"Seulgi?"

"Yeah?" the bear replied.

"How come you stay home a lot these days?"

"Oh. I asked for a temporary leave. The oldies in the company are making my head hurt."

"I wish I can file a leave with my studies too." Joohyun grunted.

Seulgi scoffed. Her feet was up the center table while an American series was playing on the TV screen.

"I hate your face right now." Joohyun frowned.

"You fell in love with this face."

"Oh please, I've had second thoughts the moment we started dating."

"Heya pretty lady."

"Shut up Kang Taeyeon."

"You’ve got a pretty bum-bum right there."

"Your bum-bum will be upside down if you don’t stop."

Taeyeon felt offended. She wasn’t doing anything but to compliment her classmate.

The ends of her eyes watered and her lips started to quiver.

"TEACHER! PPANY SAID SHE WILL MAKE MY BUM-BUM UPSIDE DOWN IF I DIDN’T STOP!" Taeyeon cried.

The pretty kid sitting in front of her looked incredulously behind her where Taeyeon was sitting. "What?!"

"Tiffany, why did you tell Taeyeon that?"

"But she said my bum-bum was pretty." the five years old Tiffany said.

The teacher approached Taeyeon. "Taeyeonie, you can’t just say someone's bum-bum is pretty okay? That’s rude."

"Why is it rude?" Six years old Taeyeon has stopped crying.

The teacher paused.

How is she supposed to explain the issue without involving malicious adult things in it?

"I’ll tell you when you’re on the right age okay?"

Small Taeyeon nodded.

"Now say sorry to Tiffany." the teacher said.

"Sorry Ppany." Taeyeon mumbled.

The little girl Ppany smiled, her eyes shaping into crescents.

"You're with me almost every day. Isn't it making Seulgi unnie angry at you again?" Yerim giggled.

"No. We’ve got our deals sealed the last time we talked. So she knows what I’m doing."

"What deal?"

"Shush." Joy whispered as she continued to waltz with the younger girl. "Stop asking anymore questions."

Yerim keeps stepping on her sock because it was too big on her feet—it was Joy's, so it isn’t really a surprise.

After watching Beauty and Beast, Yerim insisted that they should dance the OST of the movie.

"Ariana sang the OST!" the youngest Bae reasoned out.

Yerim, as an Ariana Grande fanatic, asked Joy to dance with her in the middle of the living room while the movie credits was rolling, along with Ariana and John Legend's voice coming from Yerim's phone.

"What are the socks for?" Joy asked.

"I'm cold."

Joy frowned. "It's summer."

Yerim hummed against Joy's shoulder. "It still feels like spring to me."

“Stop staring.”

“Only if you stop staring.”

“I’m only staring because you keep staring.”

“Well, guess what? We’re on the same page.”

“Ugh. I hate you.”

Seulgi smirked.

“Have you watched ‘13 Reasons Why’?”

“No. But I’ve read it.”

“Great. Tell me what it is about.”

“I forgot half of the story already.”

Joohyun huffed. “You’re so dumb.”

“God, this day is so boring!” Joohyun groaned.

“Joy said if I’m getting Bugs a partner.”

“Why?”

“You know... how bunnies are…”

Joohyun stared at her wife.

“Your ing brain just always automatically goes down to something ual, does it?”

“Joy asked! It’s not my fault!”

“You’re considering it.”

“I’m no—”

“No explanations needed.”

“I swear—”

“Shut up.”

Seulgi stopped.

Joohyun snuggled herself in her wife’s side and put Seulgi’s arm around her shoulder.

“Open up Netflix, peasant! Let’s watch ’13 Reasons Why’!” Joohyun exclaimed.

Seulgi glared at the human bunny beside her.

“You’re so gonna get some punishment tonight.”

“I know right. So I better make this my-wife-is-my-peasant worthwhile.”
