'Rin. Rin, please wake up' I begged.
'Where am I?' he groaned holding his head.
'You're back home' I said.
'How? I don't remember anything'
'Mephisto went to the Vatican with you and convinced the members that your powers can be used for good rather than evil' explained Yukio.
'So everything's fine? I don't have to worry anymore?'
'You're still being watched, you have to learn how to control your powers so you won't be overcome when you use them' I said 'they still don't properly trust Mephisto'
Rin sighed and lay back down.
'But hey, at least you're back home'
'And he can go back to wherever he came from'
'Bon stop, he's been cleared, the vatican believe him now'
'They don't, they just don't have any other choice. I'm not so easily swayed'
'Come on, let's just go' said Neko.
'Yes, I think that would probably be best' I said not looking at them.
'How can you defend him still?'
'You saw what he did and you know he wouldn't hurt any of us. You were his friend before you knew about him being a demon, why can't you be friends now?'
'Forget it' and he walked out without another word

The next day we went back to class and when we walked in the whole class suddenly went quiet.
'Just ignore them Rin' I whispered 'they don't matter'
'They do matter Ayumi, remember what Yukio said, exorcists have to stick together. If we argue between ourselves then how can we possibly win agaisnt the demons and Satan himself'
I sighed 'you're too good for your own good Okumura'
Rin winked 'you wouldn't want me any other way Umichan' he said as he walked over to them. I tried my best to listen to the conversation.
'What do you want?'
'I want us to still be friends' Rin said 'can we?'
'I was never your friend, I just couldn't get rid of you. Now I can.'
'Shima, Neko do you feel the same?' he asked but they didn't reply 'guys, come on, you still ike me right?' still no answer 'fine then, I get it' he turned and walked back to his seat.
'Don't worry about it Rin' I said and he sighed.
I felt so sorry for him.

After class I caught Neko on his own.
'Hey are you okay?' I touched his shoulder and he nearly jumped out of his skin 'hey calm down, it's just me'
'Oh...sorry Ayumi...' he said.
'That's okay, what's the matter?'
'Nothing I just thought...' I frowned.
'You thought I was Rin?' he nodded 'would it have mattered if I was?'
'No...I...I don't know' he stuttered.
'Leave her we have to find him' a strange voice whispered.
'Did you hear that?' he shook his head'
'Hurry up she's getting suspisious'
'Neko what's going on...what is that??'
A massive raven like creature appeared behind Neko.
'It's too late to wait, accpet me now and together we'll destroy the son of Satan!' it screeched.
'Neko RUN!' I shouted but it was too late. The monster enveloped him and disappeared.
'Umichan, what's going on?' Shima ran over to me.
'A demons got Neko. It wants to kill Rin. We have to save them'
'How are we going to do that?'
'I have no idea let's just go'
