Change up your style
A Fan Fiction Writer's GuideIf you want to write a story and you're the type of person to sit down and just do it (me) and then suddenly: OH NO!
And then you stop because you don't have any more ideas or you didn't plan this far.
Well, why not change up your writing style to get the ideas flowing and the story moving forward?
If you're like me and you get an idea and BAM it's on the screen, then try to plan it out next time. Use a plot diagram, a web, whatever way of planning you prefer. It may help you writer more than you thought if you know where you're going.
Or, if you like to make things almost perfect the first time you put it on paper, then next time, write a crap paragraph that even a 6th grader would cringe at and then edit, reread, and change it from there. Sometimes, for me at least, I get caught up in the details and how good it should be instead of the actual story itself.
So basically, just do the opposite of what you normally.
