That night, Haruna decided to sleep over at Mirai's house. Her schedules hadn't been too tight lately, so Haruna decided to spend some time bonding with her favorite senpai. They were watching TV together that night. Mirai switched on the channel.

Haruna: Ah, Yamada-kun is a guest again (points at the TV)

Mirai: Geez, that guy appears everywhere lately. But the previews of the movie are so awesome though.

The two tugged into Mirai's bed while watching the TV. Mirai grabbed a bowl of popcorn and shared it with Haruna.

Ryosuke: During 1st grade, there were two girls fighting in class. It was the first time for me to witness two girls fighting with eachother. It was so noisy, so I told them, "Girls, do you mind continuing your fight outside class? It's getting noisy." But then the two turned against me instead, saying "Shut up chibi!".

Everyone laughed.

Ryosuke: From that day on, I never spoke to girls again in class.

Mirai and Haruna's eyes widen. They froze.

Haruna: So that's the reason why he doesn't talk to girls? (glanced at Mirai)

Mirai: I never knew that incident affected him so much.

They continued watching. 

Ryosuke: We eventually reconciled during a fieldtrip on the third grade. Surprisingly one of them confessed to me that time saying that she liked me.

Mirai choked on her popcorn.

Haruna: EEEH?

Mirai: (coughing)

Haruna: Ne, ne, senpai? Is it true?? One of those girls liked him and confessed to him that day?

Mirai: I.... I had no idea...

Haruna: Senpai, who are those girls??

Mirai's mind drifted to another place...

Horikoshi Highschool, early 2010

During the first week of Highschool for the new Horikoshi Highschool 1-D batch...

Mirai: (walked into the classroom, and approached her deskmate) Ohayou Umika-chan...

Umika: (pulled Mirai towards the seat beside her) Sssst...

Mirai: A-re? (confused)

Umika: (pointed across the room)

Meanwhile across the room...

Nozomi: You can't decide things without my consent!

Mika: But you weren't there yesterday! It's not my fault!

Nozomi: But I wanted to take the window seat! I asked you to spare that chair for me!

Mika: Well I changed my mind, okay? Come on it's just a stupid seat!

Nozomi: Yeah, a seat I'm going to sit on for the rest of my highschool years!

Mirai: Tell me this fight hadn't occured that long? (whispers at Mirai)

Umika: (glanced at her watch) Actually, it's been 10 minutes by now

Mirai: Don't tell me it was all about a stupid seat?

Umika: Yup, that's about it

Suzuka: (takes a seat beside Umika) They're probably having cramps. We shouldn't interfere.

Mirai and Umika: Agreed.

From behind the fighting girls, they suddenly heard someone standing up from his chair. The three girls looked at his direction. It was Ryosuke.

Ryosuke: Girls, girls... (waving his hands)

Nozomi and Mika turned at Ryosuke and gave him a sharp gaze.

Ryosuke: Do you girls mind continuing your fight outside class? It's getting kinda noisy, and it's uncomfortable for us to see.

Mika & Nozomi: Shut up Chibi!

Nozomi: Stay out of this!

Ryosuke was taken aback.

Ryosuke: C-chibi...?!

Mirai, Umika, and Suzuka's jaws dropped open in bewilderment.

The girls arched their brows at Ryosuke before they continued their fight. 

Ryosuke went back to his seat with an uneasy feeling. The other class member was speechless. 

Yuto: (whispers at Kamiki) Did she just call him...

Kamiki: (nodded) yup.

Chinen: Thats rough. (commented beside the two boys softly)

Ryosuke is never talking to girls again. Ever.
