Expectations and Assumings that Leads to False Hope

Yoona's POV

I'm in the school library with my friend Raina...

"Yoong, what’s up with you? You look weird and different." she asked me

"Oh, don’t mind me. I'm fine." I said to her with a smile

"Eh? Come on. Just tell me. That's why friends are made so that we can have someone to unload our burdens." she said

"It's a long complicated story." I said

"Well, I got time." she said persistently

"Fine, I’ll tell you." I said with a sigh

FLASHBACK BACK BEFORE I BECAME THIS WEIRD

Mean while in the I Will Corp while Yuri, Taeyeon and I were on our office doing our respective jobs...

"Uhm...Yoong, I think Miss Choi asked you to read current events not gossips and rumors on the news papers." Yuri said with a grin

"Well gossip and rumors are current events too you know."  I said as I merong on her

"You have a point." Taeyeon agreed with me

"Well, just prepare yourself with the VP." Yuri merong back

"Don't worry Yul, I mastered all the news a while ago. I'll do well!" I said confidently

"That's what I like about you Yoong, so confident!" Yul clapped her hands

"Yeah, let’s see what will happen later,  you know words are just words,  got to put it on reality you know." Taeyeon said

"You're so right Tae!" Yuri high five with Taeyeon

I pouted

Seohyun arrived inside.

"Hello Yul, Taetae and Yoong!" she greeted in enthusiastic manner

"Hello Juju..." Taeyeon said

"Hi Seo." Yuri

"Hello Hyun!"I said

"Taeyeon, can you give these documents on the revision team?" Seohyun said

"Oh, sure Juju." Taeyeon said as she gets the documents

"Hyun, here is your keroro cd." I said to her as I passed her the cd

"Have you watched it?" she asked

"Yeah, it’s super awesome!" I exclaimed

"I know right?" she said

"Gee, what’s so cool about frogs?" Yuri said

"They're green?" Taeyeon guessed

"It's not an ordinary frog, it’s a super hero!" Seohyun pointed out

"Have you tried watching Hulk? He's a super hero too and a green creature too." Yul said

"Eh? His body is too big and he ain't cute at all." she defended

"Yeah, and the next thing we'll know is that you made a Lettuce a super hero too." Taeyeon said

"Right, she’s health conscious!" Yuri said

Both Yuri and Taeyeon laugh out loud

She pouted. Hehe cute.

Someone knocked at the door

"Oh,  Yoona. Miss Choi is calling you in her office."Krystal said

"Oh, right. I'll go there now." I said in panic

"Let's go together, I’ll go to the executive floor too." Seohyun said as she smiles

"Alright." I said as I smiled back to her.

We ride the elevator together she insisted to carry the newspapers I'm holding. I'm a bit touched by her nice gesture.

"Do you want to have some coffee sometime?" I asked

"Sure, Where and what time?" she smiled

"hmmm... I don't know if what time I will finish my papers today..." I said as I think

"Well, anywhere and anytime is fine with me... Just text me about it." she smiled

We went out the elevator and before we depart,  I realized something.

"Uhm, Hyun... I just realized that I still don't have your number." I said to her

"Oh sure, here it is..." she said as she dictates me her number

"Thanks, so I'll see you around?" I said

"Okay." she said

And I went to Miss Choi's office right after.

After my duty in the office, I went to the bus stop. Waiting for a bus so that I can go to my evening class. I only have one subject tonight but it's quite important because I have a test tonight.

My class will start at 7pm; I’ve been waiting for the bus for 30 minutes already. A bus finally came but it did not stop. Gosh, damn you driver! I know you had seen me!!!

I can't be late. I cannot walk to my school because it's too far from here. I do not know what to do.

A car stopped in front of me. The owner opened the window and greeted me.

"Oh,  Yoong! You have a class tonight?" Seohyun said

"Yes...but I can't get a bus." I said with a sigh

"Well, Come on in, I’ll give you a lift to your school." she said with a smile

Oh My Gosh, thank you Hyunnie, You're my savior!

"Thank you very much; I hope I'm not a burden or something." I said as I get in

"Ah, Nonsense! You'll never be a burden to me." she said as she tapped my head.

Weird, her statement sounds good to me. She's really nice and kind.

She talks a lot while she was driving, she’s really funny and we have a lot of common interest about things and other aspects of life.

While she was driving I can't help to stare at her, so far this is the closest proximity that I have seen her face. I mean, I know she's pretty the first time I saw her in the office but I never thought she looks like this up close, so beautiful and glowing.

She dropped me in the school and I thanked her then I rushed to my class... Thank God I wasn't late. I sit beside my best friend Raina.

"Yoong, did you review your notes?" Raina asked

"U-huh, I’ll do well!" I said to her with confidence

"Well, let's have a bet. If you get higher score than me, I’ll do your home work for a week but if I get higher score than you, you’ll do mine." she said

Well, I reviewed my notes anyway so I got this.

"Deal." I said to her

The professor gave us the test. I looked at the questions,  I studied this topic a while ago but I could not remember anything. Gosh, I guess I left my brain on Seohyun's car. I tried to answer it but after a minute I raised up the white flag as I cried silently in defeat. Gosh,  I hope Raina will have a mental block or amnesia right now...I do not want to do Raina's homework for a week!

The teacher asked us to passed the papers, he checked it immediately and gives it back to us. I feel like I'm being judge right now. The verdict came and I looked at my paper's result...
