Hysteria

Sunny's POV

It's been 2 weeks since Sooyoung hasn't appeared in the office yet. She disappeared after she gave the contract to Tiffany. I wonder where she is.  I hope she's okay. I miss her presence here in the office. 

"Youngie, where are you? I miss you." I said to myself

I tried to look for her in her house but she's not there. I told the eyes to look for her but they cannot see where she is. She's not appearing at the news station as well. 

 I almost gave my hopes up in looking for her but it was a gloomy afternoon when she arrived at the Lee Corp. I was at the lobby in that moment when she walks in. Every employee have been staring at her as she's walking towards the elevator.

She changed a lot. She cut her hair short a bob cut and she's wearing casual clothes, just a simple sweat shirt, pants and a rubber shoes. She's wearing a cap and a shade. I can see that she's not even wearing a makeup even a lipstick though she looks pretty as herself. It's just too simple. This is weird. She always wears formal office attire every time she comes here. She entered the elevator. I tried to run towards the elevator but I was late. It closed already.

I used the employees elevator and went towards her office, I saw her there. Fixing her things. Weird, she change and wanted to change her office too?

"Oh, Miss Lee." she said as she continued fixing her things

Miss Lee? She always calls me Sunny. What's the matter with her...

"You looked different." I said to her

"Oh? Sorry for wearing casual clothes. But this will be my last day here so I guess it doesn't matter anymore." she said as she continued packing her stuffs on the box she's holding

"W-What do you mean?" I asked

"Here" she gave me an enveloped

I opened it

"R-Resignation letter?" I asked

"Yeah, you win. I'm out of here." she said as she smiled to me

"Y-You can't resign!" I said to her

She looked at me and raised her eyebrows

"Isn't this what you want to happen?" she asked

"N-Not anymore..." I said 

She stared at me

"Youngie, does your uncle hurt you again?" I asked

She didn't said anything

"Youngie, don’t come back to him again. Come to me, I'll keep you safe." I said sincerely

"You're not safe with me." she said

"I'm not afraid of Mr. Will. I want to take care of you, I want to be there for you!" I said

"I'm not a good person Sunny..." she said

"If it's because of what you did in the past to me,  I forgive you. If it's because of how you deceived other people before,  I'll help you change! Youngie... Please, come to me.' I said

"Sunny, you don't know me. You don't know what I did!" she said

"I know enough, and I am willing to accept you!" I said

"Sunny...I am bad and evil. You cannot accept me..." she said as she cried

"Youngie..." I said

"Sunny...I killed a man before...I'm a monster and a murderer!" she said as she weep 

I wasn't able to say anything, I was shocked. I didn't know how to react. There's silence between the two of us for a few minutes. All I hear is her sobbing. It's brave of her to confess what she did to me. I want to hear her side this time.

"W-What happened?" I asked

"..."

"..."

"I killed a man... The shark loan master. But Sunny, I swear I didn't mean to. He tried to molest me and..." she speaks but I cut her off

"Sssh... It's okay Youngie,  it's okay." I said to her as I hugged her. She continued to cry

"Sunny... I deserve to be in jail like my uncle told me..." she cried

"Youngie,  I am a lawyer, I can help you..." I said

"What you did is clearly a self defense..." I said to her

"I still killed him..." she cried

"I'll make sure to defend you and put Mr. Will in jail for hurting you." I promised to her

"Please don't..." she said

"Why?" I asked

"He's my father." she cried again

"But h-how? He hurts you and taught you evil things!" I said in shocked

She told me what Bobby said to her. I was shocked. How could Mr. Will do it on his own daughter?!?

"Youngie, stay with me. I'll help you live again. I'll make sure that no one will hurt you again." I said as I dried her tears using my hands

She nodded

We hugged each other. The feeling of longing for the past few years was melted away in just one hug. I finally got my best friend back. We talked to each other for an hour about what happened on our lives. We tried to listen and understand each other. This time,  we're starting a new blooming relationship again. I'll make sure it's for keeps.

I told her about the eyes.  I do not see her as an enemy anymore. I see her as someone very important to me. We went down on the cafeteria afterwards to eat. We saw Tiffany and Taeyeon at the lobby. Gosh, she’s been frequently visiting the company because of Taeyeon.  As usual, Tiffany's clinging to her precious Taeng.

Sooyoung greeted Taeyeon and Tiffany.

"So I see,  you took my advice." Sooyoung said as she smiled to Taeyeon

"M-Miss Choi, you look p-pretty in your new hairc-cut..." Taeyeon said as she blushed

Tiffany pinched Taeyeon's ears

"Aaaaw! Fany, what’s wrong with you?!?" Taeyeon said

"HOW DARE YOU SAY SHE'S PRETTY IN FRONT OF YOUR GIRLFRIEND?!?" Tiffany yelled at Taeyeon

"But it's true!" Taeyeon said

"Gosh, you’re so dumb and stupid." Tiffany said as she rolled her eyes on Taeyeon

"Tae, your girlfriend's jealous." Sooyoung said as she smiled<
