CHAPTER THREE

When the plane reached an appropriate height, the pilot communicated that they could unbuckle their safety belts during the flight to Las Vegas. Kyuhyun barely had opened his mouth since they took the plane.

After that Kyuhyun had accepted to be his wife for a year, Siwon had planned a quick flight to Las Vegas. He was convinced that a romantic wedding in Las Vegas would be more credible for the lawyers than a trip to the court.

Siwon unbuckled his safety belt and got up from the seat of his private jet to go for a bottle of champagne. When he looked at his future wife, he realized that Kyuhyun didn´t stop touching his hands. How curious, he thought, he could lose everything and, however, Kyuhyun couldn´t stay still.

“Take this, maybe this can help you” – he gave him a glass of champagne and sat in front of him.

“Is it so evident?”

“The white knuckles betray you”

Kyuhyun drank the half of the glass from a shot.

“I have never wanted to be an actor”

“Well I´m sure many Studies would be willing to hire you as one of them for a big quantity of money”

“If I received a dollar for every time I have heard that…”

Siwon was sure it was like that.

“You have an amazing voice”

Kyuhyun looked away and his cheeks got blushed quickly.

“I think this marriage thing would work out if any of us found anything extraordinary in the other. It´s nothing personal”

“Maybe you are right, but remember we have agreed to be honest with each other. And you have the most sensual voice I have ever heard in all my life”

Siwon couldn´t help but smirk when he saw Kyuhyun´s red face like a tomato for his compliment. He liked that. He was adorable.

Kyuhyun drank the other half of his glass and said “I´m not sure if I should thank you or ask you to be less superficial”

“Ehh?”

“It was you who asked honesty”

Siwon watched how Kyuhyun took off his shoes and his knuckles recovered his normal color again. He didn´t know how to take it, but it was evident that to helped Kyuhyun to feel more comfortable.

“The only person who dares to call me superficial is Lee Hyuk Jae”

“Your best friend?”

“The only true friend I have”

“Really? I thought that someone with your fortune would have an entourage of friends”

“Money attracts people but not friends” – he answered.

“Amen for that, I guess Hyuk Jae knows about us. I mean about the agreement”

“He knows”

“And what about your girlfriends? Do they also know it?”

Now Siwon felt uncomfortable. Even when his marriage was going to be fake, it was weird to talk about his lovers with the person who would be his future wife.

“Tell my ‘girlfriends’ as you call them would be to call the inquisition and give it an interview in double page” – Siwon hurried to fill a new round of champagne in their glasses.

“You don´t trust them?”

“Not in this”

“How can you do it?”

“What?”

“Go to bed with women you don´t trust” – Kyuhyun accepted the new glass of champagne.

“It is called attraction”

“It is called lust” – Kyuhyun corrected, laughing.

“That too”

Siwon started to feel a warm sensation inside. When was the last time he had talked to a man about his masculine motivations? Never. And, for his surprise, he liked to do it.

“So…what have you said to your…? How do you call the girls you relate to? Lovers?”

Lover sounded too personal.

“I haven´t said anything to them yet”

“What I would give to see one of those conversations through a hole. 'Oh sweetheart, by the way, I have married this weekend ” – He couldn´t help but laugh.

“I don´t think I can say it like that” – to be honest he didn´t know how to tell them but he hadn´t thought too much about it either.

“Are you aware of that you are risking losing the two of them, aren´t you?”

“How do you know they are two?...whatever, I didn´t remember your intensive work of investigation. You don´t have to worry about them. You will not even meet them”

“Superficial and a little bit naïve”

God! He was just teasing him again.

“Excuse me?”

“If you and I would be dating and suddenly you married to another person, I would do everything to know that person to whose height, judging by your actions, I am not. And, certainly, I would hate myself for doing it. Women are emotional creatures Mr. Ch…Siwon. I wouldn´t be able to control my impulses. I doubt that Sue and Vicky…”

“Victoria” – Siwon corrected.

“Sorry, Sue and Victoria can be different. Which one of them would you easily break her heart?”

Sincerity was going too far. Siwon didn´t feel comfortable. Kyuhyun´s smile didn´t seem forced and his eyes shone with naughtiness. He thought for a while what Sue and Vicky would say when they knew about his wedding. Sue would probably give him a slap and leave outraged. Victoria wouldn´t be so dramatic, but it was too risky to keep a relationship with her.

“The two know about the existence of the other”

“But who do you love the most?”

“I can´t believe that my future wife is asking me that”

“Who, Siwon?”

Kyuhyun was implacable.

“Victoria. But I doubt that she wants to face you. Also, she lives in London and comes here occasionally”

“Yes, and Sue lives between London and Spain”

“I see you have investigated all” – Siwon said after hearing the voice of the pilot that indicated the arrival to Las Vegas.

“Always” – Kyuhyun replied very proud.

“Would you tell me if one of the two show up in your house?”

“You will be the first one to know it”

The jet started the descent and Kyuhyun turned his look to the window. Between the champagne and the conversation, he seemed to be nervous. Siwon held his hand again.

“You should control those reactions” – he suggested.

Kyuhyun fixed his gaze on their hands entwined, they fit so well and he breathed deeply.

“I try”

Siwon didn´t remove his hand and decided to repeat the exercise often. Did he startle because he disliked the touch or did he like to be touched? Maybe he liked it and that bothered him. Well he would have to get used to that.

When the jet landed, Siwon looked at a worried Kyuhyun and he focused on his lips, those pink juicy lips. With any other woman, he would approach to her and he would make to forget the worries with a kiss. What would their lips taste at? Sweet like Champagne, he thought. He imagined that sensual voice whispering in his ear, encouraging him in not to stop in a simple kiss, and something woke up under his pants. He looked away and held his hand tight.

When they were out of the jet, Siwon asked.

“Are you ready to get married?”

Kyuhyun moved his hand to entwine his fingers with Siwon´s.

“Why not? I don´t have a better plan for today”

Both started to laugh.

After a brief travel in limousine to the most expensive hotel of the city, Kyuhyun stood up in front of the altar of a small chapel holding his future husband´s hand. During the ceremony he gave Siwon the ring that he had prepared before, but when Siwon slipped the ring with small diamonds on his finger, Kyuhyun couldn´t avoid his surprise.

“For my duchess” – he said.

Why had this gorgeous man chosen him instead of the beautiful women he was always surrounded? He was not a woman, he was a man but somehow he didn´t
