Dear JournalDear Journal,
As toddlers, my mom told me I never separated with Seungcheol. Given that his mom was bestfriends with mines, we were inseparable. My mom told me there's this one time one girl slammed her fist to my face back in kindergarten and Seungcheol avenged me by hiding her shoes. She cried and for some reasons, I can still remember what her face looked like. Her forehead and eyebrows slowly closed in to the center of her face and her lips eventually turned upside down before she started sobbing. She sobbed really loud. We were four year olds then, Seungcheol probably laughed with me knowing his personality. Gummy smile since 1995.
My mom often took me to his house for playdates and we would play and play till sundown. My mom left me in his house that was about 4 houses down mines. Sometimes, when my mom has work, she leaves me in Seungcheol's house and his mom would take care of the both of us.
I wasnt a problem since they said ive always been happy around Seungcheol. I didnt cry because we just played with each other. Seungcheol shared his toys with me, but never to other kids. I guess thats when we knew we were going to be bestfriends.
Did I mention we learned the alphabet and numbers together? In my house, my parents bought number and alphabet charts. Whenever Seungcheol comes over we would sing the alphabet and counted 1 to 10 together. We also learned to write
