Taehyung POV:

“Hey Taehyung, are you ready for the test coming next period?” My friend Sungjae asked. My mind completely went blank.

“We have a test? Since when?” I shouted.

“Um yeah, the teacher told us yesterday that we we’re going to have a test.” He said. “Did you not know about it?” He gave me a confused expression.

“Oh, the test, yeah I knew about it. Of course I did. Yeah it’s on math stuff.” I acted like I knew what he was talking about.

“Yeah, it’s on polynomials.” He corrected. I rolled my eyes, pretending like I had known what he meant.

“Yeah poly-poly- those things!”

“Well, good luck!” He said and the bell rang to go to our next class.

I am so screwed for this test. What the heck is a polynomial even? I should’ve paid more attention in class but its so boring and hard!

I got to the classroom and started getting my things out. Pencil, eraser, calculator and soon the bell rang and the teacher handed out the test.

“You have the whole class period to write this test so don’t rush it. If you don’t know the answer, skip it and then come back to it later. Again, no cheating on any tests, and if you get caught, that’s an automatic zero. You may begin.” Everybody flipped their tests and started.

“Okay Taehyung, you got this! Read the question and if you don’t know it, skip it and come back. You got this Taetae!” I said to myself. I read the question and didn’t understand it, so I skipped it. I skipped the next one…and the next one…and the next one. Soon I was at the very last question. Skipped that one too. Oh my god, what am I going to do? My eyes slowly scanned the person’s page beside me. Just one peek won’t hurt. “Okay so you just have to combine all of the x’s together and then add all of them up and then do the same with the numbers without the x’s. Okay, I got this!” I thought and then tried doing to on my page. I got 384 as the answer. That didn’t really seem right so, I looked off of the same guy again and he got 72 and the answer. I figured he was right so I changed my answer to that too. Now on to the next question. If he just moved his arm so I could see-

“Lee Taehyung, please bring me your test.” The teacher said. Everybody stopped what they were doing and stared at me. I slowly stood up and grabbed my test. I walked up to her desk.

“Y-Yes?” I said. I could feel everyone watching my every move.

“Everyone else, please focus on the test. Taehyung, could I please have your test.” She asked. I looked around and slowly people stopped staring at me. I handed her my test and I couldn’t believe what she did next. She ripped it! My test! She ripped my test!

“Wha-What are you doing?” I shouted. She stood up from her desk walked next to me.

“Please follow me outside.” I did what I was told and soon, we were outside the classroom and she shut the door. “I see you have been cheating, is that correct?” She asked with a stern face. I sighed. She caught me.

“Y-Yes. Sorry, I-I just got nervous.” I stuttered.

“Your parents will be noted on this situation.”

“Is there any way that I could have a second chance at this test?” I asked with the best puppy-dog eyes I could do. She hesitated and then sighed.

“Alright, I’ll give you one more chance to do this, but this will be the last time I will ever have this conversation with you.” I nodded my head. “How about the next Monday. You’ll have the weekend to study and I better see a good mark on that! Also, if y
