Note to Requester: I don’t know if your a fan of this kind of thing, and this probably isn’t what you had in mind, but I’ve never written an even slightly angsty YoonJin drabble/fic even though the genre could really suit this pairing, so I couldn’t refuse. >.< Sorry~ Anyway~ ENJOY (or not?) But seriously, I hope you like it. ^^

There are so many ways in which people fall in love, and maybe even more ways in which they prove their love to the other person. Sometimes two people who are completely unfit for each other, even, have the chance to fall so in love with each other that they experience all the hardships and have to overcome the most to establish any solid ground in their relationship.

That pretty much sums up Yoongi’s relationship with Seokjin. The two care so deeply about each other that they’re too stubborn to let go when they clearly do the other more harm than good. For the past month, every day of their relationship has been full of pain and many tears. They try to convince themselves that they can get through this, fix what’s been broken for so long, but it’s impossible. Yoongi knows now that the pain will never go away.

“I don’t understand why you have to leave me,” Seokjin cries when Yoongi finally does what both of them were too afraid to do for a long time. “Yoongi, we can work through this.”

“You deserve better,” Yoongi assures him as he stands in the doorway. Yoongi hopes that Seokjin will understand, one day, when he’s found someone who can make him happy every day and make him feel like he’s on top of the world. Someone who can build up his confidence and make him feel loved enough to show his beautiful smile everyday. “You’ll understand soon.”
