"So for you what is y ?"

"I don’t really know it’s just an overall feeling." She tried to vaguely assume.

"An overall feeling ?" Sungyeol cocked an eyebrow

"I am not really used to this kind of things, I mean boys, dating and k…" She stopped.

"You mean kissing ?" Sungyeol finished her sentence.

Minyeon hung her head low and blushed.  She was quite embarrassed since she had never had any boyfriend or romantic relationship. They had already talked about this with Heeyoung and saw movies but it was not the real life whereas Sungyeol had already quite a bit of experience to say the least. The music was still blasting and her uneasiness was making its way inside her rooting deep down in her stomach. She hoped this night would end up soon, not that she didn’t like spending time with Sungyeol but there was this feeling inside her telling her that something about this night was so wrong. When she came back to her sense Sungyeol was sitting closer to her than before and was smiling to her. Surprisingly she couldn’t stop to stare at him and find him really handsome with his bangs on his face, she started to detail his every features his long eyelashes to his tall nose down to his plumped lips that were grinning at her. She bite her lower lips and gulped, he was too close for comfort. Quickly without hesitation Sungyeol leaned and put his lips on Minyeon’s brushing it slightly. She was so shocked she froze, she didn’t blink or even close her eyes as Heeyoung had told her to do so. Time had stopped around her, she couldn’t even hear the music. It was supposed to be her moment, the best of her life  but the timing was so wrong, in her dreams it would have been so romantic, they would have had dinner at a restaurant then had a walk in a park and he would have slightly and slowly kissed her, not in a underground bar in a dark corner surrounded by strangers. Sungyeol was now looking at her expressionlessly as Minyeon was still not saying anything. She felt the tears come up in her eyes, she had always imagined this moment all her life, and this reality was far from it. She stood up and run away from the scenery leaving him dumbfounded. She couldn’t stand it, staying here in this room with him she was so disappointed.

As Minyeon was running away she bumped into Heeyoung who was ordering a drink. She could only hear the worries in the voice of her friend as she said “eonnie” but it didn’t stop her. Heeyoung saw Sungyeol following Minyeon, looking crazily everywhere. Heeyoung grabbed Sungyeol arm stopping him in his research.

"What’s wrong with you ? What did you do ?" She asked looking angrily at him.

"Can you please let me go I need to chase after her. So please I’m gonna made up everything. I promise."

"What did you do ?" She asked again more worried than mad.

"Just let me go, I’ll tell you later, just watch after L, I think he is drunk please."

And then he just left her running after Minyeon. Heeyoung sighed and drank her glass in one gulp and ordered another one. Sungyeol just ruined everything again. Heeyoung was so annoyed, they had planned everything so why did he had to ruin it. She didn’t gave a damn about anything else especially L. She needed to think peacefully, L could take care of himself. She ordered one last glass and let the alcohol ease her anger before taking all her belongings and leaving the club. She walked a bit and found a park with a small patch of grass, she sat on the grass looking at the stars, it was a bit chilly but it permits her to clear up her mind a bit. She was wondering what could have done Sungyeol. She thought about several plots but hoped it was not the real situation because it could turn out really bad.

"What are you doing here ?"

She looked up to be faced by L. A sigh escaped her parted lips  and she then averted her gaze toward the sky.

"You’re not with this girlfriend of yours ? I’m only an unattractive dwarf remember ?" She snapped sarcastically.

"She was getting on my nerves, too clinging’ unlike you. So why are you alone ?"

L couldn’t tell her the real reason, but when he had seen her leave the club, he felt something weird inside the pit of his stomach that made him leave the girl he was with just to follow her. He didn’t know why but surely he was too drunk to even understand the whole situation.

"Sungyeol did something to Minyeon and now they are somewhere in this town. Sungyeol trying to make up what he did." Heeyoung deadpanned.

"So we just have been stood up by our friends." L said falling beside her looking at the sky too.

Heeyoung stayed silent and heaved a sigh. She found him annoying, trying to be nice like that since they were hating each other to the guts.

"Would you rather spend one year with your one true love just to never see them again or the rest of your life with second best?"
