It’s funny, how those stealing glances makes one fall in love.

It all started when he suddenly register in our class, after second semester started. I did recognise him. He was quite famous for his good looks but sadly no one dared to approach him.

I mean, girls.

He was this good looking guy but kinda mute when it was about girls.

It was the first day of the semester. I was chatting with my friends. We were joking and laughing, sharing our holiday’s stories.

And then he came through that door.

I turned around, looking at the door entrance.

And we locked eyes for the first time.

I quickly looked away and pretended to joke with my friends.

But then, I stole a glance on him, as he sat way too far from me. He was seated at the right corner with his group of friends, and I sat at the left corner with my friends.

What am I doing?

I shook my head and smiled. I turned back my focus to my friends.

That was my first time I stole a glance on him; Min Yoongi.

Yoongi

I never really paid attention to girls. I just felt comfortable with my friends. Until I accidentally locked eyes with her.

It all started when I registered in her class during second semester. I followed my friends as they entered the class.

And we locked our eyes for the first time.

I quickly looked away, pretending that I was talking with my friends.

But I look at her again. She was seated at the left corner of the class, while I sat at the right corner of the class.

I couldn’t help but to smile when I saw her smiling as she talked with her friends.

Yah Min Yoongi wake up!

I shook my head and joined my friends in their chat.

That was my first time I stole a glance on her; Song Jihyo.

3RD MONTH OF 2ND SEMESTER

Jihyo.

It was the day we were supposed to present our project. I was nervous but not as much as my friend did. They kept on revising their notes while I just calmly sit at my usual place. I was not that worried, probably because I was better in English than most of my classmates. Not to brag, but that’s the truth. Teheeee.

I was busy helping my friends practising when he entered the class. We locked eyes, again, but I didn’t care much. I felt my heart raced a little faster than the normal way it did. I don’t know why. I just…

I don’t know.

“Yah, Jihyo. Your face is red. What’s wrong?” I shook my head and flashed a smile to my friends.

What am I even thinking?

We locked eyes, again. It was always that way. I don’t know why but I couldn’t help myself to always look at her. It’s like I was attracted. It’s pretty hard since she sat behind, and I was at the right side of the class and she was at the left side of the class.

“Yah, Jihyo. Your face is red. What’s wrong?” I looked to her and saw her shaking her head and smiled.

Is she sick?

“Min Yoongi. Who are you looking at?” Jin, one of my friends asked me.

“Nothing.” I took out my notes and pen, getting ready for the presentation.

The best part of today’s presentation was that, I got to look at her for almost 20minutes. Seeing her reading through her notes, settling the laptop for presentation, speaking in English and how she would her lips and stick out her tongues just amused me. And I found myself blushed with that simple act of her.

“Min Yoongi you’ve been smiling like crazy. I’m so curious of who you’re looking at.” Jimin whispered to my ears. My smile faded away and I faked a cough.

“No one. Just focused. We’re up next.” I whispered back and pretended to focus on studying, when actually, I was just focusing on looking at her.

Finally, it was our turn. I was determined to speak with her. Well, not about asking her out or something. Just, randomly talk. I was walking towards the laptop to settle up our presentation, and she was standing next to me, not too far. Not too close. I felt my heart raced too fast that I had to hold my chest. I opened my mouth, but nothing came out.

! What the heck is wrong with me!

“Jihyo-yah, can we use your laptop for our presentation?” Jungkook suddenly spoke up and took the flash drive from me. She looked at me and stepped a few steps back. She looked to Jungkook and gave a smile to him.

“Make sure to buy me lunch.” Jungkook laughed and gave a thumb up, making her laughed.

“I was just joking. Sure go ahead.” She smiled and took her notes to go to her seat, but was stopped by Jungkook.

“But I’m serious. Friday? Lunch on me?” She was stunned for a while but then she smiled.

“Alright then, if you insist.”

Why aren’t you the one who ask me out, Yoongi?

Well, but it’s okay. Jungkook is kinda hot too. Hotter than Yoongi actually, but I had to say, Yoongi appealed to me more than Jungkook.

“Did the mighty Jeon Jungkook just ask you out? OMG Song Jihyo!”

“Guys stop it. He was just being nice. I was just joking but I guess he’s the type to take it seriously.”

“I don’t care. I’ll think that he’s into you.”

“Whatever. Whatever.” I looked in front, focusing on the next presentation, Min Yoongi’s presentation. I didn’t know why I was attracted to this guy. I just found everything about him were my attraction. His English accent when he spoke English, the way he walked without caring others, and just talked to his friends, the way he would focus in the class, and simply answers the questions that the lecturer asked like, he knew everything, or the way we would sometimes locked eyes. I didn’t know. I just like everything about him.

But I guess, he never felt the same way I did.

“You look…. Simple.” I laughed out loud.

“What? You think I would dress up? Hell no.” I joked. Jungkook laughed too. He was fetching me for our lunch date.

“No. I like what you’re wearing now.” I blushed. What was he hinting at, actually?

“Let’s go.”

I must say, the lunch date with Jungkook was so fun. We talked like we had known each other for years. His stupid jokes really went well with my tastes.

“I never know you are this fun! Gosh you’re so mute in the class and I thought that you hate boys. But I am obviously wrong.” His remarks made me chuckled.

“I take that as a compliment.”

“I wonder what Yoongi is thinking right now.”

“What were you saying?” I asked Jungkook.

“Nothing. I didn’t say anything.”
