Fragment from the past

Sooyoung's POV

After that phone call from my uncle, I ignored all his calls and messages to me. It's been a week and I've been trying to avoid my uncle in every way that I can. I couldn't care if he will hit me again. If I only know from the start that I will live with him, I wish I was never been born at all.

I went to the news channel alone today because Yoona has to review on her final exam. The director greeted me.

"Hello Soo, you look beautiful today." director said

"Thank you" I said with a smile

"Okay Soo, it's your queue now."

 I nodded and start reporting as I usually do...

Recruiter's POV

I woke up early in the morning. I made my coffee and watch the news channel. I waited for their weather segment to start like I always used to.

"Good morning everyone, this is Choi Sooyoung and I'm here to report about the weather forecast today..."

Choi Sooyoung, how can you smile like that after what you've done to me? I guess you lived your life happily by betraying other people.

You're going down Choi, just you wait.

Sooyoung's POV

Right after on my segment, I went directly to the office.

I saw Taeyeon standing so far from Miss Hwang who's sited at the chair near my desk. Taeyeon seems to be annoyed at Miss Hwang? Hehe. Cute

"Oh, Miss Hwang, What are you doing here early in the morning?” I asked

"I noticed you haven't said anything on our deal. You know, it's been a week." Miss Hwang reminded me with an eye smile.

I didn't say a word.

"uhm,  I guess you need more time to think about it but anyway your uncle already approve and so Leo and I. We're just waiting for your confirmation."

"To tell you honestly,  I don't want this project..." I said but I was cut off

"Well, consider it. After all it's for a charity work. Don't you like helping other people Sooyoung?"  She asked

I am already helping you, you know that.

I just nodded and sat at my swivel chair.

"Miss Choi, here are the files that you have asked for me yesterday." Taeyeon said

"Okay, just leave it there." I told her without looking at her

"Do you need Taeyeon in your office now?" Miss Hwang asked

"Why?" I asked

"I was wondering if she can come with me. You know her birthday is tomorrow,  I would like to treat her today since I can't be around tomorrow." she said with an eye smile

"Okay" I answered

Taeyeon has been working for me for a long time. She can use a break.

I saw Taeyeon standing there like a frozen statue.

"Uhm Taeyeon...You may leave now” I said to her

"T-thank you M-miss Choi." she's stuttering again

"Y-you're we-welcome?" I jokingly said to her and smile

Tiffany dragged her away.

Since Taeyeon was not around and Yoona too, I asked Yuri to do
