Chanwoo had no doubt about his future. He had always been an ambitious and determined little kid. Being one of the youngest kids to appear in tv shows and movies. Lucky, they would call him. He did think he was lucky. He debuted with his neighbourhood hyung and did what he loved. It was bliss until he turned 13. The events were unfortunate but everything had happend for a reason. Not that he minded. He grew to learn that everything comes with a price. 

"Hyung!" Chanwoo shouted startled by the suddenly burst of 8 boys coming in the practice room with a surprise. "Chanwoo! Why are you still here?" Jinhwan said excitedly as he went over to the younger. Chanwoo just grinned and rubbed the back of his head. "I am just.... "

"Just what?" Hanbin said going over to Chanwoo put was pushed aside by Jinhwan with a glare. "Never mind." Chanwoo said bashfully. Hongseok smiled and slung his hand over Jinhyeong's shoulder. "There they go again." Hongseok whispered at Jinhyeong who was smirking. Bobby who was standing next to them, smirked as he moved closer to them.

"Who goes again?" Bobby asked startling the the two male. Jinhyeong pointed over to the bickering Jinhwan and Hanbin with Chanwoo in the middle not knowing what to do.  "Chanchan?" Bobby said not getting what they are saying.

"Jin, are you sure he is quick at picking up things?" Hongseok asked laughing at the bunny like person who was trying to figure what the two fresh blood was saying. "JinChanBin." The older say looking at the trio, Bobby frowned and repeated the older's words.

"Stop bothering him." Jinhwan said annoyed by the attention that Hanbin was giving Chanwoo. "Chanwoo-ah, be careful of that guy right there. His a byuntae! You know how he likes to touch people." Jinhwan argued. A scoff was heard and Hanbin hit the older's head which resulted into a whine and Junhoe rushing over to the older male. "Ya-ya! Why did you hit Jinan hyung?!" Junhoe said worriedly as he checked his beloved hyung.

"Stop babying him Junhoe. His old enough." Hanbin said shaking his head. Junhwan. This is why people think Junhwan is real. They take care of each other like they are boyfriends. "Okay. Let's cool down everyone and can we not result to violence? Hanbin-ah, just think about jinhwan hyung's fans.They are crazy about their oppa. If they know that you hurt their oppa they will kill you!" Yunhyeong said trying to scare the younger but Hanbin didn't feel threaten at all. All that he could think about is that he was going to miss this.

"It's not working is it?" Yunhyeong said disappointedly. Hanbin scoffed and just slung his hand around the older's shoulder. "Keep trying hyung. Soon you will get it. Today was just not the day, next time okay?" Hanbin said patting the older's head softly. A glimmer hope suddenly flashed through everyones eyes. Next time, B.I just said Next time. 

"What?" B.I said confused as they all stared at him. Chanwoo noticing the slight change in the group and tried hard to laugh it off and just told Hanbin not to worry about it.

5 hours seemed to have past in a blink of eye. They have been doing their last practicing since everyone wanted to go over the last moves together. Sweat covered the 9 grown men and pants filled the whole studio. Hanbin admired the amount of team work everyone had with each other. The constant warnings and the reminders he had set for everyone was worth it.  The friendship that they have built is amazing. It was sad to see two people leaving in a few days later.

"Everyone get ready. We are going to give our secret magnito tonight. I'll go set up at the rooftop. Make sure you guys bring your presents." Jinhwan said excitedly. Everyone chuckled at the excited hyung as he quickly left the studio to go get ready.

"I don't think I can get up! I am too tired." Bobby whined playfully as everyone started to go out of the studio leaving Bobby and B.I behind. "Come on. Jinan hyung would get mad if we don't get ready." Hanbin said patting the olders shoulder as the older laid down on the ground.

"Yah! I made everything perfect. Why aren't you guys ready yet?" Bobby said immating Jinhwan. Hanbin could only laugh at the older and shook his head. He would definitely miss the older quirks. A few minutes turns into 5 and 5 turns to half an hour.  No one moved and just enjoyed the peace and quiet surrounding them. 

"Hanbin-ah." Bobby said looking over at Hanbin. The look that Bobby had a lot when he was thinking about his parents and family back at America. Well before he won SMTM. Bobby smiled softly and stared at the ceiling of the studio. "Thank you."  

The simple words tugged on Hanbin's heart but he tried hard to hide it with a chuckled. "For what?"

"For being the leader." Bobby said remembering back at the time where they were deciding who should be the leader. Back when it was just the three of them.

Hanbin and Jinhwan was staring at the odd looking boy in front of them. He looked resembled a roughed up bunny that just got out of a fight or one of those surfers that travels around the world. Who could blame them? They rarely see people and they depend on the movies and shows that they watch. It also didn't help that Bobby was wearing an over grown t shirt and had a messy hair style. 

"Well, I guess YG doesn't look at people looks alright." Hanbin whispered to his hyung. Jiwon was too happy that he got in to YG to notice that the two boys were talking behind his back. Well... more like in front of him. 

"Hello, my name Kim Jiwon. You guys can call me Jiwon or Bobby. I am a rapper." Jiwon said introducing himself as he extended his hand for a handshake. They mustered up a smiled and gladly accepted the hand. "I am Kim Hanbin. You can call me B.I or just Hanbin. This is Kim Jinhwan hyung." Hanbin said pointing towards the shy boy.

"Hyung? How old are you?" Bobby asked as stared at the shortest member there. "I am 17 and his 15." Jinhwan said explaining further. 

"Ah.." Bobby nodded his head and looked around the studio not knowing what to say. He was awkward especially since he was in a foreign country with no family members. "Hanbin-ah, Jinhwan! I see you guys have met the new team member." Yang Hyun Suk suddenly said out of nowhere. The trio was startled and bowed to their employer and smiled at him excitedly. 

"Okay, I am glad that you guys have met because I am going to tell you about you training her at YG Entertainment." Hyun Sik said as he slowly started off. "We are spliting up the boy trainees into two. You guys are going to be Team B. We don't have a specific name yet, so you guys will have to make do with the name for now."

Everyone nodded their head and kept their hearing on point, not wanting to miss out or unheard. "Your group members aren't decided yet. There could still be more members coming in to your group but we will see how that works out." He continued on. 

"But don't think you're in the safe zone. You might also get kicked out of the group if you are not performing well." A rush of adrenaline starts to flow through the three boys body. It was going to be hell to where they are going. This is the first warning for the storm that is coming ahead. 

"We will decide on a leader by the end of this week. Right now, we still dont know which one of you is the most fit but we hope you guys would also give your opinion about it as well. Right now, your assignment is to 2 performance at your monthly evaluation. The first one is original composition and the second one is your dance cover to anyones song. That one you can choose." Bobby held his breathe trying to comprehand what the CEO was saying. Original song? Dance cover? Monthly evaluation? 

"Can I ask a question?" Bobby said raising his hand shyly. Everyone turned to look at him expectantly. "Yes. What is it?" 

"We have to write our original song?" Bobby asked. The older man just smiled and pounted towards te serious looking hanbin. 

"He is going to write it for you guys." Hyun suk said as patted the youngers back. "He is a songwriter." Hanbin just nodded his head and not saying anything else. Bobby would be lying if he didn't felt intimidated by the younger. He was younger than him but YG trusted the younger to write the songs for them. "But if you guys want to lend a helping hand, you're more than welcome. I am sure Hanbin doesn't mind the extra help does he?" Hanbin just smiled timidly and nodded his head.

"Hanbin-ah. Can we talk for a while?" Hyun suk said looking expectantly towards Hanbin who just nodded his head and left the studio with the CEO. After seeing the two intimidating yet charismatic aura leave the room, only then Bobby could finally let out a breathe.  

"Don't worry. You will get used to him." Jinhwan said placing his hand on Jiwon's shoulder. Only to recieve a startled cry from the younger. Jinhwan couldn't help but laugh at the younger. "I mean Hanbin. He was also like that when he first met me." 

"How long did it take for you guys to work it out?"An unknown feeling of fear started to course through Jiwon's body. Jinhwan sighed and patted the youngers back. "We still haven't work anything out yet. We rarely talk to each other." The older said shaking his head. He had the same reaction when he first met Hanbin. The younger was a few years younger than him but with the younger's reputation, he was very famous in the entertainment industry. 

"Isn't things awkward for you in the dorm?" The thought of seeing the scary maknae everymorning is worrying Bobby. Jinhwan just shook his head and sat down on the floor seeing signs that the said younger wasn't going to be back for a while. It was always like that when Yang Hyun Suk wanted to talk to him. It wasn't something that Jinhwan should know but he couldn't help let thoughts run wild. "Sit. It's going to be a while before they get back." 

A slight shook of the head as he started to jog in place slowly. "Continue. I better be warmed up and ready before they get back."Jinhwan just shurgged and just looked at his shoes. "We don't really spend that much time together. I mean we have only met each other for a week." He started play with the angklet on his shoe and twisted it absentmindedly. 

"So you guys don't go out and spend time to get to know each other?" Bobby looked at older shocked. Hearing about the older's situation was making him hard to let go that Hanbin meant business about this. It wasn't a joking matter. "Hey are you okay?" Hanbin suddenly asked out of nowhere startling the two boys. They choked on their saliva and awkwardly rubbed their necks. It was like they were caught by the teacher when they were badmouth about them. 

"Y-y yea." Bobby stuttered when he felt Hanbin placed his hand on the poor boy's shoulder. "You guys ready? We should go to the studio upstairs. The songs are all there." Hanbin said pointing towards the door. Jinhwan and Bobby just nodded their heads and watch as Hanbin grabbed on to his stuff and headed out to the studio upstairs with two waddling clumsy boys tailing after him. 

Reaching the studio, Hanbin couldn't help but smile as he the computer there. There was one thing he loved the most aside from his family, it was writing music. Eventhough its a piece of sheet filled with notes that non-music people can understand. It was his escape, his oasis a place where he would get lost and have no care for the world. 

"Do you guys have a song in mind for us to dance to?" Hanbin said not even sparing a glance at them as he swiftly moved the mouse across the screen and scanning the song that was available there. Bobby and Jinhwan looked at each other not sure as what to say. The first song is always important. It can give other people a sense about yourself. The song will describe you and what you are capable of. Two pathways at this point, the best teamwork or the ride to hell because once they don't agree on a type of music, they will be in a big trouble. 

"A-ah." Bobby stuttered trying to think about a song where they would maybe have in common which is an impossible thing since he only met them an hour ago and now they are already on their next step of their relationship. "How about we start playing some of the music here and see which one we can agree on most?" Hanbin suggested when he sensed that the two hyungs thinking really hard about the choice of song. Just as Hanbin suggested it, Jinhwan and  Bobby relaxed and nodded their heads.

Playing the songs one by one, Hanbin was lost in the music. He decided to choose the best tracks to create a choreography and songs that he could add a bit of twist in the song. After playing 12 songs, the two hyungs where quiet behind him. He couldn't help but think that was his choice of  music wasn't good? Just as his chair turned around he saw a shocked Jinhwan and Bobby. 

"What?" 

"N-Nothing." Jinhwan stuttered as he looking at the younger nervously. "We are down to the last song. And we haven't choosen a song yet. Any more songs that you guys might think of?" Hanbin said just shrugging it off and turned back to look at the screen.

"I can't think of anything at the moment. Sorry." Bobby talking formally with the younger even though he was older. 

"Yea, me too. My mind is totally blank right now." Jinhwan said shaking his head. A sigh was heard and the cursor just scanned through the list of music. "I don't think they have the songs here. The internet is also not fixed yet. I am going to get my USB at my bag downstairs. I think I have a song in there."Hanbin said disappointedly as he stood up to leave the studio. 

Just as he left the studio, Jinhwan and Bobby let out a big breathe. They both laughed at each other and sending each other playful hits. "Oh my god." 

"How could I chose between those songs? They were so good eventhough I haven't heard any of them before." Bobby said shaking his head amazed by the choice of songs that the younger chose. "He didn't choose the typical songs. That's for sure." Jinhwan said agreeing with the new member. 

"How can he be so talented like that?" Bobby asked still shocked. He torn between the admiring the younger and being scared facing off with the younger. 

Time flies past so fast. In a blink of an eye, it was March. Much to the trio's dismay, they were still awkward with each other. Well, mostly Bobby and Hanbin. Bobby couldn't help but be intimidated by the younger all the time and he spoke formally everytime they were talking to each other. Their teamwork was perfect despite the awkward atmosphere at the dorm. They were like a perfect team but they had only one problem. They had no leader. The leader role would have always been switched from Hanbin to Jinhwan to Bobby. 

"It nice to see you guys again." Yang Hyun Suk said smiling at them as they entered his room. "I am sure you guys know why I called you guys here." He continued after recieving greetings from the three boys in front of him. 

"It must be tough isn't it not having a permenant leader. This is why I called you guys here." He said looking straightforwardly at the boys. 

"Its been 3 month now, you guys must have gotten to know each other alot better." The trio just sat there quietly patiently as they listened to the CEO explaining everything. "You have to know my decision is not easy. I was torn in to picking the two to become the leader. So I've decided to hand it over to you. I am trusting it to you guys so that you can have good team work with each other." They glanced at each other a bit. If one listened really closely, they would be able to hear the nervous heart beats of the three teenagers. 

"Bobby and B.I." He said looking at the two. Jinhwan's heart eased for a moment, relieved that he wasn't given the position. "Which one of you do you think should recieve the position?" 

"I- I don't think I can accept the position Sajangnim. I am happy that you think I can lead this team but most of the time I had help from Hanbin. I think Hanbin should get the title." Bobby said looking troubled by the position that he was in and Hanbin could see it. "I see potential from you Jiwon ah. I am sure with a bit of adjusting you will do fine." 

"C-can we talk about this between ourselves? Tomorrow we will tell you."Jinhwan asked politely as he observed his teammates. The CEO just nodded his head and dismissed them with a warning that if they didn't have an answer until tomorrow, he would have to decide himself.

"So, what do you guys think?" Was the first thing that came out of the eldest mouth as they entered their dorm. Hanbin just leaned against the wall and looked at his two hyung expecting them to decide because he was fine with either way. Before Bobby could say anything Hanbin's phone rang, a familiar ring that the boys would hear once or twice in a week. Hanbin just smiled loosely at them and excused himself. 

"Okay since Hanbin's gone, what do think actually? How would you feel if you got the position?" Jinhwan asked seriously as he tried to get through to Bobby who was glancing around the room trying hard to ignore the topic. "Yah! Kim Jiwon, I am speaking to you. You look me in the eye when I am talking to you. This is a big deal." Jinhwan said grabbing on to Bobby's collar forcing the younger to look at him. All he saw was a scared boy not knowing what to do.

"I don't want it. I hate it." Bobby said looking down at his fingers. "I don't want that kind of resposibility. I am not capable enough to lead a room." Jinhwan sighed and looked over to the other side of the room where the back of the maknae was slanted towards the door. He didn't want the youngest to feel pressured into taking a big job and it would be awkward for him to be in the position where he has to be straightfoward and honest even if would eventually hurt someone's feelings. Hanbin might be tough but he was also a softie when it comes to the people that he loved. 

"Okay. We should talk about this with Hanbin and see what he thinks." He said as he just leaned on to Jiwon's shoulder tired. After they finished their dance practice they were immidiately thrown to the dungeons of hell which is the YG's office and now they have to do a mind excercise where they have to test their mind on who they think is a better leader. Overall, Jinhwan was tired physically and mentally. 

"I'll pick Byul up tomorrow. Don't worry. I don't have any schedule at that time." Hanbin's voice got louder as he came closer to his hyungs. As soon as he arrived back to where he was, he was greeted by a sight of Jinhwan leaning on Bobby's shoulder tired and Bobby looking at him with guilt. 

"O-Kay. What did you guys decide?" Hanbin asked as he sat down with them and pulled jinhwan's head towards his lap and played with the older's hair. The older didn't mind getting the attention from Hanbin. He noticed how the younger would unconciously cling on to the people that he trusts and feel safe around. It was somewhat a big accomplishment for him considering how they were when they first met.

"We haven't decided yet. We were wondering what you thought about this... Jiwon said he doesn't think that he can lead the team." Jinhwan said yawning cutely. The weather was perfect for a quick nap and the hand caressing was not helping the older to stay awake. The maknae just nodded his head and looked towards Bobby who was playing with his fingers. 

"I see." Was the only thing that escaped the younger mouth as he was in a deep thought. A few minutes later, a soft snore was coming from on Hanbin's lap and the two other boys couldn't help but laugh at the sight. The oldest must have been really tired to be snoring in his sleep. 

"Why don't you want to take the leader position hyung? You're can be a good example for us to follow." Hanbin said expressing his thoughts towards the older knowing that it was just now the two of them not including the little shorty that was fast asleep on his lap. Bobby blushed at the compliment and just shook his head. "Nah. I am happy that you think I am good but I don't think I am capable enough to lead the group." 

Hanbin nodded his head in understandment. The older had always have problems with his self confidence, that was one of the things that he had learnt after living with the older for 3 months. "I think you just need to get used to it. After you are used to it you will do great, just like how you are with rapping. At first you're not used to rapping and along the way you get to rap in your own style and show the word how great you really are." Bobby finally looked up towards the younger and smiled softly. 

"Speaking like a true leader." Bobby said laughing as he nudged the younger's shoulder. Hanbin laughed but managed to stay static just so that he wouldn't disturbed the peacefully sleeping hyung.  "Would it be selfish of me if I said that I want you to be the leader?" Bobby asked suddenly catching Hanbin off guard but Hanbin just replied a no calmly as he continued to play with the eldest hyung's hair. 

"I just think whatever the result is, as long as we try our best then.. I think we are going to be as great as Big Bang sunbaenim." Hanbin said absentmindedly. Bobby nodded his head in agreement. The only thing that he could think about was how Hanbin was a mature for someone his age.

They slowly walked into the office again for the second time that week. No decision was made yesterday, one with the mind that wants to protect his dongsaeng, one with the mind that wants the best for the team and one with the mind that knows who the perfect fit to be the leader.  YG just sat in front of them for a while before clearing his throat. "I am sure that you guys don't have a decision." 

All three of them nodded their heads not saying anything as they waited for YG to critize them on how they were being difficult. "Truthfully, I didn't expect you guys to chose. I know who is the perfect fit to be the leader. I've known since the begining, I just had to test the others out to see if they can do better. " 

The boys just sat there speechless not knowing what to say. "It was a bad move for me to ask you guys on who should be the leader. I thought you guys would all say who deserves it right away but I can see there is still conflict in your eyes." 

"I don't think he should be the leader because he is too young to be taken that reponsiblity. He might not be comfortable with telling us off if we do anything wrong." Jinhwan suddenly voiced out his concerns. "Has he shown that kind of conflict before?" 

"He hasn't but having that kind of responsiblity might to hard on him. He has to worry about writing lyrics and raps as well as the dance choreo to lead us all." Hanbin raised an eyebrow at his hyung. It wasn't hard to know who the two men were talking about. But the one that got to him was that they were speaking as if he wasn't there in the room.

"I think he can handle it." Suddenly Bobby said startling Jinhwan. "He is the right person for the job." Bobby looked over to Hanbin who was just sitting there quietly. "Why do you say that?" YG said surprised by the two opposite opinions. 
 

"He is capable on leading the team without worries. He knows how to set the boundries between professional and personal. Don't underestimate his age or how he looks. He knows more than he lets on." Bobby said

"Besides, no matter who becomes the leader. As long as we do our best, we can be an be the best. I think Hanbin can help us be the best."  Bobby continued making Hanbin scoffed lightly at the words that the older was using. 

"That is settled than. Unless there is protest from anyone." YG asked as he looked over to Jinhwan who was still trying to process the speech Bobby made. "I am okay with it if Hanbin actually wants it." 

"Hanbin, do you want the position?"

Hanbin couldn't help but smile at Bobby's words. "I am just trying my best." A sudden burst through the door open and came greeting the sight of the small angry fairy. 

"You guys! I knew you guys would be like this. Come on! Get ready and quickly come back here. The party is about to start!"He said shaking his head as he pulled both of the boys up and kicking them out of the room.
