*clatter*

Once again, Ravi succeeded on dropping all the instruments on the table top. Alice has come, the thought popped up ridiculously as a blush spread across his face. Panicked, he bent down at the speed of light, picking up the gadgets (and dropping them all over again), refusing to let ‘Alice’ see how red he’d gotten. 

“Yah~ People these days don’t even have the decency to look at people talking to them?” scoffed N, as he invited himself further into the room and sat on the dentist’s stool, crossing his legs in a lady-like manner, not having the decency himself to help Ravi pick up the mess he’d made. (What evs~ that ain’t the work of a queen~)

Several minutes in which Ravi didn’t realize he’d been staring at the queen boy who’d just entered passed, (‘Does he have a…’) till he heard a “*cough*RUDE*cough*” from said queen.

Ravi blinked. Why is it so easy to imagine a cat’s tail on him?

“You’re staring…” observed Hakyeon, “Are you in love?”
(No, N knew no boundaries.)

*ehem*
A few moments of embarrassed silence later (save the noisy clatter that soon followed N’s words), Hakyeon asked again: “Do you believe in love at first sight?”

That’s when Jaehwan in the nick of time came to the dentist’s rescue (Ravi should consider giving him a pay-raise, he was finally becoming of use), popping up from nowhere and bustling over to N, pushing him away to the side:

“You… come with me,” he shoved ushered the troublemaker away, much to the relief of Ravi, who couldn’t help but stare after the guy’s , amazed by the fact that a cat’s tail didn’t look so out of place on it.

“Wait- I haven’t finished saying it!!” N didn’t leave without a protest, “Do you believe in love at first sight or do you need me to walk by you agaaaiiiinn-?”
Ken kicked the door shut behind them, cutting out Hakyeon’s dragging voice.

Ravi shook his head, unsure whether to feel relieved that he was finally gone, or upset mildly sad disappointed.

Jaehwan led N to what appeared to be a broom closet, and chucked him in unceremoniously. “There,” he said, “a special waiting room for you; assigned specifically for you by the dentist himself.”

The pout on Hakyeon’s face which was steadily growing into a volcano on the verge of eruption (because his genius wooing tactic pickup line had been most rudely interrupted), turned into confusion when his eyes fell upon the tiny room.

“Light-switch is over there,” continued the dentist’s assistant, not affected in the least, “and I’ll bring you a coffee in a sec.” With that, Ken bowed his way away.

Hmmm....
Hakyeon shrugged. Oh well… if his angel had specially designed it for him~
With a happy smile planted back on his face, he trotted over to the small chair fitted into the back of the tight space, and called after Ken who’d long since left, “I don’t like coffee that much; if you’ve got coffee flavored toffee though, that would do. Though personally I prefer gumballs.” (Someone tell Hakyeon this wasn’t a five-star candy-serving hotel!)

Then, wondering how long he’d have to wait, he fished around, searching for the phone he had—crud! He’d left the phone at home!!
‘I’m gonna die of boredom~’

“Jaehwan,” Ravi pounced on his assistant the moment he rounded the door, “What happened to… whatsthename?”

“Still don’t know his name?” smirked Ken.

“Oh shut up!”

“Haha, Doncha worry~” sang Ken, “I took care of him. I can bring him around your lunch break if you want,” he added with a mysterious smile, and left again to attend to his prisoner guest. (No one must know he’d kept the guy captive.)

But, despite all Jaehwan’s calculations, the guy was N, and N was… well, N.
Unable to stay still, he walked out of the closet (Of course it wasn’t locked! How cruel did you think Ken was?!) and looked for the candy (he thought) he was promised.

“Oh, did you get the candy?” he asked as he bumped into Ken coming from the dentist’s room.

Ken frowned. “Candy? I thought I said coffee?”

Hakyeon shook his head, “I like candy more, y’see,” he explained politely to his captor.

Jaehwan stared at the unique specimen before him for a while the decided ‘What the heck?! I like candy too, after all~’

“Then let’s go to the candy store to get some!” he said, grabbing the darker’s hand and marching out.

I know this wasn't a V-Day special, but at least I got an update in time, right...? (Right? (?) ) 
Anyways, do not fear... I'll have a V-Day special coming up FOR SURE! -but... that's after I figure out what time of the year this story is taking place.... :-/ I mean, I'm clueless... do any of you guys know? I mean, I'm guessing it's autumn/winter-ish coz Ravi had a coat on, but... someone tell me a month, when this story started?! (Yeah... if you were wondering, I'm probably the worst type of author out there. Seriously?!)
