Dreamland

Sunny's POV

Mr. Will pointed the gun and shoot me, I thought it's the end of my life but Youngie covered me. She was shot by her own father.

"YOUNGIE!!!" I said in shocked

I tried to wake her up but she's already unconscious, I asked Yonghwa to help me bring Youngie to the hospital, leaving the shocked cane man alone in the building. We rushed Youngie to the nearest hospital. I waited and waited for her operation to be over. I almost spend the night in the hospital. Finally,  the doctor went out of the room.

"Doctor, how is she?" I said worriedly

"We managed to remove the bullet in her body but her injury is quite severe. She's still unconscious. We'll keep her monitored.

It's been 4 days, but Youngie hasn't wake up yet. My friends help me by taking turns on the hospital, bringing me food and clothes. Today, Tiffany, Seohyun and Jessica visited me.

"How is she?" Tiffany asked

"The doctor told me chances are getting small for her to wake up. Her body's not fighting anymore." I said as I teared up a bit

"Sssh. Sunny, Sooyoung will make it. Just don't lose hope. Yesterday, Yuri and I went to the church with Seohyun and Yoona to pray her over." Jessica said as she hugged me

"Yes, Sunny. Don't lose hope. Okay?" Seohyun said

"Did you eat already?" Tiffany asked

"Not yet." I said

"Good thing I asked Krystal and Jinri to buy you food. But I wonder what's taking them so long." Tiffany said as she thinks

Tiffany's phone rang. She went out of the room to answer it and came back in panic.

"Sunny, Krystal and Jinri said that Mr. Will is down stairs." Tiffany said

WHAT DOES HE WANT NOW? AIN'T ALL OF THIS ENOUGH?!?

"Sica, Seohyun...please watch over Youngie for a while." I said as I made my way downstairs to face Mr.Will.

I saw Krystal and Jinri blocking Mr. Will from coming up.

"You cannot enter sir." Krsytal said

"WHY CAN'T I ENTER?!? THAT'S MY DAUGHTER IN THE ICU!!!" Mr.Will said

"The daughter you shot with your own hands? Really, Are you for real?!?I'll sue you for attempted murder to me and Youngie!" I said to him as I faced him.

"I-I did not intend to shoot her! I’m her father, let me through!!!" Mr. Will said

"What kind of father will hurt and physically abuse his own daughter? What kind of father will teach his own daughter to deceive other people and makes her a criminal. Mr. Will, just what kind of father are you?" I said

"I-I just want my daughter to have a good life." he said as he looked down

"Well to tell you Mr. Will,  the court ordered the Youngie will go to prison when she wakes up there in the ICU because of the fraud contracts she made for you but I will defend her with all my might. Is that a good life for her Mr. Will?" I said

"No...Please...let me through,  I just want to see my daughter even just this once." he said as he looked down. I can see tears in her eyes

"Okay, just this once." I said as I gestured to Krystal and Jinri to let him through

We entered Youngie's room. He asked for some few minutes of privacy which I gave to him.

Mr. Will’s POV

I saw my daughter on the hospital bed lying lifeless. I almost want to break down. All this years I hurt her and disciplined her. I thought her how to deceived people. It's all because of I don't want her to experience what I've been through. 

Her mother became pregnant in her early years and we got married early. We tried to build a family but I do not have a proper job to support them. I learned that her mother was cheating on me and I hurt her mother as a result. Her mother left me and took her away from me. When her mother left me,  my whole world turns up side down. She left me because I do not have money. I become a thief and later on a head of a syndicate. I learned that her mother passed away and she was put in an orphanage. I tried to find her but the orphanage was set on fire. I thought my daughter is dead. Then I learned that she was with Bobby and Bobby has debts on my shark loan. 

I used that opportunity to regain my custody to my child. I asked for her childhood friend to be parted with her because I do not want her to grow up soft and stupid like I was before. I made her believe she killed a man for her to come to me.  I saw her face, she grow up looking like her mother.Everytime I see her face,  I remember how her mother cheated on me with a different man so I hurt her a lot of times. I imposed tighter discipline on her. I thought her how to use her brain and left her heart on a shelf.

Seeing her lying and almost dying because of me, I realized a lot of things.

"Soo my child...Your father's here." I said as I held her hands

"I'm sorry if I made your life miserable like mine..." I cried

"I love you child,  please come back and wake up...I won't let you go to prison because of me...If you wake up there,  I'll change my ways and won't hurt you again...I'm sorry child...I'm sorry" I said as I cried and kissed her forehead

I went out of the room and talked to Miss Lee.

"Miss Lee, I’ll admit my faults and crimes." I said

This is the only way I will be able to fulfill my duty as her father.

Sunny's POV

3 days have passed since Mr. Will admitted his faults at the court. Youngie hasn't wake up yet. The doctor has told me that I should prepare myself for the worst thing that can happen. I talked to Youngie like I always do.

"Youngie...I miss you, please wake up" I said as I sat beside her while holding her hands

"Don't go away from me again, don’t leave..." I teared up

"I love you..."I whispered in her

Sooyoung's POV

I woke up in a green grass land, the sky is blue and the sun shines so bright. I saw a lady waving at me. I stood up and walk closely to see her. Her hair was long and curly hazel colored and she was wearing a dress pure as white.

I looked at her to see her full face and I saw it.

She was my mother.

"Youngie!" she called me

That voice,  I missed it so much.

"Mama!" I cried as I run to her and hugged her.

"I miss you... Why did you leave me?" I said as I continued to sob

"Youngie, look at me... Some events in life were bound to happen, it’s not always happy but it's not always sad as well. The reason they happened is that they have to make you strong." she said as she patted my head

"But Mama I'm tired... I'm exhausted..."I said while sobbing
