Chapter 5

The Stone and the Maker

Another day has passed, Sooyoung is at her home. She went outside her house and sit at the door step. As a weather forecaster she predicted the weather right, it's started to rain. When she was younger, she always wish for a sunny day but now she likes rainy day. It's like the sky sympathized with her every time it rains. She watches the droplets of water as it reaches the ground as she reminisced memories that she will never forget.

 Soo is a weather reporter on a quite famous news channel. Being a weather reporter is the only thing that she has right now that she has passion on doing.

MAMA

 When she was a kid she usually look up on the sky with her mother. Soo and her mother had always having a game of predicting whether it will rain the next day or it will be sunny. Her mother loves looking at the stars and sky and has interest on looking at the earth's atmosphere being a meteorologist herself, while sitting at the door steps.

 "Mama, it's sunny today!" Soo pointed the sky towards her mother

"Alright Youngie, you win." her mother chukled.

 "What's my prize Mama?" Soo grinned

 "Prize? I don't remember having a deal about prize." her mother chuckled

 She saw young Soo pout and she chuckled again at the cute sight... She continued to speak.

 "Hmmm... How about some ice cream?"

 "ICE CREAM MAMA, YES! YES! YES!" young Soo shouted and dance dorkily.

 Her mother laughs out loud and said

 "Alright my Dorky Youngie, let's go."

 On Soo's birthday her mother gave her a bracelet with cute little pink stars on it

 "MAMA! STARS! CUTE!!!" Soo beamed her brightest smile to her mother

 She likes it; she shares the same passion as her mother.

 "Thank you Mama! I love you!" young Soo kissed her mother and her mother hugged her and said

 "You're always welcome Youngie. I'll always be beside you" her mother promised

 She raised Soo herself alone, without a father. Sadly, it stopped when Soo was five. Her mother died and she was suddenly an orphan. The only thing that was left for her was the pink starred bracelet that her mother bought to her when her mother was still alive. SUNSHINE

 Having no distant relative around, she was brought on an orphanage named "Angel's for kids" orphanage. The orphanage seeks to educate the children and find them parents that will love them and take care of them. In Angel's for kids, Soo felt again the love that she lost when her mother died. She felt at home.

  "Hey!" the little girl with a pink bunny ponytail called her.

 "Hi." young Soo replied.

 "I am Sunny, What's your name?" the little girl said with her eye smile

 "Youngie" Soo smiled

 But, As the saying goes "All good thing come to an end." One night, the orphanage that Soo called home suddenly was perished by fire. Soo at that time was suddenly not only an orphan but also became homeless. Soo survived the fire with her friend Sunny, two years younger than her. They wander around the streets for some time. Soo was sad because of the event that occurred but she was thankful enough that Sunny's by her side. At that moment she swears to protect Sunny all her life. The one and only left for her. She thinks that as long Sunny's by her side, she's still home. She can still feels home.

 Sunny and young Soo made a pact.
