Hot summer night, I want to be with you

I want to walk the cool riverside with you

Bring the picnic mat and badminton racket

Mosquitos stay away, just wear whatever it's fine

Instead of the air conditioning in your room

Breathe in the night air, it's like taking a shower

The only haven in this cold city

I want to stay in your arms, looking up at the sky

"Ah, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!" She was feeling very much like the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, scared of getting punishment from the Queen of Hearts.

Or in this case, her bestest friend who had recently become her girlfriend. 

Of three months. Whenever another month passed, she couldn't help but feel all giddy inside.

When she joined JYP as a trainee, she looked forward to making friends who had similar dreams. She didn't expect any romance of the sort. Least of all with her loud annoying best friend, who was quite shy about matters of the heart. And yet, funnily enough (ironically too, can't forget about that), it was her shouted confession that got them to where they are now.

"Kee kee kee." Sookie giggled to herself at the thought.

What was she thinking again? Oh, right!

Now all she needed was the bunny ears, red blazer, and golden pocket watch.

"Oof!"

Sookie accidentally ran straight into someone, making the both of them fall on their butts.

"Ow! I'm so sorry!" She quickly rushed to help up the rather tall girl. A trainee perhaps? She was definitely one of their foreigner trainees. And she was really pretty too... "This is why I shouldn't run in the halls, huh? Ha ha! Gwenchanayo?"

"... I'm fine, thank you." Her accent was cute too, heol...

"That's a relief. Sorry again!" Sookie left after bowing again, lightly jogging towards the stairs. Jisoo's going to give me an earful, she thought with chagrin.

Didn't she just say that she shouldn't run in the halls? What a forgetful shortie, Tzuyu thought with a shake of her head, continuing on her way to the practice room. Very sunny though...

I'm getting hungry, how about cup noodles and sausages?

With you, even a convenient store is like a restaurant, come on

Jihyo did give her an earful. Pulling on her cheeks to boot.

"5 minutes late is one thing, but the dumb bear is 15 minutes late."

"I'm sowwwyyy~" Sookie whined pitifully, teary eyed.

"And..?"

"I won't do it again~"

"You'll meet me on time?"

"Earlier!"

"Good."

Jihyo let Sookie's cheeks go with a satisfied grin.

"My face hurts, Jisoo~"

"Then don't be late next time."

"Jisoo should give me a kiss so I could feel better~" Sookie cooed teasingly.

"Kiss yourself, you Pabo bear." Jihyo turned around with a huff, trying to hide her blush.

"Aww, why would I do that?" She then started grinning impishly. "I'll kiss Thomas instead." Surprising Jihyo, she trapped her in a back hug and planted an affectionate kiss on her cheek.

"Wha-"

"Kee kee kee, let's go!"
