D-152~

Wrote this chapter in a little rush because of being busy recently and was away from home for a few days so the plot is kinda weird... *cries*

Late at night, as the darkness grew deeper in Taiwan, Kyuhyun let out a loud yawn showing his limit that he had enough of the day. But looking at the scripts that he was holding in his hands, he sighed as he told himself, just one more time going through the concert's rundown and he will turn in for the night. Though the dawn will come in just 2 or 3 hours time...

"Kyuhyun!" A voice shouting outside the hotel room and a knock that came after, broke the concentration in the room.

"Whats so urgent?" A staff together with Kyuhyun in the room frowned. Kyuhyun shrugged and continued reading his script while the staff opened the door.

"A fire broke out at the basement earlier on," It was Manager hyung who was shouting for Kyuhyun, "The hotel staffs are evacuating the people out now, though the fire has been controlled. We are moving out now."

Now that Manager hyung mentioned about it, Kyuhyun could vaguely smell the smoke fogging the corridor. If he is to evacuate through the emergency staircase...

"Hyung," Kyuhyun said, "I think I will just go back to my room."

"Eh... But Kyuhyun..." Manager hyung frowned at Kyuhyun's suggestion, but Kyuhyun stopped him from continuing.

"Didn't you said the fire has been controlled? Then it should be fine if I stayed in my room, huh?" Kyuhyun pointed out, "It could be worse if I had to breathe the burnt smell while evacuating."

"But..."

Kyuhyun patted on Manager hyung's shoulder, "Don't worry, I will be fine. You and the rest should follow the instruction and evacuate. See you tomorrow morning."

Knowing how stubborn Kyuhyun can be, Manager hyung gave an eye signal to the staff next to Kyuhyun, telling him to keep an eye on Kyuhyun. With that, Kyuhyun returned to his room and immediately dropped himself onto the bed, realising how tired he was exactly. Soon, he was drifted into the deep sleep, having no notice that his phone was vibrating with calls and texts...

Kyuhyun woke up with a jolt in the middle of his sleep, and his nose wrinkled to the smell of smoke. 

Isn't the fire under control? Kyuhyun frowned to himself as he got up from the bed walking towards the door. And he immediately regretted right after he opened the door as the burning smell came right in.

Kyuhyun covered his nose and mouth with one hand, avoiding in breathing the smoke that will hurt his throat directly, while he closed the door with the other hand and proceeded in searching his handphone, hoping to get some help. And he got another shock in seeing the number of calls and texts that he had received while he was sleeping. Calls and texts from his family, his friends, even his fans mentioning him in twitter asking for his safety. 

But one particular number caught his attention that he could feel a choke down his throat not due to the smoke. He opened one of the texts from the number and instantly, his eyes were filled with tears.

"Kyu, are you alright? Are you safe from the fire? Please...text me...if you do not want to talk to me, that you are safe. I can't go back to sleep without knowing your safety. So please, just a text will do... I will not bother you again once I got your reply.." 

Kyuhyun closed his eyes to keep himself calm, before he opened them again to reply the text.

"I am fine, Siwon hyung.."

Kyuhyun slumped back onto the bed, letting his tears dropped once more after he replied the text from Siwon. He never knew that being separated from the person he loved can be this hard, especially when they are no longer an item. And his ex-boyfriend just had to be so concerned with his well-being, worrying about him even after the hard time that they had went through a month ago which led to the breakup. He hugged his handphone close to his chest, with his face getting wet from his tears, and gradually he went back to sleep, dreaming about the times where he was happily being with Siwon when they were together.

Probably he was stuck in the sudden situation that he was helplessly involved, or the evidence of missed calls and texts from a worrisome Siwon, or he just felt tired from crying to sleep, he actually missed Siwon more than ever...

The concert on the following day went well, despite the soreness of his throat. Probably due to the smoke that he inhaled in the previous night. But Kyuhyun did not want the concert to flop just because of his condition, and he believed he can still sing if he isn't using too much strength that will hurt his throat further. And of course, he did not want to disappoint his fans too. So he took in as much water as possible, and rest his voice whenever there is a chance no matter how small it is. 

Halfway through the concert, while he was taking a brief break as a VCR was played on stage, his manager came forward and presented his handphone in view. With someone in the receiver. Kyuhyun eyed at his manager curiously, wondering about the reason. But his manager just shrugged with his shoulders and insisted Kyuhyun to take his phone.

Kyuhyun took over his phone and frowned upon seeing the caller's name on the screen. 

"What on earth..." Kyuhyun mumbled as he placed his phone over his ear, "Yah Shim Chwang, give me a reason why are you calling me at this timing? You should know I am having my concert now..."

"Woah, Cho Kyu, your voice is so horrible," Kyuhyun rolled his eyes at the first thing that his best friend had said to him, "Yah, just how much did you inhale from the fire?"

"Not much," Kyuhyun just had to roll his eyes again, "Since I am still capable in talking to you AND wasting my precious break time."

"Tsk, still so evil," Kyuhyun could imagine the way that Changmin flipped his eyes over the other side of the phone, then came a few seconds of silence before he spoke again, "Hold on for a second."

"Yah, just what do you want?" Kyuhyun barked again into the phone, but there isn't amy reply from his best friend, "Yah Shim Changmin! I need to go on stage soon. What do you want to say?"

"Good luck in your concert," Kyuhyun wasn't expecting a different voice to appear right through his ear, and definitely wasn't expecting to hear a voice that he missed so much, especially after what had happened last night.

"...Hyung..." Though he knew his hoarse voice would scare the hell out of the person at the other side, but he couldn't stop himself from mouthing out.

"Do take care of yourself, huh?" The same husky voice yet filled with so much tender loving care, and it just cringed Kyuhyun's heart with each word, "Don't exert too much strength if it is hurting..."

"I am fine, hyung..." Kyuhyun closed his eyes, as he allowed the voice he had not been hearing for the past month to run down through his ear.

There was a second of awkward silence before Siwon spoke again, "You have waited so many years for this, isn't it? Your own..."

"Solo concert out of Korea," Kyuhyun finished the sentence for Siwon, "You predicted that first, hyung."

"Because I believe in you..." Kyuhyun could sense the smile, the sweet smile that Siwon always put up for him.

"Hyung... I..." Kyuhyun wanted to say how much he missed Siwon, but he paused with realization that they are no longer a couple.

"I know you did not want to hear from me probably, but.." Kyuhyun shook his head though Siwon couldn't see it, "I...I just want to say... There is no other like you..."

"Kyuhyun, it is time now!" Manager hyung came shouting that stopped Siwon from continuing, pointing out for Kyuhyun to be back on stage.

"But hyung, just a moment!" Kyuhyun stood up from the chair anxiously, "I need to..."

"Kyu," Siwon called out for him through the phone, "It is ok... You have to go now."

"But..." Kyuhyun looked at his manager and held his phone as tight, refusing to let go, "Siwon hyung.."

"All the best, Kyu. And take care..." With that, Siwon hang up the call without waiting for Kyuhyun to respond. Kyuhyun removed the phone from his ear and stared at the device helplessly.

No other like you...

Back on stage, Kyuhyun tried with his might to contain his emotion, and put on his best to perform for his fans. But the thought of Siwon and his words previously were not that easy to shake off. Especially after Siwon mentioned about the time where he made his impromptu prediction back then many years ago. So during the ment, Kyuhyun purposely spoke about it on stage, that brought him and probably the fans who had supported him since that period of time, back to that particular memory.

"If I remember clearly, it was somebody who told me that I could have a solo concert in Taiwan, during the time where I was here with SJM for our long stay," Kyuhyun smiled to the memory fondly as he recalled, "It was that somebody, who said that I am capable in holding a concert by myself, singing for my fans who enjoy my voice. It was that somebody, who said...there is no other like me who can live to this dream. No other but me..."

Siwon and Kyuhyun were the first to return to the dorm where they stayed in Taiwan for the long stay, after the SJM fanmeet that they held earlier in the day. The rest of the SJM members and staffs continued the celebratory dinner, having the acknowledgement secretly among themselves when the pair announced that they would want to retreat first. The members nodded their heads accepting, but deep down they were giggling to themselves knowing what both of them were up to. 

And indeed, right after they were back at the dorm, Siwon grabbed Kyuhyun from behind and lifted him up slightly in the air, and swing their bodies with much excitement. Knowing that only them were in the dorm, Kyuhyun giggled out loud as he fell back leaning against Siwon and allowed Siwon to swing them further into the dorm. Then, both dropped themselves onto the nearby couch as Siwon's knees bumped right at the couch that made him lost his balance.

Just at the right position with his back lying on the couch, Kyuhyun pulled Siwon to have his head pressing against his chest. Satisfied with the comfortable weight on him, Kyuhyun then raised his hand to Siwon's hair that he always love to touch. Siwon hummed with the touch, and pressed his face harder against Kyuhyun's clothed chest. They laid in such position for a while, before Kyuhyun started to sing a chinese song that he sang at the fanmeet.

One song after another, Kyuhyun never stop with Siwon listening attentively to his singing, just like earlier on where Kyuhyun sang the chinese songs with Siwon next to him at the fanmeet. He felt at ease especially, that Siwon was next to him, listened lovingly as he confidently sang out the chinese songs which he learnt by heart. And he was even more delighted with the comment that came from Siwon, saying proudly that he will have a solo concert of his own in Taiwan. Though he knew it isn't that easy to have a solo concert even in Korea, let alone out of Korea, he was extremely comforted to hear it from the person he loves since forever.

How he wished...this wishful dream will come true one day and Siwon will still be with him.. As his loving boyfriend and as his number 1 fanboy.

"Wonnie..." Kyuhyun called out for Siwon after he finished yet another song.

"Hmmm.." Siwon was all in his dreamy mode, unwilling to wake up from Kyuhyun's sweet voice.

"Ahhh hyung..~" Kyuhyun tried again, this time with a nudge using his chest.

"Yes, my baby?" Siwon raised his head up a little to face Kyuhyun, "Why did you stop? I want to hear more, in fact, I want to hear you sing everyday for the rest of my life, and never get tired of."

"Very cheesy, Wonnie," Kyuhyun rolled his eyes with slight annoyance but in Siwon's view, it is just too adorable, "I want to ask you something."

"Anything, baby." Siwon wrapped his arms around Kyuhyun and snuggled deeper with his face buried against Kyuhyun's chest.

"Do you...mean it when you said," He just wanted to hear it again, "When you said, I will definitely hold a solo concert on my own, here in Taiwan? You are not saying it for fanservice, right?"

Siwon shot his head up with the serious expression whenever he is in a damn serious mode, "Of course I mean it. You don't believe me?"

"No no! I didn't say that I don't believe you..." Kyuhyun pouted hearing that Siwon was doubting him, "But...because the fans were cheering and screaming when you said that, so..."

"Even if you don't believe me," Siwon interrupted with his hand crept up to caress Kyuhyun's cheek, "You should believe in yourself. You have the ability to do so, because in my heart, there is no other like you who is so talented and has a beautiful voice that will charm people around you."

"Just like there is no other than you who can capture my heart, my soul, my mind and everything else, to be fully yours." Siwon added on, before he pushed forward to steal a sweet kiss from Kyuhyun.

Kyuhyun smiled upon hearing that again from Siwon, no matter how cheesy it is, his heart couldn't stop falling for Siwon once more. And he made a promise to himself, for Siwon to have his prediction comes true, he will work harder to achieve that dream.

The dream that belongs to the both of them, that carries a lot more meaning than just a mere wishful thought...

"So, I thank you, everyone here who came to watch my concert, to hear me sing," Kyuhyun bowed at his fans on stage, with tears b in his eyes, "I completed the wish to have a solo concert here, and I am extremey grateful for everything."

Just then, the whole concert hall was lited up with red lights, coming from the audience. At one glance, Kyuhyun thought the fans were playing a prank on him by having red light which is the fanclub colour for TVXQ. Then, as he watched closely, at those fans who were nearer to him, the red light actually came from a small red paper box with his name on it that looks like a sky lantern, a paper balloon that the Taiwanese usually used to make a wish. Knowing the meaning behind the red light, as though the fans were fulfiling his wish for him, Kyuhyun couldn't help but let his long-waiting tears flowed down uncontrollably.

Wonnie... I made it... Because of you, I made it... But...we...are no longer together anymore... Why...why do I have to face this all alone by myself, when you are supposed to be with me...?

"Do get some proper rest and drink more water, ok?" Manager hyung reminded Kyuhyun the moment they reached Incheon Airport from Japan.

"Yes, hyung..." Kyuhyun replied weakly, as he was totally exhausted from the continuous flights since Taiwan trip. Only managed to get a day off after returning from Taiwan and off he goes to Japan right away for another Japan tour which lasted for days. And finally he is back to homeland from the flying around, finally given the rewarded days off which he really in need of. 

And...he would like to speak to Siwon again... Since the time they spoke through the phone in Taiwan, he had not been receiving any call or text from Siwon. Which somehow bothers him deep down. Of course he has no reason to fuss with the lack of communication since...since Siwon is no longer his boyfriend and there is no need for Siwon to shower his usual love on him... But...

Aren't you concerned with my condition? Kyuhyun couldn't help but sulked at his blank phone. Even as a hyung to maknae of the group, shouldn't you show any care of asking me how was I?

"Ah Kyuhyun ah," Kyuhyun snapped from his thoughts as he looked at Manager hyung, "Today you will take another car back home."

"Huh? You are not sending me home?" Kyuhyun asked wondering, "Who is picking me up?"

"Ah here it is," Manager hyung waved at the upcoming car approaching them, "Someone is here to send you home."

Kyuhyun tilted his head wanted to ask more but paused when he got a feeling the 'someone' is the person he was thinking of.

"Kyuhyun ah!" The driver revealed himself after winding down the window, waving at Kyuhyun with bright smile.

"Teddy hyung!" Kyuhyun ran closer to the car, unexpectedly to see another manager whom is not taking care of him usually, but someone else...

"Come in, I will bring you home." Teddy urged Kyuhyun to hop into the car. Kyuhyun nodded his head, and waved goodbye to his manager before stepping into the car.

And found himself another surprise, waiting for him at the back of the car.

"Hi Kyu," Another smiling face greeted him which got him stunned for a second.

"Si...Siwon hyung?" Kyuhyun gasped, quickly closing the door and sat on the seat next to Siwon, "Why...why are you here?"

"To fetch you home," Siwon's smile remained on him, "And...we need to talk."

"Talk? What is...what is there to talk about?" Kyuhyun lowered his head, thinking of the last time they met ended up a big row and a breakup. 

"Because I missed you." Siwon simply answered, which made Kyuhyun leveled his head to meet the heartwarming orbs looking back at him.

Just like always...

"We will talk when we reach my apartment," Siwon said after a few seconds of awkwardness, "Meanwhile, you can take a nap."

"I had a nap in the airplane earlier on." Kyuhyun stubbornly repiled.

But Siwon was not buying it, so he adjusted the seat that caused Kyuhyun to fall backward.

"Hyung!" Kyuhyun whined, refused to accept as he tried to sit up from the seat. But Siwon is just so much stronger than him, especially he is in the police unit for his service now.

"Your throat is still not alright from the fire incident, and your eyes are red from the lack of rest," Siwon pressed Kyuhyun down on the seat, with their faces just inches away from each other, "Don't make me worry anymore, will you?"

Kyuhyun blushed instantly, hearing the worried tone from Siwon. So he nodded his head obediently and closed his eyes to have a short nap. 

"We can talk later..." Kyuhyun could feel the pair of familiar lips pressed on his forehead, but he is cautious not to open his eyes with his heart pumping faster than ever, so he allowed the sleep to take over and soon he dozed off for a nap.

The next moment Kyuhyun woke up, the car was just in time turning into the carpark of Siwon's apartment. He was welcomed by Siwon's smiling face, as if he was being watched the entire car ride during his sleep. He rubbed his eyes from the sleep, and stretched himself to flex his stiff muscles. 

"Good sleep?" Siwon asked as Teddy stopped the car.

Kyuhyun nodded, secretly glad that he accepted to have a nap. With that, Siwon climbed down the car with Kyuhyun following behind him. He thanked Teddy for the ride before he held Kyuhyun's hand walking to the elevator. Kyuhyun blinked his eyes, staring at their entwined hands, as though they are like before as lovers.

Once inside the elevator, Kyuhyun sighed but having no sign to remove his hand from Siwon.

"Hyung..." Kyuhyun muttered, "You do know...we are not..."

"I do." Siwon cut off from what Kyuhyun wanted to say.

Kyuhyun sighed once more, "And you do know the reason why we broke up..."

"That I know too." Siwon interrupted again.

"Then why are you doing this?" Kyuhyun held up their hands as evidence, "And...you kissed my forehead earlier on."

"I know..." Siwon's turn to sigh, "But didn't I said that I missed you?"

Before Kyuhyun could respond, the elevator stopped at the floor which Kyuhyun was very much familiar with. Still with their hands intertwined, Siwon pulled Kyuhyun along towards his apartment. Kyuhyun obeyed as he followed Siwon into the apartment, thinking what else can they talk about. But his mind went blank when he stepped into the place which he once called home. Until a month ago. 

Its been a month since he last appeared in Siwon's apartment, yet everything just seems so cosy and homely. His favourite movies, the Harry Potter series, the Avengers series and Thor movies, were scattered around on the coffee table together with Siwon's favourite movies, as though it was just yesterday where they bickered over what to watch. On the corner of the couch, there laid a piece of tee that he always wear whenever he came over, and it remained there since the last time where Siwon stripped him and threw the tee across the room in the need of heat released. And...not to mention his mogu penguin stuff toy on the carpeted floor because he decided to add some cuteness in Siwon's apartment so he brought it along when he came over.

That was all before they started to have a huge fight and argument that led to the final breakup.

"How could you doubt me?" Kyuhyun shouted as he wiped his tears furiously, "He is married for goodness' sake! And whatever we do on the show, is just FOR SHOW! He is just like another hyung to me!"

"Hyung who would hug you while sleeping?" Siwon argued back, "Hyung who would be so coincidentally pair with you as partners? So am I just another hyung as well? And you just met him not long ago! Who knows what kind of secret agenda he has on you?!"

"You are just been so ridiculous, hyung!" Kyuhyun flared up, throwing a cushion he grabbed from the couch at Siwon, "He isn't someone so scheming and he is happily married to his wife! You saw it yourself, hyung, the way he spoke to his wife! He never talk to me like this for damn goodness!"

"Then why do you let him hug you? Are you secretly happy to have a guy hugging you to sleep?" Siwon questioned stubbornly.

"It is his habit! He will just hug anyone he shares bed with!" Kyuhyun spat, "Then what about you huh? Aren't you touching those policemen in the unit too?"

"What...?" Siwon couldn't believe his ears that Kyuhyun would turn over and doubt him.

"I saw those fancams where you were happily touching anyone in sight," Kyuhyun bit back with fume, "Must be having a good time without me around, isn't it? So what is this huh? Because you are guilty of doing things behind my back that you are accusing me first?"

"I am doing what I am supposed to do in the unit!" Siwon replied angrily, "How could you think of me that way?"

"Just like how you thought of me too, hyung!" Kyuhyun cried out, "Isn't the same, huh? Aren't you doubting me too?!"

With that, both stopped with the shouting and closed their eyes to calm the intense mood down. But the nasty words that were thrown out, are not that easy to retrieve back. Kyuhyun couldn't stop feeling hurt with such little trust that Siwon had on him, so he decided to put a stop to this before the relationship became a real horrible one.

"Hyung..." Kyuhyun spoke after a few minutes, "We should...end this. You don't trust me anymore and...I don't too. This is not healthy at all, to both of us. Maybe we should just..."

"Okay," Siwon agreed before Kyuhyun could finish, which in fact hurts the most deep down his heart, "We should...probably be apart for the time being."

"...Yes.." He was the one who suggested it, yet it was so hard for him to mouth out the word. Kyuhyun couldn't believe that this harsh argument could lead them to an end, but he had to accept the fact.that they could no longer talk without such argument.

With the last look at Siwon who had his head lowered to his knees sitting on the couch, Kyuhyun walked out of the apartment, with tears all over his face.

"I...am sorry, Kyu," Siwon had Kyuhyun to sit on the couch before he kneeled in front with both his hands over Kyuhyun's hands, "I know this apology came rather late, and you probably isn't ready to forgive me, but...I really want to say...sorry."

Kyuhyun did not have any respond, instead, he just stared at their hands together. Perfectly fit in each other's hold...

"Maybe you did not want to hear from me at all, but you are free to go after I am done with what I want to say." Siwon paused for a little to watch the reaction from Kyuhyun.

Still in silence. 

Siwon took in a deep breath before he continued, "I was in great shock when I heard before the fire in the hotel you were staying in Taiwan. I was waken up by Donghae who got the news first, and couldn't go back to sleep while waiting to make sure you are alright. Then I realised just how wrong I was in resulting to the breakup. I...shouldn't have let you go just because of the things we were not in agreement. And I couldn't stand another minute without you with me."

"So if the fire didn't happen, are you not going to talk to me at all?" Though he knew he got the wrong point to focus but he couldn't stop himself from saying that.

Siwon smiled though, as he replied, "Are you sure this is the only thing that you catch from my apology?"

"Then," Kyuhyun asked again, "Why didn't you contact me when I was in Japan?"

Siwon heaved a deep sigh, "Because I don't want to pressure you, and make you upset with my harsh words again."

"If that is the case," Kyuhyun raised his eyes to look directly at Siwon, "Why are we here?"

"Because..." Siwon took his phone out from his pocket, and swiped it to show a picture, "Because of this."

It was a picture that Kyuhyun took when he visited Siwon, Donghae and Changmin at the police station. He was browsing the gallery in his phone and saw this picture which brought back a fond memory. He was radiant that day because he met Siwon after a few months of missing him, and of course Siwon was joyous to see him as well, that they couldn't be apart from each other even in inches. Donghae and Changmin were teasing them for being clingy but he wouldn't care much about others because he missed his Siwon. 

Just like how he missed Siwon when he was in Taiwan...

"It was this picture that brought me back to that day, where we were so happy even we were only together for less than an hour," Siwon recalled as he smiled to the picture that he and Kyuhyun were looking at, "There is no other people than you who can make me the happiest man on earth, Kyu. And I should contain that smile in you too, and not...making you so distressed with my jealously. I am sorry, Kyu. I really am..."

Kyuhyun placed a finger on Siwon's lips to stop from continuing, with a small shake of his head, "I am sorry too, hyung. I shouldn't be adding fuel in that argument... I played a part in that breakup too. And..when I was in Taiwan, when I was stuck in a situation where I didn't know what to do, it was you whom I had in mind. I...missed you too, Wonnie..."

"Oh Kyu~" Siwon breathed with ease like a finally, and embraced Kyuhyun for the long-waiting hug, "The past one month was so hard for me to live through..."

Kyuhyun sniffed as he returned the hug, wrapping his arms around Siwon with his head buried at the crook of the strong shoulder, "You have no idea how was it for me too.. I have to tell myself, I have to keep this dream going even without you by my side."

"Dream?" Siwon asked as he pulled away from Kyuhyun and placed both his hands by Kyuhyun's cheeks, "What dream?"

"The dream where we made together many years ago, in Taiwan," Kyuhyun smiled, "Where you said I could have a solo concert of my own..."

"In Taiwan," Siwon nodded his head as he remembered, "Yes... Our dream, how can I forget..."

And he placed his lips against Kyuhyun, which was willingly returned as they kissed for the first time in a month. Kyuhyun sighed with content as he felt Siwon's lips on him, and pulled Siwon to deepen the kiss, reclaiming the man of his own once again. The kiss got passionate as though it was their first time to have a taste of each other, and left the pair panting as they broke apart. Though lips were still touching one another, with feathery touch that they refused to break off entirely. Both smiled at the same time before they smashed for another strong kiss, and broke off once they were finally satisfied.

Siwon brought his hand right at Kyuhyun's blushing cheek with soft caress, and gave a sweet smile before he opened his mouth, "Will you take me back, my baby?"

Kyuhyun let out a giggle that he had not been doing so for the past month, "Do you even need to ask? Of course I will take you back, Wonnie~ No other people than you who can own my heart..."

"Likewise, my baby," Siwon smiled hearing what Kyuhyun had said, "Likewise..."

"And please take me back too.." Kyuhyun added on.

"I will definitely," Siwon pulled Kyuhyun for another tight hug, "I will take you back and not let you go anymore, Kyu. I love you..."

Kyuhyun returned the hug with a kiss on Siwon's neck as he replied sweetly, "Me too, Wonnie, I love you..."

No other than you can make me feel completed in life... And only you forever...
