“We’ll take the bus again?”

“Yup.”

“What happened with our cars this time?” Joohyun cocked an eyebrow.

“Nothing. I just feel like taking the bus today.”

 

Seulgi left the room.

Joohyun grunted and brought her coat with her after closing their room’s door behind her.

 

“Hey Joy.” Joohyun greeted when she passed by Joy in the living room. “Where’s Seul?”

“Kitchen.” Joy replied while she plays with the twins.

 

Seulgi was all dressed up when Joohyun saw her.

 

“What are you doing?” Joohyun asked.

“Joy’s to-do list for the twins.”

 

Once she’s done, she posted it on the fridge and went for the main door.

 

“Joy, we’re leaving. You hurt my baby cubs I’ll kill you.” Seulgi said.

“Yeah whatever. I’ve been with them since birth.”

 

The parents went for a kiss and a goodbye but all they got was saliva and babbles.

“Are listening to me?”

“Hm?”

“Seriously? What are you looking at your phone?”

“Nothing.” Seulgi said but she kept on scanning her Instagram feeds.

 

Joohyun snatched the phone from her and—

 

“What the ? Did you just double tapped on a girl in a bikini?”

“I did not! You snatched it so—”

“THIS AN ACCOUNT OF A WOMAN YOU—ooh damn she’s hot.”

“What the hell Kang Joohyun—”

“Don’t even start. Start ordering our food.”

“How ‘bout my phone?”

“Well, you got to see hot people without me knowing so maybe I get to see hot people too?” Joohyun replied as-a-matter-of-factly. “Now go.”

“Hara, don’t squish Bugs too much. You’re gonna kill him.”

 

Joy took the rabbit and placed it away from the twins.

Kihyun and Hara are fraternal twins. Kihyun took Seulgi’s physical attributes while Hara took Joohyun’s. But in terms of attitude—

 

“Ah, you’re really gonna grow up murdering people like Joohyun unnie.” Joy said.

 

Yup. Same as the physical attributes.

 

“Where the hell is that woman?” Joy muttered.

 

As if on cue, Yerim came in.

 

“Oh my God what took you so long? Hara almost killed the rabbit and Lassi ran on Kihyun—and he didn’t even care. Did you know how hard that was?”

“Shut up Youngie.”

 

Joy pouted—only when she’s with Yerim and no one else—and stood up and pulled the younger’s sweater by the hem.

 

“I was lonely.” Joy whined.

 

Yerim gave her an amused expression and engulfed the taller girl in a hug.

 

“I’m supposed to be the one who’s needy and whiny today.”

“Why?” Joy replied while enjoying her girlfriend’s hug.

“I have that cursed subject again.” Yerim groaned.

“Programming.”

“Yup. This time it’s Web Programming. It . I don’t know why they keep putting programming in our curriculum. Aren’t we supposed to be focusing in our major?”

“You have the same problem as Lisa then.”

“Yeah! We’re both complaining our asses to each other about it.”

 

They stayed pressed to each other for a while when Yerim demanded a time from her niece and nephew.

“I didn’t hire you to slack Jennie.”

 

Jennie frowned.

 

“What happened to ‘babe’ or ‘baby’?”

“I didn’t agree with your endearments Kang Jennie.”

“But you didn’t like any endearment I used.” Jennie’s shoulder slumped.

“That’s because you’re not my girlfriend.”

 

Silence.

Jennie may look like a happy-go-lucky but that hurt.

Jennie sighed.

 

“Fine. I’ll work.”

 

Jennie had been trying to woo the coffee shop owner for more than a year now. Sometimes luck is with her but more often, it’s not.

She took the place on the counter to receive orders and she didn’t talk after that.

Or maybe Rose was being eaten by guilt while watching the younger woman.

Wendy slipped inside a gray hoodie that was lying on the bedroom floor and put on a pair of very short shorts that it disappeared under the hoodie.

She walked to the kitchen to get their breakfast ready.

Kyungri walked in sleepily wearing Wendy’s red plaid shirt and slumped her body on one of the chairs with her knees up to her chest.

 

“Still sleepy?”

“Obviously.” Kyungri replied with her eyes closed.

 

Wendy placed two mugs of hot coffee on the dining table and started setting up their breakfast.

 

“What’ll I do without you?” Kyungri said playfully.

 

Wendy just replied her fiancée with a smile and went behind Kyungri’s seat.

Kyungri bended her head backwards to see Wendy.

“You’ll probably burn everything down and just eat take outs every day.”

“Yup…”

 

Kyungri pulled Wendy’s hoodie’s ties to give her a morning kiss.

Which was too long for a good morning kiss.

But still a good morning kiss nonetheless.

Kyungri broke the kiss.

 

“I’m glad you took me away from my boyfriend two years ago.” Kyungri said.

“Glad to be of service.” Wendy gave her a lopsided grin.
