Chapter Eighteen; Sandeul's... Inlove!?

Gongchan and I strolled at the park, even though it was already night. 

There was a very awkward silence between us.

He finally spoked up, "Hwansun.."

I stopped walking and looked at him. "Hm, Waeyo?"

He looked at me, seriously, "Why didn't you told me earlier.. that you were really Woosung?.. don't you trust me anymore?" He asked. I can tell that he was really upset.

"I thought you would freak out. I thought you would just leave me again." I said.

There was another silence. But then, he chuckled.

I looked at him curiously. He then patted my head and smiled. "I won't leave you again, I promise."

He grabbed my arm and hugged me. 

I blushed, really really hard! Although I think this was awkward, I felt so... warm.

I then hugged him back.

Few seconds later, he released me and we laughed.

"Let's go home." He said and smiled. I nodded.

He walked me home and he went home also.

I walked to my room and sat on my bed.

I didn't realize, I was smiling the whole time.

I giggled. Then, my phone rang.

Gongchan send me a text.

From: Gongchan (:

I hope you had fun =) because I did ! ^_^ good night, Hwansun ^^ 

I smiled and laid my head on the pillow, still staring at the picture of him and me we took a while ago.

{Morning}

I changed into my uniform and I grabbed my bag.

I went downstairs and saw Eomma cooking breakfast.

She looked at me, "Hwansun-ah, Gongchan-ah left a message for you." She handed me a paper.

Dear Hwansun,

Sorry, I'm not going to school today! My dad told me he needs me right now. Mianhe!! I'll be back tomorrow. Bye~

I chuckled. "He should've just texted me." I smiled.

I then ate breakfast and went to school.

I arrived and went to my seat.

Jinyoung still isn't here.. Weird. He always comes earlier than me.

I put my bag on my desk and sat there, looking out on the window.

Then, class started. 

"Good morning, students. I will now check the attendance, arasso?" The teacher said.

He looked around and saw two seats empty.

"Is mr. Jung and mr. Gong absent?" He asked me. I nodded. "Ah, I see." He said.

I sighed. "Both of them are absent. Waeyo?"

{After Class}

I walked to the canteen. Then, somebody called me. "Woosung!"
I turned around to see CNU. 

He walked towards me. "Where's Jinyoung?" He asked.

"He's absent." I said. "Waeyo?" He replied.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know."

"Okay." He said. "Let's eat together!" He smiled.

"Sure..." I said.

We sat on a table and ate. "Yesterday was fun." He said and smiled.

I smiled back, "Mhm. Yeah."

"I wonder why Jinyoung's absent. He rarely does that," He said. "And if he got sick, he looked really fine yesterday, right?"

I nodded. "Maybe he just has something he needs to do."

He nodded.

Then, somebody called us. "CNU-ah! Woosung-ah!" We looked and saw Sandeul.

He happily ran towards us. "Annyeong!" He said.

I smiled at him, "Annyeong."

He looked around, "Eh? Where's Jinyoung?" He asked.

"Absent." CNU said while drinking his coke.

Sandeul frowned. "Aw. That's too bad."

"Anyway, Sandeul, what are you doing here?" CNU asked.

He immediately smiled again, "I think I like someone." He said.

CNU spitted his drink. "Omo!? What!?" 

I blinked. "Waeyo?"

CNU looked at me, surprised. "It's the first time.. I ever see Sandeul liking someone."

My eyes widen. "Oh."

CNU looked at him again. "Anyway, who's this lucky girl, huh?"

Sandeul scratched his head. "E-Erm, I really don't know what her name is..."

CNU facepalmed. "Aish... I knew it." He said. "How did you like her?"

He smiled, "Because she's pretty. I saw her last night on the park, holding an ice cream."

It was my turn to spit my drink. 

"Eh, Woosung? What's wrong?" CNU asked.

I shooked my head. "Nothing."

It isn't possible that... I'm the one who Sandeul likes, right!?
