Chapter 23:

“Noona! Yun Ji noona!” I called her name while running, it’s already past 10 in the evening when I receive a call from her, she is drunk and she wanted me to pick her up, my mother is out of town, what made her to act this way? I mean she drank, but never once we we’re asked to picked her up, she always appear the bossy and intelligent noona for me, it makes me worried, something happened to her, I’m just praying that she is safe,

“There she is,!” Yuri exclaimed, she is with me the whole time

At long last, we found her sitting in a park,

I tapped her shoulder,

“Noona?”

“Noona?”

“Noona? “ I called, I tapped her shoulder, she then finally looked up, intoxicated like I expected, nonetheless she smile, not the smile out of glee,

“Yunho, my adorable cute brother Yunho,,” I get sick every time she calls me this way, I took a seat beside her,

“What happened?” I asked, hoping that she will tell me,

“Happened? Nothing happened, nothing happened that’s why it ended,,” she answered, sending the loneliness in her voice

“What do you mean?” I asked confuse

She sigh deeply, ”you we’re right no guy will marry me because I am like this, I am ugly, I am fat, I have a bad attitude, I have no manners, I lacked of everything, I don’t even have a father, I mean we don’t have a father,,” I felt guilty, assuming that it was because of me, but I had said those  because i was annoyed I didn’t really mean to,

I cupped her face and wipe her tears, her makeup mess her whole face,

“Noona you’re not, you’re not ugly okay, you’re the prettiest noona for me, and you’re not fat, you’re just right, you’re attitude is unique, because that is you, manners? You cherish your family so much that’s good enough and a father, father never leave us and we have the best mother in the world did you already forget?”

“But my boyfriend for 4 years left me for someone else,” she cried

I actually don’t know what to say, since I never experience that kind of pain yet, I put myself in situation that what if Yuri left me someday, can I be able to handle that?, our relationship will just last for three months while my noona’s relationship with her boyfriend lasted for 4 years yet he still decided to break it, ”noona sorry for being no help for you, but I think you have to move on, if he didn’t love you no more then it will be better for you to move forward,” I told her, I thought that what they said on some dramas about moving on,

“Easier to said, but that’s hard toodo,,,” she whisper

“But if you really want him, get him back, if he comes back he is yours, if he didn’t he is not,,” my genie spoke, she nods at me, she wanted me to say those words for her,

 

“but noona,, if you really want him, get him back, if he comes back he is yours, if he didn’t he is not,,” I told her, she look up to me once again,” but remember whatever happened in the end, me and Umma will always be by your side,,” and I am saying it sincerely, after another round of crying we decided to go home, I carried her in my back while she singing their theme song she said, it was not long after she felt asleep on my back, I wanted to Confront her boyfriend , but she told me it’s unnecessary, she will handle everything her way.

“You’re noona is a good singer,” Yuri spoke, I look at her,

“Better than me?” I asked, a little offended

“Maybe, “she giggles,” I hope she will recover soon.” She said

“Knowing my noona, she will overcome this for sure it’s just a piece of cake for her,” I assured

“But that piece of cake is heart, that controls your whole body and sometimes your brain,” she said, I stop and look at her,

She was right, it was wrong of me to describe her heart as a piece of cake,

“I’m sorry,” I said, her brows twitched

“What for?”

“For being naïve and innocent,” I told her, she smile and ruffled my hair,

“Aigoo, my master is so cute,,” she told me, we start walking again

“Yuri when is the next full moon?” I asked

“This Saturday, that’s also the day of the audition, I have an idea what will be your wish,”

“Really?” I asked amused, she nods,,,

“I really love the lights in here, it’s beautiful” she said gleefully while admiring the city lights

“You’re right it’s beautiful, I said looking at her while she making those cute steps, I never really admired it before, not until this night, I also forgot that I am carrying my sister,  like I was just carrying a thin cloth , I forgot everything, what only matters this time is,
