Titles
A Fan Fiction Writer's GuideTitles and blurbs are lovers. If you have a good title, but not a good blurb, chances are your story may not get as much attention as you would like it to. And if you have a bad title, chances are people won't even consider reading the blurb because it sounds like not much effort was put into even the title.
For example, there is a book I'm reading called "Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe." Automatically this title caught my attention on the shelves.
Then the blurb on the back had me hooked, despite not even being all that intruiging, it somehow was.
"Dante can swim. Ari can't. Dante is articulate and self-assured. Ari has a hard time with words and suffers from self-doubt."
The reason the back caught my attention was because the author had characters that were such polar opposites when it came to personality that I just wanted to see how it woud end up.
Despite what I said in my "Blurb" chapter, as long as yours is interesting, it doesn't have to be fancy like the example I gave.
