Opposites do attract [ON HOLD]After this encounter with Myungsoo, Heeyoung came back to her own bedroom where Minyeon was already sleeping soundly. She lied down trying to find her sleep but she was feeling wide awake. Myungsoo was always putting her mind in great turmoil so much that she could barely sleep sometimes. She couldn’t understand him, sometimes he was just the worst person ever barely human even and then he looked like a small kitten, taking care of her and hugging like he did minutes ago. Heeyoung turned around in her mind and tired to think about anything else, closing her eyes. When she opened her eyes it was only 6am and the flat was eerily silent, she got up slowly trying to be really careful not to wake up her friend and went to the bathroom. After taking her shower she went to prepare a breakfast fit for a king for everyone. They had –well the guys had drunk a tad too much and she was pretty much sure they would have a small hangover. She started to prepare some pancakes and waffles, she was busy mixing the dough she didn’t realized that there was someone in her back, it was only when she realized she needed some more casted sugar that she finally bumped into a hard torso, when she looked up Myungsoo was looking down at her holding her shoulders to keep her steady.
“Hey” She said lowly because Sungyeol was sleeping on the couch in the other room.
“What are you doing.” Myungsoo asked peering at the bowl behind her, she glanced at the preparation.
“I’m making breakfast for everyone.”
“That early?” He asked widening his eyes. She answered by just smiling bashfully.
“I’m going to help you.” Myungsoo nodded and started to pull up his sleeves.
“You don’t have to.’ Heeyoung said trying to stop him.
“But I can’t sleep and I have nothing better to do so I don’t mind.” He smiled and looked at the ingredients.
Heeyoung showed what he needed to do and they started to bake in silence and peacefully. Even if it was a bit awkward Heeyoung didn’t feel ill at ease like she would have been before. However she felt the need to say something, something important that needed to be said especially if they started to be friend. Heeyoung stopped preparing the fresh fruits and turned to look at Myungsoo who didn’t notice her and was still cutting carefully the fruits with his lips pursed.
“I need to tell you something." Heeyoung said trying not to look too serious. Myungsoo turned to her putting down his knife and seemed surprised.
“I don’t want to ruin our friendship even if it’s like really fresh and new but I feel like I need to be honest with you and to tell you about it. I’m dating Woohyun since yesterday. I’m sorry Myungsoo” she didn’t know why she felt the need to apologize but she did. Myungsoo was expressionless he didn’t say anything, didn’t sighed or yelled, he just smiled at her but it didn’t quite reach his eyes and didn’t displayed his dimples.
“I’m glad you were honest about it. thank you.” He took her hand and held it tight giving her a small smile. He let go when they heard ruckus in the other room and Dongwoo appeared still wearing his pajamas running while screaming “Santa Claus came.” It made both Heeyoung and Myungsoo smile. Slowly everyone started to fill the main room, Minyeon waking up Sungyeol while Dongwoo was dancing happily around the Christmas tree. Hoya joined them helping with the breakfast and Sunggyu was setting the t
