forever,

A series of bad luck will happen,

They will meet again 5 years later,

The genies will lose one of her senses,

Lastly the human master will forget everything about the full moon genie.

“ you know how complicated our rules are,” Sora explain,

“Sora we still have time right, he can make another wish,,” Yuri plead to her friend,

“No, that’s my wish, “I run to Yuri and hug her, ”it’s just five years Yuri, we will meet again, I know it,,”

“But you will forget about me,,” she speak, that’s what she’s worried about, she’s ready to give up her genie life, she’s just worried that I will forget  everything about her,

“trust me, if you showed up to me, I will try so hard to remember every little thing that we did,  all the silliness, all the bickering, all the teasing, all thsoe days that we shared,,"i force a smile at her, pecking her lips,"I love you and you’re the only one in my heart, trust me,,” I caress her hair,

“Okay, you’re wish is my command,” she force to smile,

and my eyes are not deceiving me, i know she's crying,,
