Dear Journal
Dear Journal,
Highschool, the timeframe where everything happened. It was during highschool when I first got separated with Seungcheol. We had different classes and we barely had P.E. class together. Someone told me that your friends right now, wont last till graduation. Highschool changes people, thus ending and starting friendships. I didnt believe it back then. I believed that Seungcheol will never drift away and leave me alone. That he will still be there even after we graduate.
We had our lunch together as highschoolers for the first time. We found a spot by the stairs, a small corridor that no one went to. We sat there and ate together.
Highschool was our first experience in the real world. Two fourteen year olds experiencing real life for the first time without help. We saw different people, cliques, clubs and it was very diverse. I remember because our school was so big that we both got lost. Thank God that we both had cellphones. I called Seungcheol and found out he couldnt find his classroom as well. I went to him and calmed him down. He panicked because he was all alone. I remember hugging him and patting his back. Since then I walked him to every class for the rest of 8th grade. We only had each other.
During our freshman year, I encouraged Seungcheol to join the basketball team. He was hesitant and wasnt confident of his own abilities. This guy was blind. He was the best basketball player for me back then. Ive always watched his games and he rarely misses a shot. After much convincing and tons of encouragement, I managed to get him to tryouts. Arou
