Prologue

Once upon a time, there lived a princess who fell in love.

But, let me warn you now; this is not your typical love story.

This – whatever this is – is anything but typical.

But, we must ask ourselves, why is that? What makes this so different from any other love story?

Is it because there is no prince charming? No knight in shining armor? No damsel in distress?

Is it because this tells the story of two women who fall in love?

Unfortunately, that seems to be so.

This – two woman falling in love – is anything but typical.

And so, this is the story of two women who fall in love in the wrong place – at the wrong time.

But the most important thing to remember is not that they are women or that they fall in love. It is that they fall together.
