Jungkook's POV

There was a moment of silence in the air. 

Jimin came closer to me and looked straight into my eyes. 

I clenched my fist and waited for him to answer. 

"What... If... I... Don't? "

I slightly tilted my head to the side and released my hand.

"So, ... You don't like her? "

Jimin smiled and slightly shook his head.

"No, I'm just getting really along with her. Besides, it was just a coincidence that I bumped into her. What were you thinking?"

"Oh..umm..n-nothing. Just it was weird seeing you here at her house."

"Come let's go. The rest of them would be mad if we don't get to practice on time."

Jimin wrapped his arm around my neck and ruffled my hair.

"Yah! I'm not a little kid you know?"

"But you are the maknae."

"Aish!"

As we were heading our way towards the park, I stopped and turned around to Jimin.

"Hey, so... why didn't you come to school today?"

Jimin rubbed the back of his head awkwardly and shook his head.

"Well, today I didn't feel good. So, I thought, why not go to the park to get some fresh air? As I was passing by the park, I saw (Y/N) walking alone......so,.I walked with her to her house, to at least have some company with her."

I looked at him and felt my heart drop.

"Oh.. well... that's nice of you."

I gave him a weak smile and off we went to the park.

Was he telling me the truth or is he hiding something?

Jimin's POV

Ugh, I feel so bad about myself. I just don't want to upset him. If I told him the truth, he would probably be upset about it and might ruin our friendship.

As practice was over, everyone gathered around to sit. Each of us was soaked in sweat and panting hard.

Jin: "*Pants* So... *huffs*.. who is ready for the tournament?"

Suga:"*pants* I'm always ready!"
