Four.
The Moment.
I’m pretty sure this is illegal, yeah, this is definitely illegal but I couldn’t bring myself to care as we clambered beneath a hole in a fence and into a closed fair ground. She turned to look at me as she reached for my hand, which I laced with hers and she pulled me further into the dark fair ground.
She dragged me towards a particular ride, letting go of my hand after she had pulled me onto the platform and ran towards the ticket box. I stood their awkwardly as she disappeared after ducking down and then the lights flickered on.
The merry-go-round began to turn and she was back, crashing into me as the familiar music began to play. The light hit her in such a way that I was again breathless, what was wrong with me? She pushed me towards one of the horses and I hoisted myself onto one, when I turned to look at her she was climbing onto the same one.
“Wait,” I pleaded with her as she straddled the horse the wrong way “I’m pretty sure that’s dangerous.”
“You’ll keep me safe right?” She said gripping the pole between us “So what’s the problem?”
“Pretty sure this is illegal too.”
“You’re pretty sure of a lot of things Kyungsoo,” She smiled at me “But relax, okay? Nothing will happen.”
“Can I ask you a question?”
She nodded “Go ahead.”
“Why me?”
She frowned and moved closer, her legs tucking between mine as she rested her head against the pole “Why not you?”
“Because you don’t know me.” I pointed out the obvious.
She giggled “That’s just it though Kyungsoo,” She reached out and touched my cheek gently “We’ll get to know each other.”
I had never made the first move before, but I leaned closer and captured her lips. I felt her smile against mine as she kissed me back and I knew in that moment I was in deep, deep trouble.
I shouldn’t have come to University today, especially after the night I had. I hadn’t gotten back until four in the morning and I realised I had five missed calls off the guys and a couple of texts asking me where I was.
So when I sat down in the cafeteria and I noticed the smile
