One.
The Moment.
I’ve been listening to Baekhyun drone on about his girlfriend for the past three months and let me tell you, it wasn’t fun at the beginning and it’s certainly not fun now. In fact he makes me want to hit him even more than usual and believe me, that’s a regular occurrence.
Today is no different.
“No man listen to me,” Baekhyun smacks me on the chest without a thought and I glare at him as if I hadn’t actually been listening to what he has been saying for the last three god damn months “She’s got this thing where she’s just about to –”
“For crying out loud!” I finally snap and Baekhyun jumps in his seat as Chanyeol and Jongin burst out laughing opposite us “I don’t want to know Baek. Honestly I don’t want to have to look your girlfriend in the face knowing every god damn detail of your relationship!"
“You so owe me,” Jongin turns to Chanyeol with a grin “Cough up, Yeol.”
“What?” Chanyeol turns to gape at him “Oh come on! I forgot all about that!”
“You’ve been betting on me again haven’t you?” I asked them and they flinched “Are you serious?”
“Yeah but Soo,” Jongin clears his throat and straightens up, a tell of Jongin’s that tells me he’s about to come up with some elaborate excuse for betting on me “You practically blow up at Baekhyun on a regular basis it would be a shame if I didn’t try to make money from such an amusing event.”
“Wow, thanks.” Baekhyun grumbled.
I shook my head with anything but amusement “Maybe you’ll enjoy knowing what Mina looks like when she’s about to do whatever it was he was about to say and then look her in the face the next time we see her.” I grab my bag and stand up.
“Aww come on Soo,” Chanyeol pleads with me “You know we’re just having fun.”
“I’m just not in the mood to listen to this idiot again,” I jab a thumb at Baekhyun who is now trying to hold back a grin “Seriously Baek, three months. Three god damn months!” With that I spun and left the cafeteria, totally exhausted with my friends and their lack of manners.
