As Eunji go, Mark was still standing at his previous position. It was 10 PM and there were not much people was left at the park. He’s still waiting for her to come back there. He’s still waiting for her to change her mind. He’s still waiting for her to change her previous decision and go to LA on Sunday. He already stood there for almost an hour, but Eunji was never showing up again.

“You are a pabo, Mark Tuan. She told you clearly that she wanted to break up with you. What are you thinking about now?” he said sadly as he let out a deep sigh.

Sometimes, everything was not good as it seemed. He was wrong. He thought that Eunji would always be on his side and they go together forever. He thought that Eunji loved him the way he loved her. But, he was wrong now – he thought.

Mark widened his eyes and threw his gaze around. He checked his surrounding over and over again. But, it didn’t change the fact that there was no his ex-GF’s presence anymore.

Mark’s eyes were wet when he started to leave the park and walked sadly with his head down. He has been expecting and dreaming about his beautiful future with her. It must feel so good. They had been talked as the best couple in their college. Their parents already knew each other. He thought that he was lucky with his love’s life. But, in the end, it was the reversal of his previous fortune.

Mark left the park and he didn’t realize that someone was still watching him from an hour ago just a few meters away from his previous place.

Jung Eunji was looking at him from afar. Her knees suddenly felt weak and she couldn’t help but crying. She looked down and tried hard for not letting the tears comes up, but she failed. Tears rolled down on her cheeks then it fell to the ground.

“I’m sorry that I’ve hurt you, Mark,” she whispered to herself as she wiped her tears away.

She kept standing at the back of the big tree trunk and watched him leave. For a moment, she really wanted to run after him and gave him a back hug tightly. She wanted to tell him and yell to the world that she never fell out of love with him. She wanted to tell him that she still loved him so much till her heart hurt. But she knows that she couldn’t.

“I’m sorry Mark… I am a bad girlfriend for you… You deserved to be happy… You deserved to catch your dream… without me…”

2 days later, Mark arrived at the airport with Jinyoung and Jaebum. He was showing a hesitation as he was about to walk in to the airport. Jaebum gazed at him and asked, “Are you still waiting for something, hyung?”

Mark shook his head, “No. I am not.” Mark tried to form a smile, the very thin one, on his face toward Jaebum before he looked at Jinyoung – who was putting a worried face as him, and he seemed like he could notice that Mark was expecting for someone to come.

“Okay, so we can go now, shall we?” Jaebum said as he checked his wrist watch.

“Sure… sure, let’s go now,” Mark said as he was making his way to inside the airport. But along the way he came in with Jaebum and Jinyoung, Mark kept glancing at the back.

Jinyoung noticed it, but he didn’t know what he should do or he should say. Being a cheerful person like he was, it was so strange to see that he suddenly became a very quiet person since yesterday when he, Jaebum and Mark recorded the new song together. But since Mark had busied with his work and his personal issue, he didn’t mind it.

Finally, Mark stopped from looking at his back as they entering the airport. With his head down low, he walked leading the three of them. Jinyoung sighed sadly and followed the eldest steps. ‘Eunji noona, I am sorry…’ he said to himself. ‘Finally we could not achieve our dream as one team… But I still hope that you will get your dream though it isn’t together with me…’

Bomi found Eunji was sitting on her bed when she made a visit to her house. Eunji’s mother told her that her daughter didn’t come out from her room since yesterday. Bomi gulped before patted her shoulder. “Are you not eating? Aunt Jung was cooking your favorite meat.”

“No, I am not hungry yet,” she shook her head. “Aren’t you supposed to accompany Jinyoung to the airport right now?”

“You need me more than him,” Bomi said as she sat beside her.

Eunji shook her head once again. “It’s okay. I’m all right. You should go to the airport now. Jinyoung must be waiting for you.”

Bomi sighed. “You are not okay, Ji.”

Eunji was taken aback by Bomi’s remark. “What are you talking about, Bbom? I am okay. I am more than okay. Look at me, I’m smiling now,” she turned her face to meet Bomi’s gaze while formed a smile on her face.

Bomi stared at her eyes deeply and she could clearly see the hurt on her friend’s eyes. She pitied her. “Come here you,” Bomi pulled her into a tight hug. “Don’t be such a great pretender in front of me. I am your best friend. You cannot hide anything from me.”

Eunji shifting inside Bomi’s hug as her smile slowly vanished and her eyes starting to bawl in tears. “I hurt him. I hurt him, Bbom. He must hate me now…” Eunji sobbed. “I’m a bad person here… I am an ungrateful.”

“Eunji…”

“I know it may sound crazy… But will he still love me? Will he wait for me?” Eunji looked up with tears on her cheeks. She didn’t care if her best friend told her that her face looks so awful right now.

“Eunji, I know it hurt you enough. I know that you won’t this happen. I know it isn’t fair for you and Mark. But you should believe in fate,” Bomi said.

Eunji nodded lightly before she buried her face once again into Bomi’s shirt and she let her.

“I wish we’re fated, Mark…”

2 years had passed…

Eunji’s voice condition was already better. With the help of Bomi, she could join A Cube Entertainment and they became trainees. She felt happy because she will achieve her dream as a professional singer since A Cube will debut a new girl group soon and she was the part of the project. But during those 2 years, Eunji changed into a gloomy person. She always spent her days playing guitar and singing in the recording studio rather than hang out with Bomi and her soon-to-be members.

Jaebum and Jinyoung started their band career as soon as they came back to Korea. And now, two years later after they got trained on LA, they became a famous indie band. Their indie album was successful under the name of JJ Project. Meanwhile, Mark already being a part of JYP Entertainment since the company gave him an exclusive contract as their new producer.

Jinyoung was waiting patiently for his ex-band’s mate. He decided to visit her after Bomi – his girlfriend told him that Eunji had a solo dance practice at Cube Building. He was tapping his fingers since he was waiting for her inside the Cube café. He threw his gaze around the café since he felt run out of patience.

“Oh geez… I never being this nervous before,” he sighed before put his gaze back to his caramel macchiato.

Suddenly, a voice of barista sounded around the café. Jinyoung turned his face to found the source of the sound as he could see the barista greeted the guest. He could see a girl with cap, loose t-shirt and jeans entering the café from the back door.

“Jinyoungie~!” she called his name in amazement as she caught his presence.

Jinyoung immediately got up from his seat as the girl approaching him.

“Eunji noona!” he chanted as he walked closer, reaching her figure, using his arms to pulled her into him. “I miss you!”

Jinyoung said it loudly, and Eunji’s arms wrapped around his body while excitedly exploring his back, filling her touch with the memory of his figure. Her eyes closed tightly as the memories of them returned and fluttering her.

“I miss you too,” she said as smiling widely upon his chest, enjoying his deep nasal voice. Jinyoung tightened his embrace as he missed her so badly. 2 years being separated were more than enough.

“Excuse me,” a voice suddenly butted in, and reluctantly they both loosened their hug as their eyes find a 20 years old guy who was staring at them annoyingly next to their table. “I’m sorry but I think you two were hugging too long in this public area.”

“Oh-uh, we’re really sorry,” Jinyoung rubbed the back of his neck before back to his seat, so did Eunji.

A pregnant silence suddenly created between them for some seconds, before chuckle suddenly release from their lips.

“How are you?” Eunji was being the first person to ask.

Jinyoung lifted his chin as showing his sparkle eyes; Eunji could bet that he was so happy. He has changed. He looked more mature and handsome - as always. Meanwhile, Jinyoung could tell that Eunji changed drastically. She becomes taller and more beautiful. Well, maybe it’s true that people said a girl will become prettier when she becomes an adult – he thought.

“I am good. So did the JJ Project—,“ he paused to see the expression of Eunji. But instead became sad, Eunji’s facial expression suddenly changed brighter.

“Tell me what have you done during your stay with Jaebum in LA?”

Jinyoung was tapping an index finger on his chin. “How do we start?” he pretended to think before starting to blabbered. “JJ Project started to gain the popularity as an indie band when we trained on LA. I never expected that we will get the popularity even we yet make an official debut. And I really never expected that Park Jinyoung sunbaenim will recruit us to be JYP’s trainee. You know how cool is that for being a part of JYP Entertainment? Oh, I am sorry, noona. I didn’t mean to be arrogant, but A Cube also a good company. But come on, this is JYP?! I am a big fan of him and it was my biggest dream to joining the big company!” Jinyoung beamed and Eunji couldn’t help but chuckling by seeing his happy face.

“Yeah, congratulations for you. I am sure that you would not gain this popularity if you still using me as the part of the group since Korean fans prefer to see bromance rather than brother-sister romance,” Eunji .

“Yah! We just acted like that in front of the camera only! You know that I still loved girls especially Bomi noona, and it will not change forever,” Jinyoung pouted and it made Eunji laughed louder.

A silence suddenly made as both of them started to enjoying their drink. Eunji cleared as her eyes wondering around. Jinyoung could sense that there was something that his ex-band’s mate wanted to ask more. He could read from her gestures – they already that close.

“Eunji noona…” he called and forming a teasing smile. “Are you sure you won’t ask about him?”

“Uh?” Eunji almost choked on her drink. “Who are you talking about?”
