It was the second period in the school. Chanyeol was absent today. Kyungsoo, knowing his habits, must have stayed up late with his clan on one of his games. He presumed that the taller boy would show up after lunch. Until then, he was alone.

With the seat beside him, set at the back of the class, empty, Kyungsoo entertained himself by gazing out of the celestial window. He started the day horribly, earning the hostility of both his sisters, and now, his best friend was absent. And since he doesn't classes with Luhan, he had no one to vent to. Nor that he knew if anyone would listen to him.

He planned to go to the computer room and charge the phone there for the entirety of break time.

Kyungsoo's eyes travelled from the view of the sky and the fields outside to the opposite side of the room; to the upper right corner, where a certain eye-catching boy sat, absorbed in the lesson.

He noted that Jongin did not notice him; from either roll call and the entirety of the first two lessons. As if nothing happened – he wasn't sure whether to be relieved by it, or be disappointed. He saw the golden grant button of the wish app glisten as he made his foolish, and dangerous wish. He just brushed it off, allowing the recollection to blow in the wind, as it seemed impossible either way. The hearts of people were stubborn; he knew that because of himself. There was no way the boy he idolised so much would suddenly centre his world around him, like true couples do.

Kyungsoo held his head in his hands and sighed. It all started weigh heavily upon him again.

“What can I do for them to forgive me?” he asked himself, his eyes travelling back up to the skies, “tell me, what can I do?” he asked to those above, the ones beyond the window, “heh” he laughed bitterly, “it's not like you helped me that much when you were alive.” He turned away from the window, growing increasingly upset with the idea of remembering and mourning.

At break time, he swept the books back into his backpack and proceeded to walk out of the classroom. Before he could cross the line to the corridor, a voice called out to him:
