“Minho-ah! I'm back, ” Jonghyun called when he was back from work. He was eager to see Onew again. The yearning feeling for Onew dragging him to the bunny cage. He peeked inside the cage and saw three bunnies.

“Oh…hyung?" a low voice coming from one of the doors startled him. He turned to the direction of the voice and saw minho.

" Minho-ah, is onew one of these bunnies?"

The younger chuckled "nope, Onew ssi is in the storage room. He's helping me cleanup".

Minho left the door behind him open and headed over to the table behind Jonghyun. He gathered the stuff that were supposed to be placed in the storage room and after collecting the stuff; he went back to the room, leaving the door ajar and when he was completely inside a head popped out, it was onew's

"Jonghyunnie!!!"He smiled before running to his owner, tripping into nothing but air on his way, fortunately Jonghyun was able to catch him, given that he was already close to him.

"Be careful!" the owner snapped, worried

Jonghyun helped him up, but before Onew could straighten himself up, he pounced at Jonghyun, making him step back dangerously and he bumped against the table behind him. The table shaked along with the things on top of it. Jonghyun tipped my head to his direction and gave him a baleful glare.

"Seriously! Can you not crash into me every time you see me? Why do you keep doing that?"

"It's because I love jonghyunnie~" he said with a hint of sadness in his voice. Jonghyun ignores it, but he felt his face turning red at the confession. ‘I cannot let him see me like this,’ he thought as he turned away and went to the rabbits. He cooed at the rabbits, pretending to play with them. He was trying to ignore Onew and hide his blushing face

"Jonghyunnie, you really love rabbits huh?" Onew asked, feeling sad for being ignored

"Of course I love rabbits” he realized what he had just said, it was like he was trying to say he loved onew back and if it was possible he could have sworn he flushed a lot more red at his confession “ah, I mean… uhmm obviously I love the actual ones." He stuttered, missing hurt on onew’s face 

"What about me?" the pet asked with expectancy.

"You?” jonghyun, not wanting to be embarassed said “you are annoying, unlike these rabbits here," he points at the rabbits again "you're a pain in the neck" then he chuckled. It wasn’t entirely true. Onew is a pain in the neck, but he is a pain Jonghyun does not wish to go away, "While these rabbits stay cute and quiet you, on the other hand goes 'jonghyunnie I want chicken!' all day... It’s too noisy" he smiled softly, not finding it annoying at all.

Onew who can’t see Jonghyun’s expressions however is mortified. "But I told minho-ssi, you like me..." he said frowning.

"What?!" Jonghyun yelped "why'd you tell him that?! Go tell him it’s not true! Now!" he said. He was afraid that his friend would take it the wrong way and think that he is gay. He pushed Onew and told him to go tell Minho what he said was not true, but Onew didn’t let him "But Jonghyunnie, it is true..."He mumbled as he struggled from his owner’s pushes.

"NO ITS NOT!" The other snapped, sighing in relief when the other finally did as he told. Onew didn't tell minho anything though and since jonghyun didn't ask him if he did, he stayed quiet.

That night, onew was fighting the urge to cry and slept with his back facing jonghyun. The other completely oblivious of what he has done.
