Chapter: 28

We walk home hand in hand, I still didn’t say a word after that hug, she is too, her answers wandering in my head, she knew that it will cause something bad if we reach our master and genie relationship in the next level, I knew she is thinking about it too.

But what will I do, I also didn’t expected it, it just did, like I never expected that I will have this strange opportunity that I still don’t know where it came from and why me, I just saw myself embracing it, to the fact that it was hard for me to let go, now that the last full moon is approaching,

“Yuri when is the next full moon?” I started breaking the ice, she heave a sigh

“At the end of this month, it will be 20 days from now,”

20 days, I only have 20 remaining days to spend with her, how can life be fair and unfair at the same time, I am suffering from an impossible love, because no matter what I do, soon she will be out my life, unless she herself became my last wish,

“Can genies like you fall in love?” I wanted to know if it is possible or not,

“Yes, but those feelings will disappear after the mission or before we get another one,” she answered

“So you saying that you already fell in love before but just don’t remember it?”

“I don’t know, because I can’t remember exactly, the feelings we’re gone, I just read it from the book,”

“Then what if the master fell for Genie,” I asked stuttering, she stops and we look at each other, she gave up and look down,

“That will be bad, it will face a  lot of risk,,”

“Then what if my last wish ,,,,,” she covered my mouth before I say it,

“Don’t, since this is the your last, don’t tell me your wish, ,it will be safe that way,,” she plead,,

 

Our conversation stop on that, I receive the support that I wanted from my family, every training aren’t easy, it will exhaust us up to our inner bones, since I have Yuri with me, I know I depended on her too much, that although we didn’t often talk, I know she’s just there watching me, I wanted all the days go extra slow, or if possible I wanted to freeze the time so that those 20 days becomes 20 year, or if possible I am wishing those 20 days to last forever, but these are all part of my selfish thinking,

I know,

None of these will be possible.

“Spacing out again?”  I didn’t mention that Jaejoong got accepted too, he’s a good friend, Yuri said that’s also the reason why she wanted me to get his name, she sense that we will become a good friend of mine,

“No, just thinking some things,,” I answered

“things or someone,?” he inquire, I laugh a little, my eyes is on Yuri, she stands beside eunhyuk and junsu bickering at a certain dance steps.

“Did you felt cheated?” I asked, truthfully I receive bad treatment from other trainees, saying that I didn’t deserve to be here, since they only showed a tape on my second performance.

“Why did you say so?” he asked confuse

“Because of my taped performance,” shyly I answered, he hit my shoulder lightly

“anio, although I am looking for a realistic one, but that performance worth to watched and be praised, I mean it was you and all your heart performing, like you’re singing to a particular person,,” he was right, I chuckle.,” so I was right,,” he assumed, ”people in love,”

“Is she beautiful? I bet she is, “he asked

“she is more than that,” I answered,” let’s cheers,” hold up high our bottle of energy drink and cheers,

“For our friendship and future career!”
