“So you’re telling me, that you still like Kyungri?”

“Yeah.”

“Why did you let her go then?”

“What?” Joohyun asked.

“I mean—we just started our relationship and I don’t know what to tell her to actually have a valid reason for her not to go—”

“Okay okay.” Joohyun cuts. “You’re blabbering. You’re talking too much. In short, you’re over-thinking things. Just tell her you like her.”

“But that’s the point!” Wendy exclaimed. “I don’t think I like her—”

“Are you ing messing with me?”

“Just let me finish talking first. I’m done liking her.”

 

A pause.

 

“You mean you love her?”

“Well—I’m close to that.”

“That was fast.”

“I know. That’s why I’m telling you I don’t know what to tell her. I’m scared that it’s going too fast.”

“Well, you lost her anyway.”

 

Joohyun felt bad for being blunt.

Wendy looks like she’s about cry.

“Did you find a donor?”

“Yeah.”

 

Seulgi flopped on the couch while her wife stood at the kitchen doorway.

 

“What does he look like?”

“You won’t believe me if I tell you he looks like a replica of me.” Seulgi grinned.

Joohyun rolled her eyes. “What’s his name?”

“Jeon Wonwoo.”

 

Joohyun sat on Seulgi lap.

 

“You sure you want this? I’ve seen how you reacted the first time you met Rose’s niece.” Joohyun let out a small smile.

“I’m sure. I do want a little devil running around the house when I come home.”

“Do you want a boy or a girl?”

“Either.”

“If it’s a boy, what’s gonna be his name?”

“Kihyun.”

 

Joohyun looked her her wife in amazement.

 

“You’ve been thinking about this don’t you?” Joohyun asked.

“Yes.” Seulgi kissed the tip of her nose.

“If it’s a girl?”

“Hara.”

“If both girls?”

“Hara and Haru.”

“That’s very creative.” Joohyun deadpanned.

Seulgi laughed. “I’m serious!”

“If both boys.”

“Kihyun and Kiyoung.”

“Oh come on! This like high school all over again!”

 

Byulyi went inside and looked for her equally hyped best friend.

 

“They look ridiculous.” Joohyun said.

“That’s why they’re friends.”

Wendy was supposed to feel happy.

Not get surrounded in a room full of in a relationship lesbians.

 

“Hey Wanda, you okay?” Joohyun asked.

“Yeah.” Wendy replied.

“You sound sad.”

“Anyone will if you’re the only one in the room with a single status.”

 

Joohyun stopped.

 

“Well, I invited someone hoping that you both could talk it out. But she’s still not here. Are you willing to wait and not get drunk?”

 

Wendy frowned but waited anyway.

“I thought Wendy and Kyungri are over?” Byulyi asked.

“Yup. But Wendy’s loves her so I’m being a fairy-god mother to her.” Joohyun said.

 

The only ones sober is Byulyi, Joohyun, and Rose.

 

Jisoo and Lisa are being weird—like a professional level of weirdness.

Jennie kept on flirting with Rose which the latter ignores—but Jennie continues anyway.

Yongsun is asleep.

Wendy and Kyungri are ‘talking’ with unnecessary wandering hands involved.

Joy and Yeri are being the fluffiest drunk couple at the moment—Joohyun was thankful that they weren’t the ‘wild’ couple when drunk.

Seulgi’s face is stuck in Joohyun neck.

 

“I just realized that we’re gonna bring this s to their respective houses.” Byulyi said.

“Jisoo, Yeri, Lisa and Joy can stay here.”

 

Silence.

 

“Is Jisoo trying to balance that chicken leg on her shoulder?” Rose frowned at the sight.

“Not the first time she did it.” Joohyun shrugged.

Joohyun put a glass of water and a painkiller medicine on the bed-side table.

 

“I know—I just—my head really hurts.”

 

Suddenly, there’s a shout from the living room.

 

“UNNIE! JISOO THREW UP ALL OVER YOUR CARPET!” Yeri shouted.

“SHUT UP!”

 

Joohyun sighed.

 

Seulgi groaned. “It’s too early for this .”

“There medicine there. I’ll just check the kids.”

 

Seulgi stopped.

She knows she shouldn’t be thinking right now because her head is being ty.

 

“I’ll just check the kids…” she repeats Joohyun’s words.

 

And Seulgi smiled like a lovesick idiot and a blush creeping up her face.
