I have sinned in my past lives, haven’t I? Ravi moaned to himself, swearing he would kill Ken the next time he saw that brat. Why the HECK would a dentist go to a candy store anyways?

Ahhh and the Gummy-bear-kid knows I’m a dentist now, at a Candy store… my life as I know it is over!

“May I be of assistance?”
It was Ken, popping his head around the screen at the back, approaching the scattered instruments on the floor.

“You! You may get your out of here,” hissed Ravi, who was tempted to kill that squirt right on the spot. Ahhh this is so embarrassing I could die. “Give that to me,” he tried to grab the prober out of Ken’s hands, but the other just tutted and stepped out of his reach.

“Needs to be washed, Wonshikah~ You can get rid of me later.” He nodded pointedly at the cross-armed Hyuk, clearly judging them big time, and the clueless N, whose gaze went back and forth between the brawling Dentist and assistant.

*ehem*
Time to get back to business.

“Who’s the patient?” Ravi asked, just to break the silence.

“That one, obviously,” Hyuk kicked Hakyeon forward, just to be shot back with a stank face (which he was fully immune to, btw).

“But wait-” interrupted Hakyeon, “Who’s the dentist?”

“Me? Obviously?” Ravi raised an eyebrow that the short tall-but-not-as-tall-as-the-others guy.

“You’re not a dentist,” Hakyeon protested, “You’re an angel.”
Ravi reddened. Is this guy for real?!

“You’re the angel from Candy Kingdom.”

“Right.”
Sanghyuk was quick to catch on, “Imma leave now before this gets any cheesier. I can’t stand cheese. Any kind of cheese. *pukes*”

And with that, Ravi was left alone with the Byeongshin of a best friend/assistant and the guy who didn’t know how to draw a line when hitting on him.

“Nah- buh, reely; yah dun look lyk a dentish ah all~” N was still talking with his mouth wide open- no, it takes more than that to shut Hakyeon up, Ravi would soon learn.
“Ah mean, dentish look old and warty-”

"What?!"

(If I were you, Ravi, I’d have given up trying to convince the guy otherwise a long time ago. Just take it as a complement, goddamnit. But of course Ravi must protest, because he is Kim Ravi after all.)

“First off, just coz your old dentist may have been old (and warty) it doesn’t mean all dentists are old (and warty); and secondly, I am indeed a dentist. I have got my license and everything, if you wanna check all the legal-”

N just waved his arms to shut him up. Who’s interested in legal stuff? Ah Jinjja!

“And I am NOT an ang-”

“Ravi.” Jaehwan cut across the idiot who was stupid enough to get side-tracked by a patient’s hollow words, “Just see what’s wrong with the guy’s mouth, correct it, and send him home,” Ken felt like face-palming, “without carrying out this useless argument.”

“But I can’t get anything done because he keeps talking,” complained Ravi, like he didn’t know how to stop that.

“Then… tell him to shut up!” Ken was rolling his eyes at the plain obviousness.

Right.
“Shut up?”

Hakyeon shut his mouth, looking like a wounded puppy.

“No no no, open your mouth, I need to examine it-”

Was this guy for real? He’s acting a total kid.

“Do you need my help?” Jaehwan offered, calling Ravi aside for a second and whispering something in his ear, while Hakyeon watched with narrowed eyes. Ravi nodded and came back to N’s side, a weak smile playing on his face.

“Be a good boy, open your mouth, and when daddy’s I’m done, daddy I will buy you a lollipop.”

Ravi regretted the words as soon as they were out of his mouth, and that was before he knew exactly what would come out of them.
