Chapter 24:

 

 

I didn’t complain the next day, my sister was still down, she said sorry for bothering me, which I immediately accept because it was rare for her to say those words, when my mother arrive they immediately talk about what happened, and there she was crying again, I can see that Yuri is also concerned for her,

“If only I can do something for her,” she whisper, I can see how she is fond of my sister, if she can also see her, I knew they will get along very well, that they will become perfect sister in law? Perfect picture of my wife and sister joining forces against me, I secretly laugh at that thought.

“Why, can’t you do her a favor?” I asked

“Not unless it was wished for her, I can make it come true,,” she answered

“So you’re saying if I wished for her boyfriend to come back to her it will come true?” I want to make sure,

She faces me and explains,” Yes and no,”

“What do you mean?”

“It’s written in the full moon genie book of laws,” she answered

“There are such things?” I asked

“will you let me finished?” she said annoyed, ”although you can wish it, but the affection should be real, because if it’s not it will only last in a month , something like that,, so if you wish for your sister’s boyfriend to come back to her, he will ,however if his heart already belongs to some else, the feeling will be disappeared after the next full moon,,”

“ahh, who invented such kind of rules,?”

“the intelligent and wise genie master herself, so you will just add wounds for your sister if you’re thinking to wish that, she have to make her ways to get his affection back if her really wants to comeback, but according to what I heard that guy is getting married this Saturday,”

“Why every important event must happened on Saturday?” I complain

“Why are you complaining to me?” she raise her brows, she’s cute when she is mad,

“Yuri, what if I wish for someone who’s already dead to come alive?” I was thinking of my dad, she looks at me seriously and spoke,

“That’s one of the most dangerous thing to wish for,”

“What do you mean?” I asked confused

“Wishing someone who already passed away to get back to life, it will just create  a massive mess, it will change everything, it will change the location of your presence, it’s too complicated to make it short,” she answered, I admit I was disappointed,
“no matter where he is , I know he is happy, so don’t worry about your dad,” she told me, she comes to me and holds my hand, I’m so happy that I also gained a friend from her,

 

Finally the much awaited Saturday came we traveled to Seoul, we arrive on the company prepared, but I must admit that the three of us are too tense that we almost pee on our pants.

Well that’s too exaggerating, as we walked in, I never expected that there will  a lot of hopefuls like us, some are practicing on the sides, some comes alone ,some comes in group, I was bothered if we can make it, I mean look at their talents,

“Hyung,,,” eunhyuk whined, he tug on my left arm, you can see that he is too nervous, even I myself, but I just don’t want it to make it obvious, since these two are already showing that they wanted to back out,

“This is it, we can’t back out now, this is our dream and we will make it come true,” I told them

“that’s the spirit,” my genie cheered, never she knows that she’s the reason why I feel so energize and just slightly nervous, we walk to the information, we listed our names and the name of our group,

“dancing machines?” the officer in charge  suspiciously asked,  I heard him laugh together with the two females beside her, I was a little upset by their reaction,” aren’t we worthy of such name?”

“okay prove as later if you are really dancing machines,,” he gave as each other numbers, I was confuse yet before I asked him, he cleared my confusion for me,

“although almost everyone came with a group, we will rate and pick you one by one, you know picking the best from the worst, so if you wanted to stand out from your group, outshine the rest,” he said like it will never heart our feelings, the three of us look at each other and shared our worried looks,” now I can see that you’re done, move aside so that we can finish these applicants,

 

We move to the side, still no one dared to talk, I broke the ice,

“don’t mind what he said, let’s performed what we practice, I believe that everyone each of us, deserve that spotlight, but if there are two people who should be there and worthy to be there, it is the both of you, remember?” I told them, and I am saying it without any resentment, jealousy in me, they dreamed this first before me, these two who might often fight  but they shared the same dream, and I will do anything to make their dream come true,,

 

“you’re so good back there,” me genie spoke, I smile at her, ”you learned a lot, what was the reason that you matured  so fast? She teases

Before I could whisper my answer, a sweet voice cut me,

“Would you mind if I sit here?” I look up to him, he was a guy, yet he has a sweet voice that can melt any woman or a straight like me . I cough and answered

“Ah yes,”

“Thank you,,” he then took a seat, junsu and eunhyuk went to the restroom, and they won’t mind if someone took their seat, I mean they are really idiot sometimes however they are nice human.

“It’s him!!” my genie yelled he is tugging my arms like it will break into pieces,

“What do you mean?” I whisper, glad that he has his earphone on

“you remember the guy that I told you I sat on the bus before???” she said excitedly, glad that I am the only one who see her in this state, flashback of yesterday some in my head, and it angers me,,,

“Asked his name, please?” she beg cutely,

I will not fall for it,

“Please,” she did it again, when did she learn doing this aegyo thing

“Why do you like him?” I asked

“I’m just curious, why ? okay if you don’t ,I will do it myself,” she insist , she release my arm and bend in front of the stranger, while making an evil smile she try to search for his jacket,

“What are you doing?” I whisper

“doing my business,” it irritates me how she continue searching on his jacket, seriously this genie and her this is not a erted act annoys me too much.

“Fine I will do it,” I said that make her stop, the guy was confuse too since I said it out loud, the genie smile at me and cheered

“Are you saying something?” he asked

“My name is Jung Yunho, and I am from Gwanggu and you are?” I asked

“I’m sorry, I didn’t introduce myself first, that so rude of me , my name is Kim jae joong, I live here in Seoul,,” he answered, we shake hands, it’s not that soft like how I imagined it,

“you look familiar have you been in Gwanggu?’ I asked since Yuri insist that she saw him in the bus,

“Yes my mother lives there,” he answered

“And you live here alone?” I asked curiously, I didn’t understand myself that I continue asking him some question where in Yuri just wanted me to know his name,

“Anio, I live here together with my adaptive parents,” he answered

“I’m sorry,” I feel sorry towards him,

“why you are sorry for, I love how big my family is, just sometimes confuse where to spend a specific holiday,” he laugh upon saying those,” how about you?”

“I came here with my friends, I’ve been living with my mother and a sister,” time went by so fast, that I gained a friend from him, until we we’re called to gather on the auditorium

“Good luck to you,” he said

“Same goes to you,” I answered
