There it is again.
The pout.
The same pout he used at me when I refused to eat ice cream with rice. With rice. Who does that? Having ice cream as a side-dish? He won though, I finally gave in and tried eating it with rice and his eyes seemed to be sparkling with interest while waiting for my reaction. Too bad for him, I didn’t like it. That time, I swore I’ll never give in to that pout again. No matter how cute he looks whenever he does it.
But this time, it’s different.
We are out again, in my car, in the middle of the night. Schedules are done for today and it’s been a while since we saw each other. I miss him a lot. I miss him every day. And based on the tight hugs and sweet kisses he gives me whenever we see each other, I’m sure he feels the exactly the same.
“Can’t we stay a bit longer?” he sounded like a little kid asking for some candy and he looks so adorable. I leaned over to the passenger seat and kissed the pout away. He smiled at me and I so want to stay longer, too. But we both have early schedules for tomorrow and I don’t want him to get in trouble because of this.
“Sorry but we can’t,” I sighed. I hate it when our time being together is almost up. We have a limited amount to be together and even during the holidays, we’re busy. “And can you stop pouting?” I was so close to giving in but no, I need to restrain myself.
“Why?”
“Not cute.”
“Really? Not what you said the last time,” he winked at me. He knows I’m helpless to that stupid pout. “Or the time before that, or when you first saw me do it.”
I rolled my eyes and laug
