“How awesome can I get?” Seulgi boasted.

Joohyun rolled her eyes at this. “You never change. And you forgot my favorite Disney story.”

“No I didn’t. You were in it all this while. I guess you never knew.”

“What? When? How?”

“Later.”

 

Seulgi pecked her wife’s lips before going in the shower.

Joohyun stood in front of their dressing table.

 

“YAH KANG SEUL! THIS IS ISN’T A ING DUTCH BRAID, YOU IDIOT!”

 

Joohyun frustratingly fixed her hair.

 

“What the . Why did she freaking tie it so tight.” She muttered.

“Excuse me, what seems to be the problem here?”

Jennie Kang’s usual face froze.

 

“I-I didn’t see her Rose. I bumped into her accidently and—everything just spilled onto her clothes.” Rose’s employee explained.

“Get inside and rest for a while. You’ve been working since midnight. I’ll take care of this.”

 

The employee left.

 

“I’m terribly sorry Ma’am. We’ll pay your ruined clothes.” Rose said politely.

Jennie broke out of stupor. “Do you not know me?”

Is she popular or something? Rose thought. “Uh, am I obliged to, Ma’am?”

How can she ing insult me and call me ‘Ma’am’ so politely after? “Seriously?”

 

Rose nodded.

 

“My sister will hear about this.” Jennie glared and hissed.

 

Then she left.

Rose shook her head slowly.

 

“That’s one weird woman.” She said.

“Bae Yerim! Your lover girl’s here! STOP SLACKING OFF!”

“Joy downstairs. She’s looking for you.”

Jisoo’s eyebrow shot up. “You don’t want to meet her?”

“What’s with the emphasis?”

“To let you know that you’re looking like a ‘trying-hard’ girl.”

“I’m not.”

“Oh come on. I know Jaehyun’s gay.”

 

Yerim didn’t speak up.

 

“Come down now Bae Yerim.”

 

Jisoo took a one more look at their youngest.

 

“She’s bringing flowers… and chocolate pudding.”

 

Yerim hesitated.

 

“Tell her to wait.”

“Which flavor do you like?”

“Uh, the pink one.”

“Shall we buy a lot?” Wendy grinned.

“Yes!”

While Wendy was picking every ice cream from the fridge, Kyungri noticed a woman eyeing her girlfriend maliciously.

 

“Ugh. erts everywhere” Kyungri mumbled under her breath.

 

She hugged Wendy from behind which startled the shorter girl.

 

“This is PDA, you know.” Wendy smiled.

“I don’t care. That ert of a woman is undressing you with her stare.”

“She can only look, Riri.” Wendy said, she’s still busy picking ice cream.

 

Wendy’s been there for two minutes. The cashier was already suspecting her of shop-lifting.

 

“Only I can look at you like that Son Seungwan.”

 

O my God. She’s at it again. Wendy sighed internally. She’s having goosebumps all over her nape to her shoulder and Kyungri’s lips is dangerously starting to pepper kisses.

 

“Okay. I’m done. Let’s pay this now.”

 

It’s one armful of ice cream.

 

“Is this all?” the cashier asked blandly while chewing on his gum.

“Uh,” Wendy took a lollipop from the counter added it in. “Here.”

“Is that all?” the cashier asked again.

“Yes.”

 

Once they came back to Kyungri’s apartment building.

 

“Ri, at least wait ‘til we’re inside of your flat. Control your hormones woman.”

“I can’t.”

“I holding a bag of ice cream.” Wendy exclaimed.

 

Kyungri didn’t reply. Instead, she was doing her part to their make-out session.

 

“.”

 

Wendy fumbled with her keys.

 

“Stop for a while!” Wendy shouted.

 

Kyungri was stunned and Wendy successfully opened the door. She went inside and placed the ice creams in the fridge and noticed her girlfriend wasn’t with her.

Wendy went back by the door.

 

“Aw, don’t cry Riri.” Wendy wiped her girlfriend’s wet cheeks.

“I’m sorry.” Kyungri’s voice cracked.

“No no, there’s nothing to be sorry about. I wasn’t angry at you in the first place.”

“I thought I pissed you off already.” Kyungri sniffed.

 

Wendy pulled her inside and cradled her lover’s crying face in her hands.

 

“Nah. I thought it was hot.”

Kyungri’s eyes brightened up. “Really?”

 

Wendy kissed her girl.

“Tell me now!”

“I told you to wait. I just came out of the shower Kang Joohyun.”

“But I can’t. What’s the Aladdin story?”

“Ah, if only you aren’t cute and pretty.”

 

Seulgi lied down on their bed—with only her robe on—and Joohyun automatically huddled beside her.

 

“What now?” Joohyun asked.

“Don’t you think our story is a little bit like Aladdin’s?”

“How?”

“I was a thief back in high school. A poor girl with nothing but herself and her family. While you—a typical —I mean rich girl with a very rich Daddy.”

“I get that part. But I won’t let you off because you called me a .” Joohyun slapped her wife’s stomach.

“AW! THAT HURT! MY ABS!”

“Shut up and continue your story!”

“Aish.” Seulgi scoffed.

 

Seulgi scooted closer her put her legs on Joohyun’s.

 

“I’m Aladdin, you’re Jasmine.”

“Where’s the Genie and the villain?”

“Well, somehow, your Dad can be the Genie and the Villain at the same time. I’ve always been so thankful to him for his help.”

 

Silence.

 

“What if we swap life status? What would you do?”

“I’d leave.”

“How heartless.”

Seulgi laughed. “No. I mean, I’d be Hercules.”

“Aw, you ing sweet woman.”

Seulgi smiled. “I’d leave everything for you.”
