That day he stayed up after reading the text, and started cooking breakfast for them once the sun was fully up. As he couldn't open the phone since it needed the password, the text still showed when Chanyeol the phone. Once he read it, he was messaging back at the table. 

Kyungsoo thought this was the perfect opportunity to bring it up. "What's up? Did something happen?" 

Chanyeol fidgeted," no, it's nothing. My parents want me to visit them cause they miss me. Ahhaha." 

'Liar...' Kyungsoo thought."oh really? Maybe you should." 

"No way! I want to spend as much time here with you and the others as possible. Plus I'm a trainee now, I can't waste time going back.... It might be too late..." Chanyeol looked at his phone again and started texting. 

Kyungsoo decided to just drop it since he was sure now that Chanyeol wouldn't tell him. 

 

Once they got to the front of the building, they saw Luhan waiting for them.

"Hey guys! D.Oshi I'm sorry for last night! There's nothing between me and Chanyeol! I swear! He was just being nice to me because I was crying..." 

"No it's fine. I really don't care. " Kyungsoo slightly smiled at him lifting the boys spirit up. 

 

When they started dance practice Kai decided that for today they would pick a partner and learn to make up their own dance. He decided to let the better group team up with one another while the slower team paired up with the Teachers. Tao Picked Suho, Kris picked Baekhyun, and Kai picked Chen which left Luhan and Chanyeol together. For Kyungsoo's team, him and Xuimin paired up while Lay and Sehun paired up. They were given 1 hour this time to complete the mission. 

While on break Kyungsoo couldn't help but worry for Chanyeol and so he kept staring at the boy from afar. Seeing this, Luhan whispered to Chanyeol,"I don't think Kyungsoo likes me much. " Chanyeol turned over to find Kyungsoo quickly turning his head the other way to avoid not looking back. After Chanyeol and Luhan went back to dancing, Kyungsoo continued to look at them. 

Kai came up to Kyungsoo, "yah, aren't you staring a little too much?" 

Kyungsoo turned his attention to Kai now, "no, I'm just making sure he's okay." Kyungsoo saw the bottle Kai was holding," yah, I want some." Kai gave him the water bottle. 

"Ehh! You're drinking too much!! Yahhh leave some for me-" Kyungsoo finished the water in one go. Luhan quickly turned back to see Kai smiling around with Kyungsoo. Although he was hurting he couldn't stop staring. 

"Luhanshi, why don't you just tell him the truth?" Chanyeol had realized what Luhan was staring at.

"I can't. I'm scared to. I know he doesn't feel the same way... He..." Feeling sorry for him, Chanyeol turned Luhan away from looking at the scene. He was face to face with Luhan now and put one hand on top of the other boy's shoulder," it's okay. You'll feel much better once you let your feelings go. Trust me." 

From Kyungsoo's point of view Chanyeol was too close to the other guy. Although ticked off, he dare not letting it show on the outside for it may cause too much attention. He quietly went back to work to avoid thinking about the scene he just saw. 

After they had all finished the class, Kyungsoo stayed behind once again for extra lessons. "You're getting better at this, but at times you're still thinking about taking it slow. You need to be more focus on the dance steps." Kai quickly began teaching Kyungsoo. After he finished reteaching the steps, he needed to use the restroom. " yah, keep practicing need to use the restroom really quick." As he walked towards the bathroom, once again he saw Luhan and Chanyeol standing around and talking. He walked up to them. "Luhan, I warned you didn't I?" Kai became very serious. Luhan was shock seeing Kai," it's not what you think-" 

"How many times do I have to repeat it, you can't mess around with him." 

Angry, Luhan exploded,"why?! Why can't I like Chanyeol? Just cause D.O likes him?! " 

Flustered at the situation Chnayeol tried to calm things down," wait, wait a minute-" He was cut off by Kai. "Yes, because D.O likes him you shouldn't mess around with someone who has a lover." 

"Why can't I when you're doing the same?!" Luhan was crying now. 

"What?" Chanyeol was looking at Luhan. 

"You still like D.O even though he has a lover." Luhan cried out. 

Fed up with him Kai grabbed Luhan's hand. " let's talk somewhere else. " but just then Chanyeol also grabbed Luhan's other hand. "No, if you have something to say about this say it here." 

Just then D.O had come out of the room to look for Kai when he witnessed the two boys holding onto Luhan. "What's going on?" 

They all turned to look at Kyungsoo, letting go of Luhan's wrists. 

Once again Luhan was being mistaken," D.Oshii this-" 

"I don't care." He flatly said while turning back around to head for the dance room. 

Everyone was now feeling awkward. Kai finally spoke up," Luhan. I'll talk to you later." He walked back to the dance room.

Luhan looked down almost crying," it's always my fault. I'm sorry Chanyeol for bringing problems to you." 

"No don't say that. It's just been really bad timing that's all. Kyungsoo understands." Chanyeol tried to comfort Luhan while trying to assure himself also that Kyungsoo wouldn't misunderstand.

 

Kai walked into the room seeing Kyungsoo practicing again. " why did you come out?" 

" you took too long so I came out looking for you." Kyungsoo didn't sound mad, but Kai knew him better than to be fooled. 

" Luhan is a good person. I don't want you to misunderstand him. He just isn't thinking right at this moment, but he really is a good kid. Don't hate him," Kai tried to defend the boy. 

" I'm not mad at either of them. I have no reasons to. But," He looked at Kai." I don't want you to work Chanyeol too hard, please." 

Confused Kai asked why. Kyungsoo replied back," because he's sick. I don't know what's going on at the moment, but I don't want him to get worse by over working."

"If I let him slack off, then there was no point of even having these extra lessons with you." Kyungsoo pleaded with his eyes. "Tsk, araso, I'll see what I can do..." Kyungsoo thanked him. After they had finished, Kyungsoo walked out and saw Chanyeol waiting for him outside in the cold." What's this? You could've just waited for me inside." 

"No it's my punishment for letting you see that. I hope understand that you come at really bad timings. " 

Kyungsoo smirked," maybe it's not just a coincidence that I keep seeing that. Maybe God's trying to tell me to get a new person in my life." 

"Eyyy, don't say that!! " Chanyeol pouted. He quickly embraced Kyungsooo." It's cold tonight, let's go home quickly. " 

"Yeah." He hugged the tall boy back. 

To be honest, he was upset but if he were to show it, it would go against what he had told Chanyeol. He had to be understanding because he knew how it felt like to be misunderstood. He had to trust that Chanyeol wasn't that kind of person. What's more important to him at the moment was Chanyeol's  health anyways. 

 

They continued to train for the next couple of weeks. Once school had started they trained right after classes, quiting all their clubs after SME talked to the school about their casting. 

In class, the teacher decided to switch seats. Chanyeol and Kyungsoo both glanced at eachother. Both were feeling nervous as they were already accustom to being next to eachother. Many girls already tried to bribe the teacher to let them sit next to Chanyeol. 

Fortunately Lay and Kyungsoo had became rowmates in the back,but Chanyeol became rowmates with a female student up in the front row. Just his luck. He looked back at Kyungsoo who was smirking at him. 

 

At lunch Baekhyun was complaining about how much he hated his new rowmate. Apparently a lot of the teachers decided to have their class switch seats. "Yah, at least you got a girl, I have an annoying guy who wouldn't stop talking about !" Said Chen. 

"I have D.O" said Lay. They started to complain about how lucky he was. While the group was talking, Kyungsoo kept noticing Chanyeol texting. He then got a phone call. 

"Oops, I'll be back." Chanyeol walked outside of the room. 

"I need to use the restroom.." Said Kyungsoo. He immediately followed Chanyeol outside. He walked slower to make sure Chanyeol didn't notice him. 

" mom, I won't go back." "I can't." "Not yet." "I don't want to go, it's no point since he already said that. " "I don't care anymore. I'm happy here." "Mom." "...""no... I wanna stay with someone." "Yeah, I found somebody... I don't want to leave them." "No don't come. I have to train anyways I won't have time for YouGuys." "Yeah that's why I'm staying. I want to do this as my last wish.""..." "Thank you mom." "Love you too, bye." 

Chanyeol suddenly felt a weird vibe. He turned around quickly, but saw nothing so he walked back into the room. Kyungsoo hid behind some tall bushes listening to the whole conversation. He was certain of his theory. Although he was scared, he remained calm as to not let Chanyeol catch him. 

 

 

 

All of a sudden D.O's nose started bleeding. 

"Yah! You're bleeding?!" Baekhyun yelled. 

Kyungsoo barely took notice of it, he was too focused on looking at Chanyeol carrying Luhan. 

"I'm okay..." He said while Kai gave him his hankerchief. 

"Why is your head forming a bump?" Kai touched the red bump. 

"Ah! Stop! That's hurts. I think Luhan elbowed me when he fell on top of me. " 

Kai looked at Kyungsoo and grabbed his shoulders," does your head hurt?!"

"No, I'm fine. I probably just need to ice it." 

"That's weird of Chanyeol... Shouldn't he be worrying about Kyungsoo instead? " asked Tao. Chen hit him as a signal for him to be quiet. 

"No it's fine. He did the right thing. Luhan was hurt worst," Kyungsoo calmly said. "Let's keep playing." Kyungsoo said. Kris was feeling really guilty about the incident, and they all tried to console him. 

 

That night Kyungsoo came outside and sat on the patio. He was busy finding peace in both his ears and heart. He couldn't stop thinking about Chanyeol and Luhan. Although he was jealous, he knew Chanyeol did the right thing .  

Kai came outside looking for him. "You feeling better now?" He sat down next to Kyungsoo.

"It doesn't hurt at all. "

 Kai stared at Kyungsoo. "Oh really?" He pressed into the bump. 

"Ah! Yah!!!" Kai started laughing but Kyungsoo suddenly chokehold him.

"Ouch, okay okay." Even after Kyungsoo released him, he kept laughing. "You said it didn't hurt anymore, I just wanted to confirm it," Kai joking said.

Kyungsoo started smiling too," ofcourse it hurts when you touch it. I meant I don't feel it pounding anymore." 

Luhan who had came out at that moment, witnessed the two being close to one another and laughing. He slowly closed the door, and ran up to his room. Chanyeol, who was already in the room with his Guitar, was shocked. "Y-yah, why are you crying?" 

Luhan tried to wipe his tears," Noo, I'm fine..." 

"It's obvious you're not. What happened?" Luhan just had to let it all out.

" I saw Kai with D.O laughing together. He never did that around me. He never did that around anyone. For the past years with him, he has always been serious and even when we had breaks he would insist to stay and practice more. But just cause Kyungsoo is here, he totally changed into someone I don't know anymore..." Luhan looked up at Chanyeol," He doesn't care nor like me.. He likes D.O, Chanyeol! And you... You're so nice to me and you care for me... Just like how I always wanted Kai to...Chanyeolah! Kiss me! Can't you do that for me at most?" Luhan was desperately clutching onto Chanyeol who was trying to escape. 

"Luhan. I like Kyungsoo. I can't do that for you." Chanyeol tried to leave, but Luhan suddenly pulled down his neck," please just once, be my Kai." Luhan Kissed him. 

Kyungsoo was wondering where Chanyeol was, he went to the living room," have YouGuys seen Chanyeol?"

"I think he was grabbing his guitar upstairs to play us music," said Suho.

Kyungsoo walked into the room,"Chanyeolah, let's-" he took at step back as he saw Chanyeol and Luhan kissing. Chanyeol pushed Luhan away and yelled," I told you no! " Luhan was staring somewhere else. Chanyeol turned around, finding Kyungsoo. "Ky-" he didn't finished as he saw Kyungsoo sprint away. "Kyungsooah!!!" He ran after the boy. 

All the members were surprised as they saw Kyungsoo run down the stairs and slamming the front door, then a split second later they saw Chanyeol also run out the door. 

"Wow, they barely started dating and they're already fighting?! " Sehun laughed. 

"Yah, they're not like us, we never have problems~" Baekhyun replied back leaving the rest of the members to forget the other two while they expressed their disgust towards Baekhyun and Sehun.Suspicious,Kai walked up to the room and saw Luhan on the floor, crying. He stood above him," you... What did you do? " Kai whispered. 

Shocked, Luhan looked up," don't... ha-te me please," Luhan cried. Sighing, Kai immediately tried to turn back and follow Kyungsoo, but Luhan held onto his legs. " don't leave me..don't go to Kyungsoo. Please!" Luhan yelled. Kai bent down to eye level with Luhan. 

"What did you do?" He calmly asked. "I won't get mad, Luhan. I promise. " Luhan stared at him," I - I kissed Chanyeol! " Tears started running down his face again. Shocked, Kai stood up to leave, worrying again for Kyungsoo. Luhan, this time, backhugged him. "Don't... leave... for him please. Stay with me... I.. like.. you Kai." Kai, who was about to pull Luhan's hands, threw his own hands down unsure of what to do now.

 

Kyungsoo just ran. He didn't know where to go, he just wanted to leave behind all he saw. Without thinking much, he ran to the ocean. 

"Kyungsoo!!!! " Chanyeol ran behind him. Luckily, he was able to catch up to him. He tried to pull him out."Are you crazy?! " he started yelling. 

"Let go." Kyungsoo whispered while looking at the ground. He was unable to focus. Chanyeol grabbed his shoulders," kyungsooah, listen to me! There really is nothing between me and Luhan. He kissed me all of a sudden. Please believe me! I only like you! " Kyungsoo stared up blankly into Chanyeol's eyes, his own blurred from tears that had formed," I.... don't care... I trust you..." He tried to smile. Chanyeol's heart sunk. "Kyungsooah." 

Kyungsoo just kept repeating. " I trust you.. I trust you... I trust you..." Chanyeol started crying also. He fell down to his knees and hugged Kyunhsoo's waist. 

"I'm sorry. I did wrong. I'm sorry. Kyungsoo. I'm sorry." 

 

He had broken his promise...

Writers note: lmfao! These pairings are unexpected!!!! I actually messed up in the beginning, and so I can't fix the pairings! Please bare with me! Ahhaha. Besides, my main focus is Chansoo so it's actually a good thing I don't have any real pairings. I was actually thinking about ChanBaek, but I felt too bad for Kyungsoo, Ughhh Dedication here. Ahhaha.
