Minyeon was working on her last bit of homework, she had nearly finished when she heard an odd noise outside. She started to worry about it but pushed it aside and tried to solve her maths problem, it was the only remaining one, so she wanted to solve it quickly to be able to spend some time doing other things like playing the piano or go on Internet. However the noise still continued, annoyed she stood up and went to open her window and checked her balcony.

" Oh my!!"  Minyeon exclaimed

"Hey girl!"

In front of her, a tired Heeyoung with messy hair, red face and short breath was holding the railing like her life depended on it. Minyeon sighed and helped her friend climbing the last bit of the balcony. It wasn’t the first time this happened but it always made Minyeon uneasy.

"Do you really have to climb my house’s wall, AGAIN?"  She scolded her friend.

"Haha sorry, can’t help it. It‘s no fun to enter by the usual way." Heeyoung smiled.

"You know you look like a mess right now?"

She shrugged and went past her friend to go inside. She sat on the floor and waited for Minyeon to come back inside. The latter sighed and went back inside to sit on her chair and looked deeply at her friend.

"Why are you here?" Minyeon asked.

"What? Is that a way to talk to your best friend? Huh?" Heeyoung faked shock and hurt.

"No, but normally you call before coming."

"I felt like coming that’s all. Your house wasn’t fra from where I was. So how was your date ?" She wriggled her eyebrows cutely and a sly smile appeared on her face.

"You know that you look a lot like L with this face." Heeyoung made a face.

"Don’t talk about this jerk. So the date?"

"Well basically we talk a bit about normal stuff and..." Minyeon stopped mid-sentence.

"And..."

"He said he admires me and that I am someone really special!"

"OMG really?"

Minyeon was screaming of happiness and Heeyoung was only smiling.

"Aren’t you happy for me?" Minyeon asked unsure.

" I am but I’d hope he would make a bigger move. Heeyoung said quietly."

" That’s not all! He walked me home and patted my head! I think it’s really a big move, isn’t it?"

" Yeah right." Minyeon could sense that Heeyoung wasn’t as ecstatic and happy as her, as if she was hiding something.

"Also, I wanted to ask why Kai was with you earlier?" It was Minyeon turn to wriggle her eyebrows and Heeyoung to turn a bit red.

"He was just asking me if I was okay that’s all"

"Really? And why?"

"I just had an argument with another student and it happens that Kai helped me."

"Woah! Kai actually stand up for you. That’s unexpected of him."

"I know."

"You must be super happy?!" Minyeon asked clearly excited for her friend.

"Actually I don’t know, I’ve a weird feeling about it. By the way do you know that Boohyun oppa has a brother? I went to his restaurant this afternoon."

"Really, I didn’t know!"

"Of course, he was pretty cute though. He looked like his brother but younger though."

Minyeon threw a pillow toward Heeyoung, directly in her face messing her already messy hair.

"Yah!"

"Seriously, you were talking about Kai just minutes ago.

Heeyoung threw the pillow back and a pillow fight started quickly with laughter and giggles.

"What’s happening here? Oh hello Heeyoung!" Minyeon's mother opened the door hearing their ruckus.

"Hello madam! How are you?"

"I’m fine, I didn’t saw you enter!"

"She climbed the wall again." Minyeon cried

"Ohh Heeyoung! You know it’s dangerous, please don’t do it again it worries me."

"I promise I won’t do it anymore." Heeyoung said smiling

Heeyoung stayed a bit with her friend to study together and then went back home. That night when minyeon went to bed she couldn’t help but think of Sungyeol and how in a day with the help of her friend so many things had changed. But she didn’t know that her whole life was going to change so much more.

Minyeon and Heeyoung were in their homeroom class chatting happily. Actually, HeeYoung was giggling in front of her tab and Minyeon was checking the news on her phone.

"Argh, I thought that they were going to upload the dance video of the competition today."

"Just wait Heeyoung. It’s going to be on sooner or later." Minyeon sighed.

"It’s getting on my nerves, I want it now!" Heeyoung started to move her feet, annoyed.

"Heeyoung, don’t throw a tantrum; you’re not a child anymore!"

Heeyoung started to fake crying and moving her arms in the air like a child just to annoy Minyeon, the latter rolled her eyes and went back to her phone not minding her childish best friend.

Minyeon went near her friend to check the video she was eagerly looking at. It was the new video of Kai dancing during the competition , and Heeyoung was totally fangirling over it.
