Jessica clung on Taecyeon’s arm when the man driving carefully. It’s his birthday today, Jessica already gave the presents, about some New Balance’s newest stuffs. Taecyeon couldn’t stop his smile as he takes Jessica into his workplace

“Taec-ah, are you really can’t join me with Krystal to Hawaii?” Jessica asked when snuggled her nose into Taecyeon’s arm

“I’m so sorry, Babe. I have my concert as well”

“Hmm”

“Hey, don’t start again” Taecyeon pouted as Jessica giggled

“Hahahaha” Jessica laughed “I hope Singapore breeze is warm enough for me”

“Southeast Asia will be warm as always, Sooyeon”

“Yea yea” Jessica nodded “Babe, how if we live together? I already said to Krystal and she agreed for letting you live with me at the apartment and she will be moving back to our parent house”

As soon as Jessica mentioning about living together, Taecyeon’s body stiffen. He always avoided this topic and now Jessica raising by herself

“Babe, you know I will be in enlistment next year?”

“I know, that’s why I want you to live together with me. We rarely have time together and it will be easier for us to meet”

“How about my old place?”

“Taec?” Jessica release her hold and looking at Taecyeon “Why are you like this? Are you rejected my idea?”

“No, I mean… I’m not ready”

“For living together with me? I’m not asking you for marrying me right now!” Jessica raised her tone

“Sweetheart…” Taecyeon reached Jessica’s hand as they stop in the traffic light but Jessica yanked them

“Don’t…” Jessica inhaled deeply “Don’t touch me”

Taecyeon looks at her in disbelief, Jessica rejected his touch and her eyes are full of anger. Taecyeon was about to open his mouth when the light turned green and he must driving again

The rest of the trip is dead silent, Jessica torn her gaze to the window and Taecyeon locking his gaze to the road. When they arrived, Jessica reached her bag at the backseat as soon as possible before Taecyeon unbuckled his seatbelt

“I don’t need you to accompany me inside” Jessica hissed when Taecyeon was about to unbuckled his seatbelt

“Jessica, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to…”

“Stop!” Jessica yelled which make the security near them startled. But after seeing the Creative Director, he didn’t come to the them. Jessica already opened the door but Taecyeon holds her hand. Jessica just keep silent when Taecyeon leaned closer. Still being mad, Jessica turned her face and makes Taecyeon stopped on the middle

“It’s still my birthday…” Taecyeon looking down when Jessica sighed. She turns her face again and raised her boyfriend face with her index finger. Slowly, Jessica leaned closer and kissed Taecyeon’s lips. It’s just a peck and Taecyeon knew it

“I’ll see you soon” Jessica whispered before getting down from the car

“What?” Wooyoung saw his friend in disbelief, so does Nichkhun. They have meeting for preparing some solo’s stuff, beside Taecyeon, Wooyoung also had his solo after this.

“But Jessica left him before letting him talk about the reason” said Nichkhun while eyeing Taecyeon “I do believe Taecyeon has his own reason”

“Yeah…” Taecyeon sighed “Even my reason is because I’m not ready”

“Taec, for God Sake she just asked you for living together” Wooyoung scrubbed his hair in frustration

“But it almost near to ‘will you marry me?’ stuff, Wooyoungie” Nichkhun retorted “If Tiffany asked me for living together, I will assume as she wanted me to marry her”

“That’s Tiffany, not Jessica” Wooyoung added “As far as I know, Jessica didn’t mean though”

“I should talk to my parents and hers” said Taecyeon “I mean, I’m afraid she has an idea that I won’t be spend the rest of my life with her”

“She already had one, Taec” Wooyoung snorted

“You need to meet her before she’s having holiday on the early January, Taec” said Nichkhun “She would be run away if you don’t catch her right away”

“I do think Taec Oppa has the reason, Unnie” said Krystal to her sulking sister. Jessica isn’t in her mood since last week after their encounter and ended up badly. It’s already past new year but Jessica and Taecyeon didn’t meet each other for the time being

“What kind of reason then?” Jessica asked with her annoyed tone “He’s not ready for marrying me? For God Sake I’m not talking about marriage”

“Maybe Taec Oppa wanted it” Krystal shrugged her shoulders “I mean, he already prepared himself for being the best man for you”

“Okay now you take his side”

“I’m trying to be neutral here, Unnie”

“Okay” Jessica sighed in defeat “I want to drink some wine”

“I’ll take it for you” Krystal was about to walks into kitchen when the bell is ringing

“Are you expecting someone, Soojung?”

“Nope” the younger Jung shook her head “Let me see”

Krystal opened the door and find Tiffany are there. She let her eyesmile after Krystal let her in

“Tiff…” Jessica smiled after saw her best friend comes to the right time

“Khun told me about you and Taec, before” said Tiffany when she settled on the couch “I’m not trying to made up another story but Taec looks messy”
